We have been enjoying Sams food for over 20 years - - that is until last night! We got a take out order and were very disappointed because the food was terrible. My Manicotti was dried out and burned to the bottom of the aluminum pan. My husbands Italian Sausage Bake was also dried out with little tiny Italian sausage chips (not pieces of sausage) and the Samaritos were cold with very little sauce provided. I called the restaurant to complain and was told that they would make us a new order, but we would have to get dressed again (it was close to !0:00 PM!) and drive back up there. I offered to send them a cell phone picture of the food, but was again told that all they could do was recook us some new entrees that night. Both of us were VERY disappointed and Sams just lost some 20 year loyal patrons because we wont be going back again!!!

Ive only been here once and maybe this isnt a fair review. It was pretty cold in the restaurant and we ended up with a server who had only been there for a week, which isnt necessarily a bad thing except she constant kept saying she didnt know the answers to our questions instead of going and asking. The food took so long to come out even though they werent that busy. The soup was interesting to say the least. On the plus side, all of the main dishes were great and the pricing seemed fair. I probably wouldnt go back as its a bit of a drive for okay service and food.

Great food and great service. They have a great selection of Italian dishes, pizza, and sandwiches. Four of us ate here. We each tried something different and every dish was delicious. The soups are obviously homemade and the balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing was really tasty. Dont forget to get the Samaritos, theyre deep fried bread stick pieces with their meat sauce on the side to dip them in. Those are really good as well. Do yourself a favor eat here. You wont be disappointed.

Ordered pizza and bread sticks on our first visit. Pizza was very good. Bread sticks were ok, probably wouldnt order them again. The service was very good. We had 3 different people attend to us, Im not sure if thats how it always works, but we had no issues.

Great food and great service! My family loves their pizza, salad and samaritos! Weve been to two parties in the banquet room, and theyve always been very attentive and met every request with a friendly smile. Highly recommend!!

I love it here! The is ALWAYS great! I must say the pop tastes just a little off at times. BUT, everything else is amazing! The Samoritos are a must, if you come. Ask for their cream cheese dip and with them... its heavenly!

Great value, friendly staff, excellent service, solid food, good portions, had Italian sausage and angel hair pasta, full order was to much to eat. Miranda was a superior waitress! ! Would recommended

The decor may not be the best, but the food makes up for it in spades. They have the best lasagna around. I also love their Gnocchi dish. Good service too, waitresses are friendly.

Very bad service we sat down was there 25 mins never seen a waitress. Other people walked in after us they were there 5 mins and got served . Never step foot in there again

Best little hide away restaurant. The pizza is the best in Rankin Michigan and surrounding aeras. A must stop for a great meal at a great price.
