I did not think the ice creams were all that great. I did the 16 flavor platter, which includes all the flavors and I found a lot of the flavors to be very sour. It platter looks great in pictures but does not taste the best. My rating also reflects the customer service. There was a young girl working who does not know how to handle situations or come up with solutions. It was 80 degrees out and we waited an hour outside in line. We took my mom out for mothers day and one of the ice cream had alcohol. She asked for everyones ID which I understand. My mom who is 60 forgot hers and she stared at us blankly and said she cant serve us. I am disappointed because she provided zero alternatives for us other than to leave. I said well theres 8 of us, so its fine if my mom doesnt eat with us. She said nope she cant serve us. Then her grand idea was "well one of you can just order the champagne one on the side".... what difference does that make? We were about to leave then my sister goes "well cant we just switch out the alcohol with the non alcohol? and then the worker gives us a doofy smile and goes "certainly! thats what we do in situations like this" like what?? then why didnt you suggest that? The worker acted as if those were her words when realistically we were about to walk out the door until my sister said that. Again, I totally understand the ID thing. Im not upset about that. I am upset that we waited an hour in the sun and the worker had a poor attitude and provided us no substitution or alternatives. We were the only ones that were paying $60 for ice cream and she simply refused our service without options.

It was a neat experience. Came with a group around 9pm a small lined wrapped outside with about 4 people working in the back. It seemed slow they way they ran their service where it could flow a lot better. I cant tell you what warrants all the other negative reviews. I would say the staff could give off a unhappy feeling. Main group seemed around 20s+ some music and a neat but small atmosphere. There was about 15 - 20 flavors I had a Thai tea half scoop for $3. Which I thought was fine, it tasted alright. But nothing extraordinary for $3. Ill probably stick with Izzys in Minneapolis next time. Atmosphere: 4 Crowded, medium level noise uncomfortable seating Cleanliness: 5 Not bad Service: 3 Not the right staff or getting late.... Food Quality: 3 unique, but nothing special. Stars 3.75. Indifferent, wouldnt go out of my way to visit again.

The ice cream was fine, but over priced. The service is why it gets one star. I dont expect much. Ive worked food service. Its had. Ive even worked baskin robbins. But I felt ignored. I got charged near double what I was expecting because I didnt know two flavors in one scoop got charged separate (not common many other places Ive been). I even asked about it and mentioned that this was my first time at this store. When I was later rung up and I mentioned this I basically got blown off. I also got to stand in front of the register like a second class citizen while the guy behind me got to pay. So. Yeah. No. Dont go here. Sebastian Joes is just a few blocks over. Go there instead. Also, ice cream wise fine is not a great description. I love ice cream. I love ice cream a lot. Fine is the kind of description I give Dairy Queen.

A MUST STOP if youre in the area. One of the best scoops of ice cream I have ever had... and this Wisconsin girl doesnt say that lightly! I had a single scoop cone of the original milk jam flavor which is caramelized goats milk and other condensed milks. It was sweet, and creamy, and delicious. It was hard to choose a flavor because everything one there menu looked delicious! Black chocolate ice cream, champagne ice cream, and ice cream stuffed donuts are a few selections that stood out to me, but they have a variety of delicious treats! If you are stopping by Milk Jam, it can be a bit tricky to find. There is no words on their sign, youll just have to watch for their logo! Its a cute, small, little location, and there may be a bit of a wait, but its so worth it!

Let me start by saying I am kind of a sweets snob. Seriously though OMG!!!!! BEST in the twin cities for sure. I typically prefer gelato but this ice cream is super fresh the flavors are unique and extremely rich. The flavor combinations appeal to all ages and tastes. There is actually something for everyone and 2 super nice cute guys to serve it up. Try the grandmas blueberry crumble evv and poppin bottles. They also have ice cream cakes pies bars sandwiches drunken floats and the infamous jam bun. I have read the other reviews and I have always been able to park rite in front and walk straight in. I will say that uptown does get extremely busy on the weekends and anywhere worth being is not going to be easy to get into.

The interesting flavors are 5 star worthy. The qualities like creaminess or feel were good (in line w/ B&Js) but not extraordinary so I say thats worth a 4. Everything else craters from here. Standing in the long line to place my order was unpleasant. 2 stars Accommodations were nonexistent/occupied so 1 star because there was at least some shelter while I placed my order. $25+ for 2 pints to go w/ tip. 2 stars. . Parking would have been okay if I didnt mind risking getting towed or driving around for 20 minutes. 2 stars. Stupid money goes here to die. Check it off your list if you have to but dont say you didnt know better.

When I saw this place had under 5 stars on Google Reviews, I knew it was finally time to contribute my high praises. This is hands-down some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Ive never gone wrong with any flavor here, but the plain "Milk Jam" ice cream is now one of my top comfort foods. Plus, they have vegan options (which are just as delicious!) Personally, I find the menu easy to understand, the service to be consistently friendly, and the prices to be requisite with the quality. It isnt the place to go if you want a 2 minute wait. Therell be a line, but its always worth the wait!

Great ice cream thats not soft serve, but not custard. I have loved every flavor Ive tried there. The waka flocka flakes is my favorite. Cashew outside is 5 out of 5 stars, the Black (chocolate) is THE BEST for when youre in a serious mood for chocolate and nothing but that. I even liked the Thai Tea, though I typically dont like tea flavored things. It wasnt too sweet, but has a unique flavor. The Milkjam was a great flavor thats not as boring as plain vanilla. I also had the Amy Klobuchar, which is like girlscout samoa cookies with ice cream, I loved that too! I cant wait to go back!

In my opinion, best ice cream in the twin cities. I used to love Sebastian Joes but since becoming vegan, I hadnt found vegan ice cream that was up to par. Their vegan ice cream is better than all of the non-vegan options I have had and my friends give equally good reviews for the non-vegan ice cream at milkjam. My first time here, a friend and I walked and ate our ice cream and our conversation centered on how delicious the ice cream was for a solid 10 minutes. Be prepared for a decent wait outdoors or arrive when they open (when they are slower). Highly recommended.
