Worst experience - completely incompetent. Ordered $30 of food, was not given my full order. Called to ask for the rest of my food at 9:33 and was told it would be a SECURITY RISK for anyone to enter the store since the doors were locked and refused to put the missing food order outside of their door! Unbelievably absurd. At 9:29 there is no security risk, 3 minutes later - perilous to open the door and give me the food that I ordered and paid for. Truly shockingly ridiculous! "Managers" like Jackie should be able to act like ADULTS and give customers their order when a mistake is made by the Panera employees - even if its 9:33!!! I will call the GM, Ryan, tomorrow afternoon and see if he stands by the unbelieveable declaration of safety to not give me the food I ordered and paid for. All I wanted was the food I ordered for a late dinner with my family.....so frustrated and angry with this ludacris scenario that just unfolded! Too bad there is no option for a was a zero rating! Terrible!

This is a great environment to work in for a morning. The employees are helpful, happy, and will fix any issues right away . The food is good, service is fast, and the bathrooms and tables are clean. However, the employees do like to "correct" you. When I asked for a "tall coffee mug" I got corrected "we only have one type of coffee mug...the short one is for tea" and when returning a burnt bagel, I got challenged "So you dont want it toasted, you only want it warm?" I could do without those kinds of comments before caffeine has even hit my blood stream. ETA: There is free wifi with no limit (Ive been here 2 meals and 5 hours so far), and there are at least 3 tables with access to an outlet.

Recently revisited and had a great experience. Some of the staff members ate nice and some acthings like they dont even see you. The only person who know what they are doing is Blake.. ------------------------- August 8th Went in there today and the person who took my order looked clueless... Order makers were lost in their LALA lands. Lines were backed up, not only my order was mess up but 3 others were complaining.. when I asked for a Manager I was told that she was busy and be out in 5min, after 5 minutes I was told she is still busy. I am literally there every day or at least 2 or more times a day. All I ever want is to have my food made correctly and in time.

I went for lunch with a colleague for the first time. I was the only person of color in the resteraunt during the duration of my visit. Someone who appeared to be mgmt. kept giving me an unfriendly stare. When I went to stand in line to grab my food, the customer in front of me was met with, "you have a great day sir." I was met with my food literally being plopped on the counter and the worker who also appeared to be a mgr, turning his head. I politely took my meal and said "thank you." Absolutely no response or eye contact. An overall uncomfortable feeling and after my meal, I had a terrible stomach ache..... Sad..

Go here if you want food poisoning. I ate here on Sunday and literally threw away my salad because it tasted funny (Ive only had Panera 2-3 times ever) I didnt care much. Anyways, the next morning I became sick (I eat the same thing everyday so I know its Panera that caused it) and I reported this to the manager who said he would get back to me within 24 hours or less, it has been over 4 days and Ive heard nothing. Im leaving the one star not because I care about $20 but because the management here is lousy and doesnt care if they give you food poisoning as long as they get their money.

Young female cashier was indifferent to customers waiting and felt comfortable talking to a young male customer for an extended time. If the employees are so indifferent when customers are watching, what do you think they do in the back when no one is watching? I love Paneras, but this one isnt worth the problems. Cant wait to see the Youtube video alla Dominos of the nightmares in the back!

Best lunch place in Okemos, in my opinion. Great food, amazing bread & bakery, Free Wifi, amazing atmosphere, though it can get a little crowded and hard to find a table. Pros: Great food, great bakery, amazing staff, free WiFi, cozy, nice art, great atmosphere. Cons: Only breakfast and lunch, not a dinner place, sometimes corwded/hard to find a table.

We enjoyed a nice meal and were pleasantly surprised when a gentlemen named LaVon came over and asked if we were finished and he could take our plates. We said yes and he then proceeded to take our plates and asked how we enjoyed our meal. I think this is the level of service that is rarely given and is much appreciated! Great job LaVon!

Very unfortunate to disconnect Wi-Fi services on purpose to limit the length of stay of costumers. In addition, the electric outlets are obstructed intentionally so none can connect your cell phone or laptop chargers etc... If you do not offer the service (Wi-Fi) then DO NOT publicize it. Pessimal management policy.

Panerai is one of our favorite places to dine. Sausage, Egg & cheese on Ciabatta is our favorite breakfast sandwich. For lunch she loves the broccoli cheese soup and I love the pick 2 of chicken noodle soup, and Mac & cheese with baguettes. Also they have an amazing chicken tortellini Alfredo. Staff is always amazing.

You should know at the end of the day you are a fast food restaurant. I can believe it how expensive youre, RAISING THE PRICE OF YOUR SOME BY 50%. for what reasons. Unfortunately you guys all after $$$$$ with no RESPECT TO YOUR CUSTOMER BASE. I dont go to panera anymore. Sad Sad Sad

The workers here are always very friendly, fast, and accurate. The foods as delicious as any Panera, and I really appreciate the cozy atmosphere and convenient location. Its dangerous, though... Rapid Pick-Up + being right on my way to work = way too many breakfasts I get here!!

Prices a bit high for the food you get, but a bakers dozen is $6.99 on Tuesdays! And their bagels are fresh daily, quite large, and some of the best tasting in the area. They have a better Chai Latte than Starbucks and provide a great place to plug in and work or study.

Great food, just what you would expect from a Panera. This place gets pretty busy at the lunch hours. The corner it is on is shared with many other business, so parking can be pretty tight.

Ordered oatmeal with blueberries. Oatmeal barely warm and blueberries cold. I was told to go microwave it. You also need more electric outlets.
