Understaffed, ridiculous prices, terrible product selections, shopping carts all over the parking lot taking up parking spaces, when you tell the employees about the carts they say someone will move them but they never do, the fruit selections are horrible! I was getting seedless white grapes and I found a large live spider directly on the grapes I was about to put in my shopping bag! I informed 3 different Meijers employees but nothing was done about it. Also, the staff at this location are very unprofessional! One employee was sitting on a bench in front of the registers texting on his phone in front of all the customers while another employee was randomly wandering around the store doing nothing and looking like a zombie from the walking dead, Needless to say I will not be shopping here again!

Very disappointed, I go to Meijer all the time and many locations. Throughout the store there was merchandise knocked over and on the ground. Employees on the floor were rare and seemed bothered that we were shopping. There were a group of young men (maybe older teens) who were riding bikes and skateboards around the entire store for at least twenty minutes that we were aware of, and nobody stopped them. And at 9:30pm when we were ready to check out, there was only one cashier lane open, which had a long line and forced a majority of customers to have to self check out.

I have been in other Meijer stores but this had to be the worse store I have ever been in. The floors were filthy, you could smell fish from a good distance away and dont bother asking for help, cant find anyone. That was just the inside.. Now lets go outside, litter all over the parking lot, carts scattered everywhere and seagull feathers and seagulls dive bombing you while loading the car. I now call it the "Ghetto Meijer". Will not step foot in this store again.. I might come out with some sort of mite. I should call the health department.

We wonder why America cant eat healthy and we have an obesity problem! I had to take all this nasty lettuce out of my salad which says sell by December 15th and today is the 14th and I purchased this yesterday. Why do I have to purchase the dressing for $0.50 separately when dressing should come with the salad? How come I can stand for 20 minutes without even getting greeted at your hot deli section? Can you please pay your workers a little more because theyre worth it and maybe hire some competent people who have common sense.

Worst shopping experience ever at this location. Had some problems with coupons and the manager was SOOOOOO unprofessional and rude to the max. She was so UNHAPPY and HATED that I was using coupons. She clearly stated that she hates coupon and was yelling at me with other customers nearby. I was speechless when she started yelling at me. Telling me to go to a "regular checkout lane for this kind of things". I told her theres only two lanes open and the line is too long. The manager and cashier needs to be retrain.

Produce is usually well stocked. Good international products selection in grocery department. Housewares department has good foundation with fundamental needs and name brands available. Hardware, automotive and electrical departments have a good selection of the basics for emergencies. Many staff are long time employees and are very helpful. Open 24 hours with limited hours on some holidays. Department layout is dated compared with most other Meier stores.

I was surprised that not all Meijer locations are created equal, at least not as far as price goes. This location has far more yellow tag sales than the one I used to live near in Royal Oak, MI. The staff was so friendly that I thought they were making sure I wasnt a shop lifter but that wasnt the case. They are just nicer on this side of town. Keep up the good work!

Ive shopped at the store for many years, but sure wish that they would get some fresh produce in once in a while. Theres regularly fruit flies and most of the produce is bruised and about to go bad. Very often I find they just put fresher produce on top of the stuff that needs to be thrown away and because of that I wind up making two stops, which is inconvenient.

This Meijer is always a great example of retail done wrong. Rude employees, out of stock merchandise, lack of cashiers, and broken bottle returns are the norm here. Only reason to go here is for late night shopping. The two Schoenherr Kroger are much better grocery options. There are good Meijer stores, this one is just poorly managed.

I love this Meijer ! Ive been going here for years despite me moving further away. Ive gone to other ones and it just doesnt feel the same. This location always has what I need. Some of the best produce in a non-specialized grocery store chain and has great deals and enough staff to accommodate their customers.

The store wasnt the tidiest, the meat selection was lacking, maybe because it was the holiday weekend I dont know. There were no staff around to assist or answer questions and the stack outs were a mess. This was my first time visiting this location and will probably be my last.

Store is kept fairly clean most of the time and the shelves are stocked fairly well. They have a good selection of products from different ethnic cultures that can be hard to find elsewhere. I like this Meijer the best mainly because I can remember the store layout best here. lol

This has long been my go-to store for groceries, miscellaneous shopping, sometimes clothing. Meijer has EVERYthing one could possibly want; prices are as good as anywhere else in the city. The only thing I would add here is that I wish ALL registers would be opened ALL the time.

This meijer is the worst. Ive received better customer service at WalMart, and that is saying alot. The cashiers routinely argue over coupons, sales prices, etc. They are obviously not paid to think, but rather are paid to be combative and unfriendly. Remarkable.

employees nowhere to be found to help. A generally dark dingy feel to the store shelves seemed to be stocked where I shopped I ran in for a few things on way to work. It shouldnt take 10 min of wanting half a grocery store to find an employee to ask for help

I havent been impressed with the service in line at this specific store. Employees have always been rude, lazy or both...not to mention long lines and never enough registers open. BUT, the store has just about everything you could ever want.

I been going to the 16 and vandyke meijer for 8 years. I have noticed the store lately looking run down and alot of stuff not being stocked or kept up. Still feels like home but i would say there ready for a remodel soon.

This Meijer at night Id the worst. Tons of stuff not in stock, and every single u-scan had blinking lights waiting for two of the pokiest employees on their team. Every customer looked hostile. And...they dont take coupons
