Definitely a huge fan of tropical smoothie but would never recommend this one to anybody. Went here with a coupon after signing up for their rewards program, and from the moment they saw I was using a coupon the manager was not happy at all. First, he stated that it could not be used with a breakfast wrap, even though the coupon clearly stated "get a $1 smoothie with ANY wrap or sandwich." Begrudgingly, he decided to accept it, and instead of $1 gave us a smoothie for $1.49 (which Im not complaining about, still a good deal). However, once the breakfast wrap I had ordered was finished, it was made to be about 1/2 the size of a breakfast wrap at other locations! My guess is that he was still upset that I was using the coupon, so decided to make it smaller, but Im really not sure. All I know is I would recommend anyone to go to another location and pass on this one.

I really LOVE Tropical Smoothie, This Particular location is a disaster, I made an attempt to speak with the owner and he was very polite, but he did nothing to fix his staff, continued to get bad service and smoothies that taste like ice and kale are not appetizing and buying for a group of co-workers spending 30-75 dollars a week and multiple times and getting random things I did not order and items that were clearly made wrong, and the staff for over a week now saying the owner/manager will call back (still have never heard after making 4 phone calls) and doing nothing about their mistakes will be using a different location from now on.

Great food and a good service. However, sometimes the drinks are perfect....sometimes theyre not. It seems to depend on who works there. Also the owner is really really rude to the employees and seems to enjoy humiliating them in front of customers if they get an order wrong. My family and i have been going there faithfully since it opened but i feel like the quality has gone down a lot. Also the owner flirts with my mom lol which is kind of awkward and unprofessional. I dont like how he treats his employees or his unfriendly manners.

Terrible customer service... Called in 2 smoothies as I was in a hurry. Showed up 10 minutes later and it was social hour for the employees. The "manager" took the order but apparently didnt let anyone else know because they all had a confused look on their faces when I asked for my order. Ive also waited 35-40 minutes for a smoothie here before. No more chances from me. Theres another store at 7 and Middlebelt... they seem to have their stuff together.

Will not be returning. Went in to get a wrap said no tomato and they made it with tomatoes. spoke with the owner the next day because I have a hectic work schedule and explained Im allergic to them and the owner said hed remake it for half off.. Ive been management in a few fast food places and would never have told a customer Id remake it for half off when its their fault.... Just shows how cheap and unappreciative they are to their customers.

Dirty. Very dirty and strange experience. Garbage littered the floor, both bathrooms were out of order and there was what appeared to be a wet blunt on the floor near the bathrooms. I really just wanted to get a refund and leave based on the feeling I had being in this place the one star is for the smoothie as it was good and tasteful per usual. Customer service wasnt awful but I wouldnt say it was good. I will avoid this location from now on.

Super rude and impersonable call to explain how blend my smoothie was and got no sympathy from the staff. They even told me that corporate wouldnt allow them to refunds my smoothy just 50% off the next purchase or come back in to have your smoothy remade I sat out in my car and called to speak to a manager .I spoke to A Julian and when I told him I was still there and just wanted back . Horrible place I will never come back

This used to be a great place. But now my order is always wrong. I gave them plenty of chances but this was the last straw. I walked in and the lady taking my order was on the phone. Then she asked her coworker to cash me out so she could proceed with her phone conversation. My order ended up being wrong AND there was a spider in my sandwich. Im absolutely disgusted and displeased with the service.

My service was excellent there was only two employees which should never happen on a Sunday they were back and they were doing the best they could with a smile on your face the whole entire time I dont normally come to this location because I live on the other side of town and I always use my app for some reason does not work at Home Livonia location other than that everything was awesome

Got order in at 11:30am got smoothie at 12:30pm it was not made correct they made me another peanut paradise with peanut butter in it yeah however it was watery and at 12: 51pm I am still waiting on a half of a turkey sandwich... Terrible Crew including manager who is yelling at employees in front of customers she doesnt seem to be able to work under pressure

Two times in a row I have been extremely disappointed in their smoothies. They used to be very good, now just flavored ice. Horrible smoothie, Im bot sure if they are trying to save money or if they dont know what they are doing. I will not go back to this location. The store on Seven mile still makes a great smoothie.

This place has went extremely downhill since its changed management. I use to come in daily and now the last few times I have stopped in has been horrible experiences. You pay entirely way too much for the food quality you receive. :-( I miss my old girls & the old management even if the womans bathroom was broke for months.

This is response to Ashely...I worked at tropical smoothie for 4 years. I havent heard one complaint about this place or the owner before, and I know the owner has always taken care of his customers, I still go to tropical smoothie Livonia pretty frequently, it is the only one I ever go too.

I believe i saw a post about the former owner/manager. Please dont be discouraged to go here. The staff is very friendly and i havent seen that one guy there in quite some time. I am a regular customer at this location. They are awesome and this is brand of products that are amazing!

Horrible employees. There was only one lady who seemed like she knew what she was doing. One employee walked up to the register with both headphones in and phone in her hand, without even saying anything to the customer or greeting her. Also, the smoothie tasted awful.

Used to be good and pretty fast. Im here now and Ive been waiting forever and theres still people waiting on their orders before me. They are also out of everything it seems like. Its mid June guys. Warm weather is here. Get your supplies ordering figured out.

Poor man was working so hard all by himself with a line full of customers with no help he did awesome taking care of everybody but that wasnt fair to him where were the other workers at when he was all by himself with all these customers to handle?
