This is easily my favorite local business in Northfield. The family that owns it is so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they consider their fantastic employees part of their family as well. The décor is eclectic and cozy, but the café is plenty big and has lots of seating. The food is SO good- their paninis are excellent (the St. Olaf is my favorite), and their desserts are addicting (get a slice of the flourless chocolate cake!). They also have a variety of wines, bottled beers, and one beer on tap (I THINK always from local breweries, but dont quote me on that). They have plenty of great specials and events as well, such as half-priced bottle of wine night and free movie night (they show a family film and a more adult one in the back of the restaurant every Friday). The place perfectly exemplifies the unique, warm community feel of Northfield.

Nice little cafe in Northfield. They have some good meal options and the chance to add beer or wine to a light lunch makes it a very nice spot for a relaxing meal. There is some outdoor setting - maybe enough for 8 people total. Since it sits right on the main drag of town in a row with other shops, there just isnt room for outdoor seating. They also have a nice selection of teas available and they do have some interesting specials so keep an eye out for those.

Spent some time here catching up with friends over coffee, wine, and dessert. All three were delicious! The cake is quite rich (and delicious). We got two pieces for the three of us and didnt finish them. They offer a variety of wines and any coffee-based drink I can think of (lattes, cappuccino, americano, etc). You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Friendly and thoughtful staff, locally-owned business!

The HideAway Coffeehouse is the best spot in Northfield to get food and coffee. They also have a nice beer and wine selection with very fair prices. They focus on great local prodcuts that are very fresh and delicious. My favorite food their has to be the panini sandwiches. The Ciabatta bread they use is so good & the flavor combinations are out of this world. If you have never been you have to check it out!

I love the HideAway!! This place is always so friendly with such an incredible atmosphere. The owners are so personable and inviting. The staff is upbeat and always willing to make a lasting impression. I love that the second generation of the Spauldings are always around and helping out. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking to sit back for a few minutes to a few hours. Thank you.

My husband and I had a good first impression and will probably return. The lighting was good. The atmosphere was inviting. The staff were friendly. The food was good. My husband thought the vegan wrap was a bit small for the price they charged but he liked it. Overall we liked our experience and will have no problem returning.
