On the whole o.k. I noted other reviews about lack of care for the customer and experienced that only once. I stood waiting at the front about five minutes not seeing any staff. Then thinking that perhaps my companion was already seated I went to the back of the restaurant. She was not there, so I stood helplessly for another three or four minutes. The headwaitress descended on me with the information that I was supposed to wait in front and then herded me back to the front while she collected menus to again herd me forward to the back. In the three other times I have been there service has been fine.

This small restaurant inside Festival Foods should not be judge by its location because its food is fresh, inventive and reasonably priced. I tried and enthusiastically recommend the Grecian Omelet if you are a fan of the savory with its filling of feta cheese, gyro meat, spinach and tomatoes. Or for the sweeter side, the fruit crepe is to die for since it is stuffed with a full banana, strawberries, caramelized apple slices, fresh lingon berries and raspberry jam. Give it a shot, you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I just found this wonderful restaurant! I highly recommend the Danish salmon sandwich. It is served open face with cooked vegetables and a dill cream sauce on the side. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were fresh and beautiful. My husband had the Norwegian chicken lefse melt and the chicken dumpling soup and they were amazing!

Our old Church Circle group meets there on a semi-regular basis, and it is great! Friendly, but not invasive servers, great food and pleasant atmosphere make it an event to look forward to with good friends! I think it is time to meet again (Ann)!!

Home away from home. I love the lefse entrees served at the taste of scandinavia. They are flavorful and delicious. I would recommend this place to my friends, my parents, and even my grandparents. Food to satisfy all generations. Its a must try!

Apart of Festival Foods grocery store and feels like it is treated as such in how it looks and is run. Food is fine, service is fine, experience is very lacking. The Scandinavian theme for the food is interesting.

To say they are welcoming would be an understatement. They always seem so happy to see you, and genuinely want to provide you with an enjoyable experience. And the food is great. Highly recommend.

The manager used a dirty spoon from the table next to us to remove the butter from my sons pancake. After reporting it still nothing was done to compensate.

Irs a pretty interesting vibe. First grocery store diner Ive ever been to. Food is tasty, a sort of Minnesota flair to a Perkins or a Dennys.

Small portions. Very plain food. If you want a great breakfast, drive 7 minutes south to Jensens in Burnsville.
