I was originally pleased with this restaurant. Not so much anymore. I ordered a spread for a surprise baby shower at my job. They were very accommodating for my request to have everything delivered by 11am, even though they didnt open until 11am. I was grateful for their willingness to oblige our party schedule. The driver arrived on time and the food was mostly good. The Mexican pizza wasnt well liked but the others got good reviews from the attendees. My real problem with this company came a little later when it was time to submit my expense report. When I called Sportsmans to ask them for a copy of my credit card reciept I was told that they dont keep those. Excuse me??? They dont keep those!!!??? What kind of business doesnt keep financial transaction records????? So, Im left with having to find other means with which to submit my expense report. I recognize my part in this, but at the same time... they should be able to call up their credit card transactions with the stroke of a mouse!

Having moved to the area recently and placed more than a few orders from here, I have some mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, when theyre one point, theyre fantastic. The pizza can be wonderfully flavorful, perfectly sauced, well topped, and as fast as anyone else in the business. When theyre having off nights, however, its easily the worst pizza Ive ever had. Our first order, for example, there was so much sauce on the pie that the cheese and toppings would simply slide off. Another order was overdone to the point we ended up making sandwiches instead. While its certainly been more hits than misses for me, the biggest reason I keep coming back is the fantastically friendly staff. Ive never walked out of the place not feeling well attended to, respected, and welcome. That will always earn my business, despite a few hiccups along the way.

First complaint ever, ordered usual pizza received it burnt on the bottom, wings not fully cooked. Called to complain was told pizza had to be cooked that way, and wings need to be cooked that long to be done......told her that would be great if they were actually cooked. Add insult to 30.00 food plus 5.00 pick up tip, they would deliver another when they had time. 20 year loyal customer very unhappy!

Who dont just LOVE the Downriver Famous Pizza Rolls like no other around town. Many selection of these made to order n you can load in the goodies. The owner n his crew super friendly folks,, get them super Pizza Pie and find special deals on there website, ,,, this long time business is always a winner just keep thinking PIZZA ROLLS

Ive been enjoying Sportsmans for years, now. Their pizza rolls are simply the best- always the right portion of ingredients, and ridiculously greasy (which comes from the great, quality pepperoni.) They have a wide variety of specialty combinations that are really unique and delicious, too!

Great pizza, better owner. We have watched him work with many teens and young adults. Even when he has to correct them, he does it in a respectful and constructive manner. He also knows his customers and really cares about them. An awesome place to do business!

While i lived in Wyandotte for 4 years I feasted on their food. Pizza rolls and deep dish were very tasty. The owner was always very friendly and welcoming when I did choose to pick up my pizza. Only problem is if you do the parking is sorta limited.

Pizza rolls!!! I order delivery from this place at least once a week! Brick oven pizzas are great, always fresh an hot when delivered to my house. On occasion delivery drivers have a hard time finding my house.

Absolutely amazing pizza plus the nicest service Ive ever had. Owner discounted their party pizzas for me because I ordered them for my rehearsal dinner for my wedding. Never tried a pizza I disliked either!

The manager is to good for my business. Over a hour and half to get a salad. When I called he said their slammed and my will be on its way shortly. He couldnt apologize. Wow
