I went to the Popeyes Restaurant #2269 located at 2420 25th Avenue, Gulfport, Mississippi. I ordered the $5 big box lunch. When asked, I ordered 2 pieces of mild dark meat chicken with coleslaw and mashed potatoes with NO gravy for my sides, and returned to the office with my food. The 2 thighs (dark meat) was the ONLY thing correct. The mild turned out to be spicy, the coleslaw turned out to be macaroni and cheese, and the mashed potatoes with NO gravy turned out to be red beans and rice! Because it was well past the lunch hour and I was starving, I decided to just eat what I received. The chicken was not too spicy, the macaroni and cheese and red beans and rice were tasty, though not what I ordered/wanted. However, when I only had a few bites of chicken left, I found A HAIR attached to the breading on the chicken!!!!! To say it turned my stomach is an understatement!! I strongly doubt I would ever be tempted to eat food from this restaurant again and will tell everyone I know to beware!!!!! DISAPPOINTING AND DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

The experience I had at Popeyes Tonight was great. My food was hot. They even drop me a 16 piece and the was bout to close in 15 mins. The woman with the braids was so nice. She really love her job. I was very satisfied.

Food was fresh and hot, our orders were accurate. We did have to wait a bit for food but that appeared to be due to understaffing, which I count as a management problem. All in all a good experience with friendly staff.

The food is always hot when i stop by. And the rate of mess ups are fairly low for me. Id said 1 out of 5 times, they forget a side, but other than that theyre a lot better than the other popeyes along the coast.
