We ate here for the first time. First of all the food was excellent, but thats the only good thing about this place! First we got the wrong order (they mixed up mine with the table next to us) then our "waitress" was no where to be found. Our table and the one next to us had to go up to the bar for 2 rounds of refills, not just one! When she finally showed up, I politely told her that we had to get our own drink refills and the food was mixed up. She flipped out, practically yelling at me, telling me she was short staffed and was in the kitchen making sure my food order was fixed. I asked her to speak to a manager, this is when she informed me that SHE was the manager!!! I was so appalled! I told her we were not entirely happy with our visit, but the food was good. She continued to chew me out and holler at me. I felt very attacked! I have NEVER been treated this way at a restaurant especially by a manager!!! After all the trouble she didnt even comp our drinks! I took the high road just to get her to calm down and shut up and told her it was okay and it was just a small misunderstanding between her and me. She still continued to defend herself saying she was "shocked that I had complained". My stance.... dont ask me how "everything is" if you dont want the dang answer! Wont go back to this branch, and I have already told a TON of people about this experience. One place being a reputable local bed and breakfast who will no doubt be spreading word on their terrible service.

We have been to Acapulco many times over the years and for the most part we have enjoyed it. Several months ago we went and the service and food were not nearly as good as in the past, but we thought they were just having a bad night. Then we had a coupon in the paper and we decided to give them another chance. We ordered a drink and then when we ordered dinner, we gave the waitress our coupon and she said it wasnt any any good because it was "Happy hour". The coupon didnt say any exclusions, so the waitress got the manager and she said that we could not use the coupon due to it being happy hour. I asked if I could just pay full price for the drink and use the coupon, but she wouldnt let us do this. The waitress seemed somewhat embarassed for the way the manager treated us, but we decided we would eat there anyway. It took forever to get the food, and then when it did come, my fajitas were much smaller than in the past and didnt have much flavor. My wifes food was cold and not very good. She took a couple of bites and bit into a sizable chunk of bone in with the meat. She didnt eat anymore and we left shortly after. We wont be going back.

Okay, I love to go out to eat and Mexican food is always a favorite of mine. So many people in Stillwater recommended this restaurant, and I was highly disappointed. We went 3 times and ordered different things...just in case, but it didnt help. -Their fish tacos were inedible and I couldnt even eat a whole one let-alone the whole plate. -The seafood chimichanga was the best thing we had there by far, but how can something taste bad when its fried and smothered in cheese? hehe. I was, however, disappointed with the quality of the seafood since it was obviously frozen and retained a chewiness fresh seafood doesnt have. -We also tried chicken quesadillas and plain quesadillas (just cheese). The cheese mixture had so much cumin in it, we couldnt eat it. I like cumin, but it was definitely too much of a good thing. The service was friendly and efficient, but the food was a disaster. Basically, if you want good Mexican food in Stillwater, youre better off making it yourself. This place is cheap, but inedible food is inedible no matter how cheap it it. Save your money!

So I have been to the Stillwater Acapulco quite a bit and Im not one to usually complain as I work in a restaurant and have been for years. Tonight they messed up my order again though and the first person I talked to tried to give me the old food that had been sitting there forever after I asked for it to be remade. The manager did fix it and was nice but something like this happens every time needless to say I will not be back I feel they have lost focus on these restaurants and became to laid back while places like chipotle are going to keep making tons of money because they have trained there staff correctly and have a warm clean inviting atmosphere which Acapulco does not. Heres an idea buy some new booths dust the place clean the floors and train your staff and if your going to have an open kitchen make sure its clean.

Went out for several birthdays within the family. Service was great, decor was nice with a giant fountain in the center of the room. The food however, was lacking. I ordered a soft-shell taco, a tostada and a burrito. The burrito came with literally a pound of ground beef in it, and although they claim it is cooked with onions, mine had no onions in it. The flavor of the beef was terrible, the texture and feel of it was just like dog food. A literal pound of dog-food in a tortilla and I wanted to send it back, but Im sure its their general crap recipe. After taking it home, and seasoning the beef properly, its not too bad.

My mom and I both ordered the seafood chimichanga and it was rather bland for what was in it. The cheese sauce was extremely thick and overall pretty salty. I ordered the fried ice cream for dessert and apparently my idea of a "large scoop of ice cream" and theirs differs significantly. It was also "warm" at best...nothing like it should have been. Our waitress, while kind, was relatively inattentive. Water glass was refillled once during our visit. Ill likely go back to give it another go, but it wont be anytime soon.

Every time I eat here I get the Shrimp Tacos and they taste great and have very authentic Mexican flavor. You get your food really fast. You can have cheep margaritas on the outdoor patio if you like or just drink $3 litter beers inside at the bar. The servers are very knowledgeable about the menu and specials and are always fast and prompt.I took my mom there for Mothers Day Brunch and they had a great assortment of American and Mexican cuisine. And they make waffles and pancakes to order, had a great time.

ITS MY FAVORITE ! The food is great, free chips and salsa, free desert on your Birthday. They offer huge mugs of tap beer at ridiculously low prices. They have tvs in the bar area so its great to watch sporting events. the main dining room is great for familys and during the summer you can sit outside on the patio. Thy also have specials, like currently Monday is 1.49 tacos , they are huge ! soft shell, hard shell, beef, chicken or for the vegetarians bean!
