Although Preston is a very nice man and has really worked to try to improve our experience, when I return, Im normally disappointed. There is frequently a mistake in the order or they are out of a menu item. I realize that this is a small, local restaurant, so this may be prone to happen, but they could play that up and announce that instead of customers expecting a full menu only to routinely find out otherwise. The dishes are expensive. The burger has a LOT of meat for my personal taste (8oz, I believe). My orders get messed up. Last I checked, drinks were by the can, not free refill by fountain.

I liked the casual atmosphere and service was great even though it was Saturday evening. The redfish was very tasty but could have been better seasoned. My spouse had the same comment on the grilled shrimp. Positive dining experience overall.

Great food and quaint setting. Never thought I would have pork cracklins with pimento cheese as an appetizer but it works here. Such a nice Saturday afternoon, of food and antique shopping next door.

Great wait staff. Unusually busy and all hands were on board! Menu was very unique, the pork shank and grits were perfect, as was the filet! Mahi mahi also cooked to perfection. You have to go here!
