To start off with ambiance: the floors are concrete and the surfaces are all hard which made the noise level almost unbearable and impossible to have a conversation at the table. To add to that, every 5-7 minutes would be a birthday celebration song from the wait staff. Kind of like a Chuckie Cheese for adults. As far as the food is concerned, if you do not eat beef, you will have VERY FEW choices. The meat quality and flavor was very hit or miss, most of it extremely over-salted. Our kebab service tonight was some of the worst I have ever had, we had our marker set to green the ENTIRE time we were there (6pm - 7:45), and played a game of lets see how often anyone even offers us food, while at better quality Brazilian steakhouses (Fogo de Chao in Kansas City is AMAZING!) you would be overwhelmed in 10 minutes with the amount of food coming at you. We had to beg our server to have options sent over to us such as chicken, turkey (the skewers came by twice in the 1.75 hours we were there), pork or fish (of which we NEVER saw either), vegetables, and pineapple (which was delicious). To be fair to her, she tried to help us, but was not successful. Either they are understaffed in servers or grill masters, but there was not enough food anywhere near our table. A manager spoke to us several times and we shared our concerns about the lack of food. Rather than offering to comp any of the meal prices (we definitely did NOT get the price of the meal recouped!), we were offered coupons for future visits. They were left on the table as we will NEVER be returning.

My sisters baclorette party First of all we made reservations on the phone on Tuseday august 26th for Saturday the 30th. Our reservations were foor 5:30pm and we were told that we would need to be out of there promply at 7:30pm cause they had another party at that time. We reserved a table for 17. Saturday comes and we are there right at 5:30 not all of us but 8 of us. We asked if we could be seated and we were told they have a strict reservation policy that the entire party must be there before we can be seated. 30 mintues go by (its now 6pm) and we asked to be seated agian, and agian we are told about there policy. I explain to them that since the waiting area is full we are stuck waiting outside and that we are becoming very unhappy at this point. We also inform them that there will only be twelve of us now and that the other 4 are on Hwy 70 in ofallon that they were almost here. They then send the manager out and he agian for the third time explains to us there strict reservation policy (basiclly sorry for ya keep on waiting). By this point we are hot and beyond angry it is an hour and half later and we are still standing outside. So as a group we decide that they no longer deserve our buisness and go down to bar louie where we are immedatly seated and served drinks. I would suggest that nobody go to Tucanos they are rude uncaring and inconsiderate pricks! That i think I can safely say is our group opinon of them!!! Will never go there ever again!!!!!

The food is amazing. My one star is for the hostess staff. We have been to Tucanos many times and love the food and atmoshpere. But everytime we have gone the hostess staff (mostly the main women) has been so rude to us. Always snippy and unkind. This last time we went was just the worse. We were meeting friends there and was running a bit late. Our friends said we would need a table of 4 plus 2 highchairs. They said it would be an hour wait and handed them a beeper. They also told our friends that when we got there let them know as it may be quicker. When we got there we told them and there response was it would be another hour because there time didnt start until everyone was present. No one ever said that is how it works. The hostess pretty much was like to bad you didnt understand. We had a toddler who was getting ansy and yes the entire situstion was frustrating so we had to leave. I had tried making reservations earlier that day and they told me the couldnt on a Friday night. I just hate that the first thing you experience when walking into the place is a rude crabby lady. They lost 4 customers because of it. The Tucanos in Salt Lake has much nicer employees. For anyone planning on going with friends remember you all have to be present before you can be considered for a table.

Awfully disappointing...I do not eat pork or beef...there was no choice of chicken or turkey or lamb or seafood or very few options...I understand that was maybe my problem and so settled with the salad bar, should have walked out when I could. The majority on salad bar is just store bought items placed on ice...not a hint of good taste just bland...The chicken wings we ordered as appetizers were just soaked in vinegar and salt, I think, and every bite was getting worse than the one before...of course the manager has an attitude and not to mention you have to book a hour in advance or wait there. The place is unnecessarily loud and noisy with blaring music and staff clapping and yelling for birthdays....you cannot have a peaceful dinner, also the serving staff will try to go to the worlds end to try to engage in small talk when you really do not want to...I am hearing about the survey here in the reviews, so the manager already knew that I did not like the place....might be my experience, so understandable if the other folks love this place, but if you do not eat beef or pork or if you are vegetarian just carry a 20-foot long pole when you are in the vicinity of this place that way you will know for sure if you are getting closer to it or the manager...

Americano ou brasileiro com certeza vai gostar desse restaurante. Se estiver com saudades de arroz e feijão com carne sem gosto de barbecue vai achar ótimo. Nada contra barbecue más tem hora que enjoa. ☺ Ótimo lugar para um happy hour com os amigos. Im pretty sure that Americans or Brazilians are going to enjoy this restaurant. If you miss rice and beans with meat without barbecue sauce you are going to appreciate it. I have nothing against BBQ sauce but sometimes you got tired. Its a great place for a happy hour with your friends.

Wasnt impressed. OVERPRICED! Went for my birthday dinner and couldnt get a reservation until 9 pm! Half the party got there at 8:45 and it still took them until about 9:15-9:30 to get our table ready. The floors were not safe to walk on. I have bad knees and slipped multiple times which caused me lots of pain. There are no kid friendly food options. Food wasnt anything special. A glass of moscato was $12! I could have gotten like 2 bottles for that price at the store. Used my free birthday meal coupon and still ended up paying $20 for a glass of wine and a terrible brownie dessert. They ran out of vanilla which is what was advertised but brought it out with rocky road which was literally completely melted. I will not be returning and I definitely dont recommend this place. Also unprofessional employee romantic relationships were on display at the front counter. If youre gonna work with your significant other dont grab each others butts when customers are around and youre on the clock.
