I frequent Real Meal Deli (the Baker Building location) and I adore their soups. Always so robust and flavorful - and Im a tough critic when it comes to soup. Its hard to find a good soup that doesnt have overcooked meat and the beef barley soup at RMD has tender, juicy beef. I do agree with another reviewer that the wheat bread theyve been giving me lately has been dried out. Other than that I enjoy their sandwiched and soups!

RMD used to be far and away my favorite lunch spot in Minneapolis. Not a better sandwich to be found. Over the last few months, the wheat bread has been consistently stale. Almost seems like day old stuff. Still the ingredients are great, the staff is friendly, and the prices a pretty good. Maybe just lean white instead of wheat

I am enjoying my delicious 1/2 Greek sandwich and cup of garden veggie soup, which is tasty without being overly salty like so many soups. Good food for a good price!
