This place rocks. Pizzeria Biga has been open for I guess a couple months now, and we always wanted to go in, but after living in Royal Oak for a couple years were a bit skeptical about new restaurants, so it took us a few months to try it out. What a waste of a few months! *The vibe* is wicked fun, they had 8-10 bright colored race car prints from a local artist I saw on 1xRun (So thats how they all sold out so fast!). The patio looks great as well, I even dont mind being so close to the trains, but I guess Im just deaf to them now. Theres a great little bar there that looks like it would be perfect for sipping some Campari before dinner or after or both. *The food* was really great too, they have choose your own meats & cheese platter for antipasto (first time? go with the drunken goat), and a colorful selection of pizzas. We had this excellent rosemary potato pizza that is going to taste exceptional once the snow starts to pile up outside. *The Service* was fast and fun, everyone really seemed to be enjoying themselves and happy to be working there. Perhaps thats a silly thing to notice, but it just really translates to a better overall experience. *The Price* was great for what you got, I think we clocked a full belly of apps and pizza plus a bottle of wine for 2 at around $21 pre-tip. Not bad at all! Thats what we typically pay for carry out and a bottle of chuck... Overall great time, I hope it stays on-point as it ages. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Horrible - got a carry out - took forever for the person to get the order then still didnt get it right - but would have been forgiven if food was good - meh at best - brussell sprouts mushy - seemed like they were boiled and then put near the fire - no flavor and way overpriced for very small amount (although they were not so good so there was left overs!) - margarita pizza very little cheese or basil - literally watery pools on the pizza - everything cold - and the crust was so-so,. Would not return or get another carry out - called to tell them about order mix- up and the person was very condescending - can find better pizza and better service in the frozen food section of my grocery store. Next time will go to Amiccis in Berkley,

My boyfriend says the pizza wasnt the best. Motor City Brewing Works is much better. Shrimp pesto pasta was amazing. Calamari was also a very good appetizer. Lost my appetite when I noticed the servers rolling silverware in the dining room without gloves. I immediately alerted my server about it- considering it is against the health code and disgusting. She told the servers to put on gloves and after five minutes they took them off, completely ignoring her. They began rolling the silverware with their dirty hands again, after touching used food plates from other tables, counter tops, etc. If they are willing to do this in front of the entire restaurant, it makes me question the cleanliness of the back of the house. Yuck!

I ordered and was told that the wait was 5 min. As I waited, I noticed after some time that people who ordered after me and others were getting their food. After waiting about 30 min, I gave the guys my name. They still continued to serve people who ordered after me! Its not like I had a large order either, I would have understood the wait. I literally ordered 1 pepperoni pizza. After 40 min wait, they still had not served me and my lunch break was over. After waiting for 40 min I left with no food and no apologies.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My brother and I sat outside on the patio by the street. We go to our seats which are cheap plastic and look like they were from the dollar store. The outside was dirty and had food all over the place. The food was over priced and bland with little to no taste. I would say never go to this place the owner is cheap and does not care about his customers (spilt plate charge) avoid this place.

Few restaurants try so hard at being the vision they need to be legit. The atmosphere including the old red meat slicer transports you from Detroit to a land where a young swarthy clientele entertains themselves to great hip music and wonderful libations. The food is subtle and thoughtful, combining just the right authentic regional ingredients. Enjoy your evening because a meal will just not be enough time to absorb the experience.

Awesome food, amazing ambiance. My girlfriend and I ate here and then broke up a week later. I barely remember her, but I do remember how much I liked it here. I will never bring another girlfriend here though. Just chicks I bang on the side. I think its cursed. Or I might be crazy. Do I sound crazy? Oh man this review is going off the rails. (jokes aside, I really do love this place and their pizza)

Restaurant wasnt open when we got there 30 minutes after posted hours. We had to call on the phone and have them unlock the door to let us in. Even though it was 30 minutes past time to open the staff didnt seem ready (or interested for that matter) for our business. Food was OK but weve had better brick oven pizzas from other places. Sorry guys - gotta step up your game.

This is the best restaurant we have been to in years! Our server was very attentive and kind and the food was incredible. Really the best pizza weve ever had - there were 7 of us and we all got different kinds of pizza and salad and shared them. Yes it gets a bit noisy but the building is so cool architecturally that makes up for it. Cant wait to go back!

We come here every couple of months. The pizzas are great and definitely why you come here. I particularly love the Brussels sprouts pizza. The beer selection is smaller than some places but all craft and really will chosen. You can occasionally find whales, like KBS or Bourbon County. Prices are OK. Service is always pretty good. The patio is very nice.

8 dollar pizzas for 15-16 bucks. Duck prociutto pizza was ok, but small. Wait staff could have elaborated, especially since we were the only ones in there. (Please better explain the difference between red and white pizzas). Avoid the calamari. Venue was neat/interesting (train went by while we were eating). Happy hour beer specials were good.

Went to the outlet in the airport. Out of two flavors of gelato and worst service I have received in some time. Waited 10 minutes for gelato after advertising they can make a 90 second pizza and had to go back to the kitchen to ask for the gelato. They brought it up, forgot spoons and then said "have a nice life". Terrible!

There are millions of places to find a great pizza, this is not one. I suggest Supinos, Two Guys from Italy and so on. This place thinks they are a Bentley with the prices and attitudes but need a major reality check. Nothing about this place is worth spending your hard earned money. Id rather buy a hot and ready.
