I was there by myself and they seated me at the bar after I was told a table would be 30 minutes. I waited and waited and finally forced myself on the bar tender and ordered. 5 minutes later he returns they are out of what I ordered, so, do I want anything else? I look at the menu and while am looking he walks off. He gets busy, cleans up bottles, trash, other “stuff”, makes some drink orders and never comes back! After waiting again I had enough! I called the hostess over told her what all had happened, and she seemed less interested or as if it was I none ear and out the other. I asked for a manager and finally he comes and walks by me. She apologized. Finally, he come back and calls me over and I told him the entire story, again, and the whole time I am talking he is looking all around and is not listening. I finally said this is not bothering you and you are not interested! I told him how I, or “we,” that is my other half, come here all the time and I will not be coming back. We have even brought people here to eat so they can see it. This entire experience was so ridiculous, without any merit on their part, and I spent more time waiting for service at bar compared to as if I had waited for a table.

We ate at the bar Saturday night (9-10-16). Bartenders were all great but ours was exceptional. Really wish i could recall her name... Anyhow, the place itself is A1 in regards to the atmosphere, location, the views, employees, etc. It was, to us, the food that lacked. I had the Mahi. Its cooked sorta cajun style with crawfish tales covering it when it comes to your plate. The very first bite i had was a crawfish as a matter of fact. And as soon as i took it... I almost threw up right there. It taste as u had taken it out of a muddy witch, shaken the water off em and enjoyed em raw. Except it was God Awful. I persevered though and eventually was brave enough to try another and it was ok but nothing Great, just like all the ones after and the Mahi itself was good too. That one bad crawfish, though, i blame for an entire evening of the worst cramps and stomach aches that i can recall in long. The wife had a sandwich. She said it was ok, but nothing to write home to Mom about. If they could just get the food on point with the rest of the location then they would truly have something special

Hubby & I occasionally go by for lunch after church. Last Sunday, he had the Pulled Pork Tacos & I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad. They were both very good. Good presentation and excellent wait staff. Though the weather was very warm, the large fans and rooftop breeze made it very pleasant. The only thing on their menu I dont care for so far is the Fish Tacos. My first bite was full of bones! (Surprising, because it was supposed to be boneless!) also they used a sweet slaw, and I really hate sweet slaw, but thats just my taste. Fish & sweet just dont go together in my book. Hubby had a Bloody Mary there once that was like a work of art! Over all, a very nice place for a date or lunch with friends. One of the BEST views on the Mississippi River!!!

Wonderful place to dine. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially for out of town guests. Reasonable prices, great service, food is great, and the veiw is awesome the 10 south burger is my dish. My last post about 10 South was three months ago, and today I still feel the same. This is a wonderful place to for every occasion. In dealing with the times we are in where everything is about profit, it is great to have a little old school, meaning they care about customer service. Their customer service is fantastic every time no matter how busy they are normally the time of day you go, the service and food are always consistent. Outstanding. If you are local please go out and support these restaurant.

Friendly, but pricey watering hole/restaurant with great views of the river. I ordered the chicken and waffles, wasnt impressed by the waffle, but the chicken was boneless fried and well seasoned.. Drinks are pricey, margarita seemed watered down--if they made much tequila at all. Guacamole was served with fried flour tortilla chips, both were tasty. My partner had the chicken fried steak, it was large and tasty. Sea salt dusted fries were a treat. Sugar cane cole slaw, just ok. It started to storm while we were there. They are prepared for rain and stormy weather. Again great views with and without the rain

As I walked in, the view blew me away, unfortunately that was the only good thing about my experience. I was not bothered by the 45 minute wait, as I expected to have at least mediocre service; this however, was not the case. I see this is rated 4.7 out of 5 stars on Facebook, I believe it is criminal to have such misleading information on the internet. Im also concerned for the other reviewers Senses being sight, taste, touch, auditory, and smell, as they have clearly have lost all which is unfortunate, as Im sure they would have marveled at the service or lack thereof provided at 10 South rooftop and grill.

Love the salty herbed pretzels with honey mustard sauce that come as soon as you are seated. Yazoo catfish taco appetizer enough for light dinner, very tasty. Pork ribeye entree was done perfectly with sweet tomato glaze. Dont get Caesar salad. Had tasteless bottled dressing, lettuce needed to be chilled and wasnt crisp. Peanut butter pie was yummy, not too sweet but lots of peanut butter flavor. Enough chocolate shavings to have a bit with each bite. Mud pie is mammoth brownie with nuts. It was enough for table of four. This is very casual restaurant but quickly developed a wait. Go early.

This place is awesome!!!! Me and my best friend went there for a girls afternoon, & after our expierence we will for sure go back! Everyone was so nice. Blake, our waiter, who is a good friend of mine was fabulous. His recommendations for the drinks were amazing. He always made sure we were okay, while taking care of many others. His recommendation for the Bread Pudding was like genius! Ive honestly never had any other bread pudding quite like that one. So good. Its a great place for a date, football game, casual dining or just a drink.

10 South had absolutely beautiful views, and delicious and reasonably priced food. There was a wait, even on a Wednesday night, but there are text alerts when your table is ready, so you can walk around and enjoy the view, which is so beautiful it hardly even feels like waiting. We went just in time to see the sunset, but I forgot to snap a picture until after dark. The restaurant says it is open until 9, but they will let you stay longer, they just stop cooking at 9. There was also live music, which completed the wonderful atmosphere.

If youre visiting Vicksburg, definitely stop in here!! Beautiful view, great service and the food was great. Went there with adults and kids. Happy hour specials were good, strong drinks (rare find!! ) Our waiter Taylor was awesome!! I had the coconut shrimp and blackened green beans, both were great, but the blackened green beans were fresh and original, definitely order those with your meal! Husband had the chicken fried steak, he said it was great as well. The moonpie bread pudding was a nice spin take on bread pudding
