DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS RESTAURANT! If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. Im not usually one to complain, but the service at this restaurant is atrocious. After giving them three chances to make up for themselves on three different occasions, hoping that I had just caught them on a bad day, I have concluded that the staff at this restaurant are either incompetent, simply just dont care about their job or both. Which is sad, because I usually love ihop with their massive omelets and crepes and this is by far the closest one to my house. Not only did they completely screw up my order on all three occasions, each time I waited for over an hour to get my food, and it was not busy at all. I continued to get passed off from one server to another causing me to have to repeat my order again and again. This time I even tried simply calling ahead to place a to go order; whoever answered the phone said that a server would be right with me. Didnt place me on hold just sat the phone down so I could hear them just chatting in the background instead helping customers. 40min I waited on the phone before I decided to just drive up there. I left the call open on my way just to see if they would ever get back to me. Its now been over an hour and a half, just now getting my food, and yet I am still connected waiting for someone to return. Obviously I have since hung up. Out of curiosity I tried calling them again 2hrs later after venting to a friend and the line was still busy, probably never hung up from my original phone call. I will never come back to this restaurant again. Guess I will just have to find another ihop, and I would recommend to anyone, they should do the same.

This is our 2nd time coming here, the first time we waited 1.5 hours for an omelet and pancakes. The first visits manager was very apologetic and asked us to please give them a second chance, we regret that we did. The second visit was horrible. We waited about 45mins for an omelet and pancakes and a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was for my 1.5 year old son, the sandwich was cold and the cheese was not melted. Our server brought us the wrong food or didnt bring food at all, kept bringing drinks we didnt ask for, the tables were disgusting when we were seated. The manager spoke to us saying they would take the grilled cheese off and never did. When we received our bill they tried charging us for things we never ordered. Love IHOP in general but I hope this place goes out of business as it is terrible and we will never eat there again. If you read this and still choose to go here, you are gambling with your meal.

Horrible from beginning to end. Waitress messed up our order atleast 5 times. Messed up drinks twice. Brought 2 of 3 kids their food while my 3 year sat waiting 10 min for his food. Then me and my husband had to wait til everybody was done eating to get our food and ended up taking it to go. The waitress took off drinks for all her errors and then when we asked her to split the bill like we asked in the beginning she ADDED the drinks back on. When i told her she was wrong for that she got an attitude and starting arguing with me. I told her move since she was standing in my way to leave and she wouldnt. She threatened that if she wasnt on the job she would whoop my ass in the parking lot. Followed us out side running her mouth when i told her i know the manager she said she didnt care about her job and blah blah blah. Got home and both our orders were wrong anyway. Never again.

I give this place a 2 star rating.. Because.. Its sooooooo expensive to eat here! We had a coupon for " Buy 1 meal and 2 beverages, get another meal for $.0.99." I didnt look at the prices at home, because I figured.. Its a IHOP.. Things are normally $6-$11 for breakfast, right? The lowest beverage was $3.09! This was at 7pm on a Fri night. We got breakfast. I had the meal chicken (strips) & waffles, which cost $12.49. My boyfriend had Chicken fried steak for $13.49. Sure I could have chosen a cheaper meal, but I gotta tell ya, almost everything was on the $11-$13 range. IF I HAD KIDS, this would have been a good deal, Kids eat free, weeknights 4-9 pm I think? Just want others to be forewarned on the prices, is all. I rarely give poor reviews, but this one made me irritated. Picture is of what they had on the stand, on the table, May 2017.

1 waitress who did a GREAT job with what she has to work with. This location is SOo cheap that on a Friday night they had 1 waitress and 1 cook. By the time we were ready to leave there were 6 tables occupied and people waiting to pay and to be seated. I paid for a $62.00 meal with a $100 bill. She didnt have the cash available to make change so she called the manager about it. He told her to run across to Little Caesars to get break the $100 bill. Who does that?!?! She did what she was told (remember there are 6 seated tables) but they didnt have the change. We felt so sorry for her. We couldnt believe a manager would operate a business like this. She mentioned this is how its staffed every night of the week because its slow in the evening after 8:00. No wonder, I wouldnt return after seeing how this restaurant is ran, either.

Im not sure which location generated the negative reviews, but I doubt it could have been the Coon Rapids or Maplewood locations. Weve been eating at those locations for the past several years and only ever had the most minor of complaints, if any. The Colorado Omelet is simply amazing and usually gives me 2 servings if I order the side of pancakes instead of toast. Its easily the equal of an omelet from Keys Restaurant, and thats saying a lot. The coffee is excellent and the orange juice always tastes fresh as well. I wouldnt necessarily promote their dinner menu as being superior to other restaurants that specialize in dinner offerings, but weve usually been quite satisfied with the quality of the food overall. As a matter of fact, Im about due for my Colorado omelet fix about right now.

Much like every other place, they have their good days and they have their bad days. I dont come early on the weekends for breakfast much until 12-1 because there are just people pouring in and the waiters are just running around everywhere. You can tell when theyre in a bad mood which greatly effects their service. Most of the time theyre very nice and pleasant, only on the weekdays Ive noticed. Food is great with awesome portions. Mostly good vibes. The kitchen is a little loud, but its a given. Its the kitchen, lol. The location is close to home which I love. Like I said, every place has their good days and bad days. Hopefully if you get a bad service, you would still come back next time.

My first clue should have been the lady seated next to me was swatting a fly... The waitress was pleasant enough in her dirty apron, but the highchair she brought for my grandson was the filthiest Id ever seen. I asked her to wipe it down before I put him in it. She brought me a rag and left! Now the food ... Under cooked crêpes, cold hash browns, cold sausage. The only thing hot on my plate were the eggs, over easy, not scrambled like I ordered, she never came back. Needless to say my grandson is still adorable covered in egg yolk. Never again! Disgusting place ... Dont go there!
