I began visiting the Blue Grill in Milford about a year ago. A few revisits over the past year havent dampened my enthusiasm for the food here. Both the beef and chicken shawarma remain excellent. Ask for the garlic sauce, some tomatoes, cucumbers and onions and along with the rice and lettuce, you have a meal that will fill you up and put a smile on your face. The hummus tastes homemade and a mile better than the stuff you can purchase at the stores. I simply have never had a bad meal here. Now, the downside. I used to frequent this place when it was Stucchis Ice Cream. The wood floor gleamed and was spotless. Since its been the Blue Grill Ill be they havent actually cleaned the floor (other than sweeping it) once. The back entry way floors are also obviously dirty, dirty, dirty as are the floors in the main dining area. The sill under the windows had dead flies and the bin for plastic bottles was overflowing. This place has great food. What it needs now is management to put some of the employees to work cleaning and keeping the place up because the cleanliness of this is really beginning to put me off.

All the yaaaaaaas! This is the best Mediterranean food Ive ever gotten, fast or in a sit down restaurant. The quality of the meat is excellent and you cant compare the flavors to anything else. The staff here always go above and beyond to ensure the customers are happy and get what they want. I get excited every single time I go here, because I am never disappointed. The portions are also pretty darn good, as I always end up bringing an entire meal back home with me. Id recommend that everyone come here and try it out. Youll be so happy you tried it, and youll want to come back the next day for more. It may be a smaller business in downtown Milford, but what they may lack in square footage they make up for in everything else.

I was really impressed by both the food, and the service at this place. The ambiance leaves something to be desired, but its clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious (HUGE selection of fresh veggies, types of hummus, and various other toppings for wraps and salads). Essentially, the layout of the restaurant is something of a mediterranean take on a Qdoba or Chipotle, but with a much larger selection (and fresher, tastier food in my opinion). Its a perfect place for a casual lunch or dinner, its really well priced, and Id recommend it to anybody who likes mediterranean cuisine.

I was in this restaurant recently and overheard a phone conversation between the owner and the most incredibly rude woman, who continuously asked the owner if she was Muslim, if she was illegal or had a green card because she wont patronize any business owned by Muslims and illegal immigrants. After about 10 minutes of this the owner hung up after telling her she needed a shrink. The entire restaurant burst out in applause and some came to her and thanked her for standing up to this ignorance. We need to support people and businesses like this...

Not a big Mediterranean fan. But this place is awesome. Food is great, staff is incredibly friendly. Will go again. Update: this place has really gotten me into Mediterranean food. Now every time Im in the area I stop and get food here. Phenomenal food! Update 2: been coming here for a few years. Food is amazing. Service at noon is fine. Service in the evenings SUCKS. Took a star away. I cant come for lunch anymore,and the last few times Ive come for dinner the service has been getting worse and worse. Food remains delicious.

Two of my friends and I went to Blue Grill for lunch. We had purchased 3 vouchers for a $15 meal per person. The prices were so reasonable, it was difficult to spend the entire $15. The staff was very gracious, and that isnt always the case when redeeming a voucher. The food was excellent and the portions were more than generous. I look forward to my next visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is one of the places I will miss the most when we move out of Milford. I LOVE their food, and it is always delicious. I usually order a vegetarian pita with the falafel, and various veggies and the garlic sauce. So delicious. The staff are pretty friendly on a regular basis as well. One critique I would make is that it seems the tables are dirty more often than they are clean.

I have been eating Mediterranean food for only about 8 months. I have since tried shawarma, and hummus at just about every local restaurant. Blue Grill is the best. The best shawarma in a 30 mile radius (personally the best Ive had, but I hear Bucharest is untouchable), and their red pepper hummus is to die for. Staff is awesome, and prices are good. Check this place out.

I am vegan so I find myself at mediterranean restaurants often. This place has a great concept. It was described to us as a mediterranean subway. You pick rice, wrap or salad and the choose your toppings. It was super fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I dont live in the area but I will ne back.

Coworkers and I go here almost twice a month. Its great for the low-carb diet Im on. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. Im not giving it 5 stars because its a bit expensive for my taste, but it doesnt keep me from going back again and again.

I used to be the biggest fan of the Pita Cafe in Oak Park. They have always been the benchmark on which all other restaurants have been measured...no longer! Blue Grill has surpassed them in every way and on every food item! I LOVE this place.

Great for a quick lunch, like Qdoba for Mediterranean food :) Friendly helpful staff, offered tastes of things to help me choose on my first visit. Portions are generous + home made pita chips & hummus with the meal were a nice touch!

Ive recently fallen in love with this place. Their rice bowls with the spicy garlic sauce is BEYOND incredible. I also love their guacamole flavored hummus. My coworkers and I order here at least once a week and are completely hooked.

The food at Blue Grill is awesome! My entire family enjoys eating there. Marianne and Dmitri are always kind and welcoming when you arrive. If you havent tried it yet, you should. I believe that you will love it!

They now nickel and dime you on every little topping. The workers and owner are some of the rudest people you will come across. What started out as a pleasant place to eat has now become a restaurant to avoid.
