Stopped in over the weekend for dinner with my family. My wife loves the bison bites in the fondue at Swirl, so she decided to try the 8 oz Bison steak. After our server specifically told her not to order the Bison anything more than medium (which she then ordered medium) because it will get too tough, the steak came out well done. No pink to be found anywhere. Asking the server about this, he agreed the steak was well done rather than medium. I told him we had kids with so my wife didnt want to wait for another steak (cook time had already pushed our limit with the kids), so I expected a discount, because it the steak was just plain bad. When I got my bill, I received a $10 discount off her $24 plate. My wife had ate maybe half of the steak. Although I could have pushed it further, I was surprised the discount was only $10 when she didnt even eat the meal they cooked wrong in the first place. Im very disappointed in the awareness of the staff and standing by the food they prepared. Common sense would have been to comp her entire plate since she decided to try to eat it after the cooking error and still only finished a small portion. On the positive side, my burger was fantastic and our previous visits have always been good. Just keep it simple while at The Current and leave the steak for the adjoining fine dining room or fondue at Swirl.

Just stopped at the Current for Bloody Marys and a light lunch. We waiting so long just for a Bloody Mary that we changed our minds about the light lunch. We were so looking forward to a nice Bloody Mary and beer chaser. What a disappointment! After waiting way to long we received our Bloodys with not a single condiment along with it. Not an olive, not a pickle, not a beef stick. The beer chaser was warm by the time we got it as if it sat at the bar while they figure out where to get some mix for the Bloody Marys. Youd think theyd be more prepared and accommodating given the area theyre located. Well definitely find another place along our drive to stop for a Bloody from now on.

Great food but horrible service. Our table of 9 (25 year olds) was seated right away, but we were left without a server for 15 minutes. The waiter that finnaly showed up and brought us plastic cups simmiler to the ones the three year old at the table accross was using, while the adults used real glassware. Our soup (seafood chowder), while exelent, came after most of our group had finished their meal. Throughout the entire dining experience we saw the tables waiter 2times and about 3 other servers, was asked if we had all of our food and had 3 bills wrong. While this may have been an off day for the currents team, be weary of what may be.

While visiting the area for the weekend we stop at this place to have a light lunch that actually turned to be a great experience. Our server Todd was very friendly and full of suggestions, the cocktails where great and the food was good along with a good atmosphere and friendly people. Overall the experience was good and the prices where just right. This is a good place to visit while in the area.

We made a reservation with the family and we got there give min early its now ten min past our reservation and we are with my handicap mother in law. Service sucked whats the point of the reservation and thanksgiving of all days not even a complimentary drink. Dont bother with the again house inn. Elite stuck up and not prepared.

Decent burgers, terrible management and atmosphere. Brought a group of 10 for $5 burger & fries night, a Monday, and after a long wait and drinks served, was told the special didnt apply savor was a holiday - Labor Day. There was an incredibly loud, vulgar, kinda scarry-acting drunk at the bar and no one addressed it.

Love being treated like everyone else. Everyone is greated with a smile. Seem to honestly care about your experience. I so miss by far your best bartender Ryan. Can honestly day dont go as much since he no longer workers there. I do enjoy your other employees. He had a gift...how to make anyones day a better one.

Good solid restaurant in Afton, and a good excuse to visit. The views by the river at the marina are beautiful. Service was very friendly when we visited. A bit more experience prices for food than Woodbury but also less traffic so its reasonably justified. Good variety in the menu. Definitely check it out!

3 staff passed us at hostess station telling us someone would be with us in a minute. 8 minutes later we were still waiting to be seated...we left. Really was not that busy and should not have taken so long. Drove up the road to Lymberyard Pub...greeted and seated right away :-)
