I am very disappointed, I stop at this Meijers almost every night after work and tonight I came in and went to the service desk to reload a card. I get up there and the associate named Gabrielle stated to her coworker/friend "God, I just wanna go smoke a cigarette." She was instantly irritated when she saw me and had to come back around the counter to help me while her smoking partner stood behind me waiting for her to do her job. The whole time she had an attitude and talked down to me like I was nothing but an inconvenience. When I walked away I said I was sorry for keeping her from her cigarette and told her to have a good night. She replies in the most snide condescending voice "Ok, thanks, yup have a good night". Im sorry Meijers, I just got out of work, on my way home and I dont need some rude, inexperienced, unprofessional little girl on the verge of a nicotine fit treating me like garbage. Upper management really needs to reevaluate who they are hiring and having run their service desk. So many of the employees there look like they just rolled out of bed and came to work. Very unprofessional individuals working there. Maybe I will find a new store to stop at daily. Needed to vent!!!

Horrible customer service! I shop here 1-2 days a week and will not be going back after the experience I had today. Me and 3 other customers were waiting for the hot deli items while 2 female workers were present. One lady was helping another customer in the cold cuts while Theresa T. walked by us 6-7 times, cleaned ovens and chatted it up with some friends. Completely ignored us for 10 minutes until another guy came over and finally helped. She then proceeded to act very irritated that she was even working while she rang up my items, didnt tell me my total and threw my receipt down and walked away. WOW! I went to complain to a manager and asked Greg to help me find one...he looked super confused and walked me over by the customer serve desk and told me to knock on the managers door. REALLY? So pathetic. I made my complaint to Greg which said nothing but stared at me blankly and I left. So unprofessional and rude. Will not return.

the worst if you are shopping at night which I like to do to say out of the crowd I was standing in line Friday night at 10 pm there was one in front of me and one on getting rung up. I was patiently waiting and about 10 minutes after standing there the cashier tells the lady in front of me that she is the last one the light was on when I stood there too and then do they open up another line oh yes for 12 and under items hello I dont shop to pack up my own stuff especially when I purchase 250.00 worth of merchandise each week out of the Meijer stores I had to go pack up my stuff if bad enough first we have to collect it then pack it up and then bring it home and unpack it so if this is how meijers which prices are not the lowest wants to deal then fine its Kroger for me unless I have 12 or less items!!!! I dont want to ring up my own items that is not my idea of cost savings.

Meijer would be the store I shop at most. Much better than Walmart in White Lake! Its cleaner, less congested, and registers have shorter lines. Customer Service usually doesnt have long lines, either. They have low prices, offer price matches, double coupons 50 cents and under, and they also have a program called Mperks that offers online coupons. Have run into a few staff that were rude, but most are friendly. Their staff has knowledge of their store and departments. If they dont know the answer, they will call someone to get the answer you need! I had a manager walk around for 10 minutes to help me find blinds (which by the way they dont carry any more... lol). If you cant find a staff member, they have phones in every department. These phones contact you with someone from the department or a manager so they can help you.

I have to really wonder what the Hell is Wrong with the Loss Prevention ppl in this store. They are Wanna be Policeman. Some of the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL ppl I have Ever seen. Putting their hands on ppl going through their personal effects. If you dont actually leave the store with merchandise it doesnt matter God forbid you have things on your mind and forget something under your cart but still dont leave store with it they just ASSUME your stealing and thats just wrong. I have spent so much money(ALOT) in this store over the years. No more! I will go to Wal-Mart over Meijer´s any day from now on. OH BTW...Hire some trained staff Meijers.

I hate this location. I avoid it as much as I possibly can. The lines are always long. it takes forever to check out, even with the self serve checkouts open. If you didnt know any better based on the people that shop there you would think it was a Wal-Mart. Also the people who shop there have no idea what personal space means. In the checkout lines they will stand as close to you as possible like it will make the line move faster. This is not based on one experience, its based on several visits it happens every time. sometimes, for a bonus you might even hear people threatening to beat their kids later or yelling at each other.

Besides the ludicrous driveway going to the store, this is my Meijer of choice in the area. It is not as busy as the Meijer closer to Pontiac and everything is spotless. The gas station shares the same parking lot as well, which is great. I really like the fact that there is a traffic light on exiting, except for the fact that there is no left turn out of the huge driveway exit. MPerks is always a hit and I saved over a thousand dollars last year in coupons and discounts. Make sure to use the Meijer app to get the most out of your trips for coupons, weekly adds, and a shopping list.

The fact that they still sell live fish is barbaric because they dont know own what the hell theyre doing. Saw a container of dead fish sitting out next to the tanks with a live tadpole mixed in with the rotting corpses. They told me they flush them down the toilet because they believe tadpoles kill their fish. Yeah sure, tiny herbivore (mostly) tadpoles killed your Oscars cichlids. Nope, probably bad water quality!!! Plus you cant mute the uscans. I certainly prefer kroger to that flourescent, animal abusing trash heap

This has to be the worse Meijer store in Michigan. Never enough check-out lanes, most cashiers are sooooo slow,. Theres an elderly man who works his butt off and they put him in an express lane, while you have an 18year old slower than molasses in a regular lane- go figure. Higher some people that want to work. Management is horrible at this store, as is the deli, and they never have enough stock. Bring over the manager from the Auburn Hills or Waterford locations! This has been going on for too long!
