My Wife and I dined in here, and had terrible service. Our waitress completely ignored us the entire time. I had to get the attention of another waitress to get drink refills for us both. Both of our meals should have come with soup and salad. We received neither. After waiting for 30 minutes for the ticket, we paid and I left a tip that I thought was deserving of the service we had received. One dollar bill. On the ticket, under the portion that says tip right above total. I put, In BOLD letters, NONE. We left. My wife is a Loan officer at the credit union that our debit card belongs to. She looked at our previous transactions and found that Hana had held out Five Dollars for a tip. I will be following up with the manager on this later today. I will not be going back to this place.

I read reviews and almost didnt go, because it was my wifes birthday, at the last minute we decided to go, because it was her choice. The food was awesome, we ordered 5 different kind of hot and raw sushi rolls, all were excellent. My wife also ordered Udon noodle seafood soup and was great. Service was excellent, I asked for extra ginger and sirchi mayo, which is normally a problem at some establishments, but our waitress brought out big bowls of the condiments. I was waiting for the staff to give us and other customers problems, according to reviews we read, but they were fast, clean and very nice. Really sad some people give horrible reviews, without any concerns how the bad review will effect a establishment financially. Again a +5

Ive eaten here with my husband for lunch before and it was great. But tonight I got sushi to go for dinner tonight and when I looked at my avocado in my Phillidelphia roll, it was brown and unfresh. I was disappointed but I sucked it up and ate it anyways because I was hungry. It wasnt good at all. It was mooshey and tasted bad. Ive always gone to the Hana in Alexandria just because I lived there before my husband and I moved onto Fort Polk. But the Alexandria Hana is awesome. Their sushi ingredients are always fresh and the cooks at the grills are very nice and careful with the food while cooking it. And the service is wonderful. Its definitely worth the drive.

I had heard many good things about Hanas and my wife and I decided this is where we would eat dinner for our anniversary. The service was friendly and expedient, and the food was delicious. We ordered the house special and two separate sushi rolls. On the downside I received food poisoning from this establishment and spent much of the following 48 hours sick on my bathroom floor. Im not allergic to any food items so I know it wasnt allergies. It may have been an isolated occurrence but due to this we will not be returning to this restaurant, regardless of the excellent service.

We were in Leesville for only 2 weeks, thankfully. The dining places were few and far between - I convinced my honey to have Japanese with me (after eating at horrible places for 3 days, he finally gave in) --- was it ever worth it! The service was okay - the chef was incredible: his performance and friendliness was great - and the food was spectacular. I didnt expect to find good seaweed in the middle of LA - but I did. It was well worth it - we went back twice during our visit. Its a habachi grill - so you can get steak, chicken, shrimp, etc. and its good.

The food was awful , it was a really great show of it being cooked in front of you , but that in itself was not worth the almost $50 bucks per person I paid for my family to eat here. All the meat was all cooked well done , I happen to like mine medium and wasnt asked what I preferred. Aside from the steak , everything else ....i mean EVERYTHING all tasted exactly the same ....my vegetables shouldnt taste like rice !. Granted there was a LOT to eat , if you can stomach it , you wont walk away hungry..... But I promise you , I didnt want a take home bag.

Every plate on the menu is $20 and over. They gave us a half cup of rice, a half cup of noodles, and a small piece of chicken and small piece of steak. I complained, they said that it is a single portion, if you want more then you have to pay more. We left our food on the plate and went to eat elsewhere. Do not waste your time with this fake, overpriced, japanese restaurant

I thought the service was great, like the self serve salad buffet, and the food was just as great if not better than a place back home that is also a steakhouse we love. The cook was nice and made the experience fun and our meal was cooked exactly as ordered, overall very pleased with the whole experience, if you love Japanese Steakhouses check it out you wont be let down!

I love Hana! Before my friends husband deployed and she went back to Chicago, she and I would go about once a week. We loved it! The price is not bad. The food is REALLY good and the service was always great. One side of the restaurant is sushi and the other side is hibachi. The chefs are always courteous and fun to watch. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Lunch here is ok, but expect to spend at least $20 a plate at dinner. On our last trip, our cook burned our food, and when we brought it up to the manager, he just took 20% off of our bill even though it was hard and uneatable. I wont be back. I refuse to pay $119.00 on a meal for 3 that isnt excellent, in an establishment with a meager atmosphere.

Take out over the phone the woman was pretty rude and i had to repeat my order five times bec she waant listening. The food inside however is amazing. The chefs do tricks with the food (juggle eggs around, toss shrimp in or mouth, catch the onions on fire) very friendly in dine in on both sides lots of choices with sushi.

We have been to this restaurant about 3 times. Service is always BAD!!! Staff is not willing to work with you if you have special accommodations as far as food, i.e. allergies. People need to be more aware of food allergies and be willing to accommodate. We wont be back and definitely dont recommend!

The food is very expensive and the portions are very small. I wouldnt mind paying more if the service was great but its very poor. I dont drink caffeinated drinks or soda so I asked for water and couldnt get a refill to save my life. Overall I was very disappointed with the food.

The staff seemed pretty nice but the food Was inedible. After watching them put raw seafood, poultry and red meat on top of each other was just too much! I guess they dont care about cross contamination! Really makes me question how they store food out of view of customers.

Decent hibachi restaurant, good for the area. You can order sushi from the attached sushi bar, so everyone in the party can be happy. The hibachi is heavily oiled / soy sauce infused, so if that is something you dont care for, avoid it.
