Worst Olive Garden I have ever been to. I am handicap and never had a problem going here til about 2 months ago when a new manager started and then lied to me saying she needed to see my service dogs identification and that its company policy to ask. I told her no she can only ask me 2 questions is the dog a service dog and what tasks does it perform. Ada laws do not allow any other questions. No need for identification at all. The manager didnt even introduce that she was the manager just came over said she needed identification after Id already been sat at a table. I then said Id like to speak to a manager she was like I am the manager so I said fine I want to speak to someone higher up then. She was like ok I will go get you the number so I waited about 5 mins then emailed the main headquarters. So finally she came back and was like Im sorry I learned something new today I am not allowed to ask you that I said I know ik told you buy you didnt believe me and you lied to me. She them was like I get it I have a pet at home. That upset me even more. My service dog is not a pet and anyone who would compare their pet dog or cat to a service dog doesnt understand at all. Hes an extention of me. Hes my back. Hes my legs. Hes my everything. So I left because Id had enough being lied to and being discriminated against. The next day the main person called me from headquarters. I told her what happened she said she talked to the manager and told them the law and gave me a 35 dollar gift certificate to come back. Told me she would have the general manager call me and have me come in and talk to her. The general manager never called me. So my oldest daughter was up here home from college and wanted to go to Olive Garden. I was like ok I guess I can use my gift certificate. Again we go in and my service dog is with me because hes with me every place I go. We had no issues until after we ordered dessert. At that point the manager on duty comes over and asks me what does my dog do for me that he cant do from the floor. Again they discriminated and broke the law by asking me that question. There is no law that states my dog can not lay on the bench seat with me and that he has to be under the table. I will never go back to this Olive Garden. They are way to discriminatory. Also of you want good pasta go downtown there are plenty of better Italian restaurants in Madison that dont use all there sauces from a bag and also dont use premade pasta. Go somewhere that does fresh pasta and sauces.

Food was great. I have never had a bad experience with the food here. The issue was the service. Our servers name was Shannon, she made my friend and I feel completely unwelcome. Food came out quickly but after we were finished we waited and waited for our boxes and bills and then she walked by us and ignored our table. Not only that but when we finally got our boxes she boxed my soup and went to another table before finishing with us. Then we put our checks up and she said absolutely nothing and snatched them away. As servers we always tip 20% or more, but in this situation our tip was based on the service we received. Normally our service here is great and this experience makes us hesitant to even return.

Here right now and it is ok. I ordered chicken fettuccini and my pasta was a mix of spaghetti, fettuccini, and Angel hair pastas. Hubby got chicken parmesan and it was fried to very dark brown. The woman who waited on us was covering so many tables that she was very short and it seemed to annoy her when we wanted to add anything to our order. Then when it was time to order dessert she was busy running around looking for some book. So we had to wait an additional 20 minutes to order dessert. She had no idea what was on the menu and i mean she had no idea what they were by name. I had to use the little tablet to show her pictures of the food. Not a good experience at all and we will not be returning.

Service was great...food however was either overcooked or undercooked. I had chicken piccata off the seasonal menu and the chicken was overcooked almost to the point of being burnt and except for it being drenched in lemon butter and capers was dry. The parm-encrusted zucchini was undercooked almost.cold and crunchy. We were pressed for time and didnt have time to send the order back to go have the kitchen fis the issue. My wifes chicken parm however was done right and was good according to her.

although the food was good and the server was great - one of the employees stole my sons wallet. He left it at the table and with in a half hour is disappeared. The management are not willing to do anything about this and say that it just disappeared and that their employees do not steal. I have managed restaurants, and theft is quite common. Ever watch restaurant undercover on Foodnetwork. The management actually laughed at me that i would think the employees would steal.

Great experience until you get Lisa. Lisa looks like a grumpy Pebbles with her hair on top of her head. We asked for a booth. She stated there are none available while we are looking at one with people seated around it but are told it is unavailable die top no server. Who is serving the ones next to it. Not using all tables during lunch rush? Glad Olive Garden drives away their paying customers. Headed across town for lunch.

The apitizers are not very good, but the shrimp skampy is amazing. The food comes in huge portions my girlfriend and I shared one order of the shrimp skampy and our server put it on 2 plates for us...that was a perfect serving size. The server was very nice and the food came out in a reasonable time. The wait to get a table was kind of long, so I would recommend makeing a reservation. Overall great experience

Worst service ever I had a table of 6 and the host said 15 minute wait which was understandable because theyre busy some what but a table of 9 came about 10 mins after and they got seated before us. I went up and ask but the shady host said they had a table that fits that group...wtf ..btw no reservation allowed that day only first come first serve. CLEARLY NOT.

The manager was rude and so was one of the hostesses. If You pay for customer service people should probably treat you the right way especially management and the host who is the first person you see walking through the door. Ive been a server and a host I get it but put that fake smile on and dont treat customers poorly. Im not wasting any more money here.

Got there at 8:30 pm, service was good, salad was great, but what we order when we got it tasted as if it was microwaved. Will I go back, probably never. Cheaper to microwave at hom and get the same bland taste for quarter the price, I think we got leftovers from dinner rush hour, tasted bland and microwaved! Just not the Olive Garden I remember!
