The new location is nicely configured for tech users! However, the incorporation of the bagel concept is problematic. This is the 2nd negative review I have ever written but after 5 visits I felt compelled. The service is slow, the employees seem clueless at times, and the value of bagel products is weak. Most of my visit have been surreal and I often wondered if I was in an episode of PUNKED. Today I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich and was told that they were out of potato salad for my side. I came to find they put the potato salad in the sandwich (not part of the recipe) and it only had 2 little pieces of cold chicken. They did remake the sanwhich correctly without potato salad and it included chicken. At least this time it was hot as advertised. I go to caribou at least 100 times a year and I must say this location is a dissapointment.

Usually love this location however this morning after I ordered an Iced Americano moosed and only received five shots I asked the barista why it was short and she said they reduced iced drinks by a shot (no offer to double check)... however after calling THREE Caribous (yes, this is excessive but Ive been a regular at Caribou for a long time and I wanted to make sure I was correct before complaining) they all verified this was incorrect for the iced "o" drinks... what I ordered. The gentleman was extremely nice at the cashier and helped me out no problem!! That female barista this morning in the pink shirt and the brown caribou hat though needs some retraining not only on how to CORRECTLY make drinks but also how to CORRECTLY handle customer service.

This coffee shop in downtown White Bear recently remodeled and added an Einstein Bagel shop to their establishment. The coffee shop is now spacious and modern with a comfortable, roomy feel to it. I also like the "bagel bar" theyve added where you can pull up a barstool and eat/drink right at the bar. It is a very nice facility with friendly staff. There is also adequate parking in their parking lot which is accessible from either 2nd street (near Hwy 61) or from 4th Street (directly across from Pezzos). If you are looking for coffee and a bagel in downtown White Bear, then this is the place to go!

This was 5 stars, when it was just Caribou. The only reason for the second star is because I love the employees. This was my favorite place to go until the bagels were added, now a place that was once convenient & quick is slow & inconvenient. The sad thing is I used to go out of my way to go to this one because I absolutely loved it & everyone working there. Its way too slow now with the bagels. Unfortunately sometimes I now have to go to a non caribou coffee because its closer to work & Im not getting up 20 minutes earlier to stand in line. So sad.

Lots of food and merchandise options, attractive seating area, very good looking store. Friendly staff. Was great right up until I ran into something Ive never even heard of before, they were out of chai. When I hit Caribou I look forward to to either a chai latte or an iced chai. And my sons snowdrift drink tasted off as well. Looks are one thing, but you need to back it up. This place was tops in looks, but was one of the lowest in follow through. Hopefully it was just an off night fluke.

I enjoy the layout and atmosphere this location provides for studying. However, the customer service is very lackluster. Cash register is commonly unmanned causing 5min wait times before ordering (no lines). Other than management, employees are commonly neglectful of customers. Perhaps most off-putting for me was hearing employees yell at each other about who was going to assist customers at the register.

As a Caribou junky I visit often and always get my greating cards here as they are beautiful. I made a special trip to this location to pick up a card and a coffee. To my surprise found out no cards so I will visit another location. Since you are not full service I will go to other locations that are full service. Sorry but I wont be back the white bear lake location.

Service is really slow. 20 minute wait for your coffee at a fast food place? We used to be regulars and now weve been there 3 times since it opened. Was hoping it got better but it hasnt and I will continue to drive to the Starbucks down the road or other Caribous that dont have Einstein Bagels. I truly miss the old Caribou Coffee and the old staff that was there!

This is by far my favorite Caribou. Their coffees and chais are always made to my liking and I really enjoy their baked items. The setting is so great in the heart of downtown historic White Bear Lake and right net to the famed Cup and Cone eatery. Im headed there soon to get an ice cream cone and a nice latte. The patio is nice because it doesnt face highway 61.

Caribou in White Bear Lake is a great place for us to meet potential and current clients. After the renovation this place sparkles and is one of the nicest Caribou Coffees we have ever been in. The staff is incredibly friendly and the location is extremely convenient. The pumpkin pie latte is a seasonal favorite!

Fantastic store, fantastic staff. They are always happy and willing to help. I have never been to a more welcoming, happy feeling Caribou. Always my number one choice in places to go for coffee, it has a nice small town feel, and the employees are reall y nice to talk to and are genuine people.

Busy, super long wait for a Sunday morning. Watched barista who started making my drink walk away midway thru and complete several other tasks, for about two to three minutes. Thought she should have finished it and then done the other tasks instead of making me wait.

My husband needed coffee for volleyball tryouts today so we came into Caribou yesterday to put in the order ahead of time. We wanted it ready at 6:30 am in time for the 7:00 tryouts. Im still at Caribou waiting for the coffee. Very frustrating.
