Were "regulars" here. Food quality used to be excellent. But as of late, with new kitchen staff, the quality of food has dropped considerably, and the owner, Nick, throws his waitstaff under the bus like its their fault the food wasnt cooked properly. However, there are two waitresses there that are EXCEPTIONAL and DAMN good at what they do! One, we had many times, her name is Mary. The other one, we havent had the pleasure of serving us, but we had noticed her work ethic and it is ASTOUNDING for such a young lady! We believe her name is Alyssa, but not sure yet. We have MANY years of successful experience in the restaurant business, and hope they can get it together soon!!!!

I wish I could give 2 sperate ratings. The staff is extremely nice with professional service. We had a issue with a over cooked steak which the staff was attempting to make right, this is when I had the privilege of meeting the owner. His idea of fixing the issue was refusing service and offering to serve a raw steak. This left our server apologizing for the response, something she shouldnt of had to do since she had done nothing wrong. I wont be eating here again due to the ownership of the restaurant. The staff themselves would get 5 stars

My sister and i went to the Apple Tree, and our food was almost unbearable. There was a long hair in her coleslaw, and her vegetable lasagna was cold, and seemed as though it was cook in the microwave. There was also hair in the corn that was served with my chicken, which was under-cooked and tasted as if it were also cooked in the microwave. the only decent food i was served was a baked potato, and soup. i complained about the hair being in the food and the owner did not charge me for the food i didnt eat.

the owner is an a$$.. so be prepared if its packed..but the food is AMAZING.. absolutely delicious.. portions are huge.. the food is beautifully displayed as if you were eating at a higher end restaurant..you definitely get your monies with and MORE.. for a "family restaurant" this one breaks the mold..btw..the staff was pleasant and were professional.. restaurant very clean..only negative thing were the bathrooms need to be upgraded

Great Service, Great food, their chicken cranberry salad is so good, with homemade dressing! We go there at least twice a month, I always get the salad, and there is always enough left to have for dinner or lunch the next day. My husband loves the fish dinner on Fridays! The Breakfast skillets and their pancakes are good too! The menu is huge, lots of choices. Apple tree is our favorite place to eat out!

Ive been here a few times when visiting the area. The food is always delicious and staff have always been very friendly. I asked if their cole slaw had celery seed and the waitress even brought me a sample to try to see if I liked it first. I left my keys on the counter and she came right out before I realized they were missing. Great family dining restaurant.

When we visit Lapeer we eat here almost every morning. My 2 year old nephew was with us last time. He is a picky eater but loved his pancakes. Ive been here close to a dozen times and I dont think Ive had anything that was not good. They are always busy, but have quick, friendly service. They know the regulars and keep the coffee or hot chocolate coming.

They cook decent everyday food but dont how to treat their employees....I watched the owner talked down and basically shove one of his employees and treat her like crap. I almost stepped in but I think she did the smart thing and Walk out... I will never step foot in there again.

always good food good prices love the homemade soups portions are huge staff is friendly my only complaint being its not very handicap accessible entry difficult to many tables crowded to close whenever i go i feel in the way in my wheel chair doesnt make me feel very welcome

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, even when they are under pressure from being so busy they do everything they can to accommodate you. Plus the food was wonderful, it definitely reflects their superb service and cleanliness. I wish we lived closer, this place is a gem!

Deee-leeeesh!!!! Been there many times and they served great food eveytime. I have not had any issues that I can recall. Some days they are busy and you may jeed to wait for a table. Prices are reasonable with average meal and drink about 10 to 12 dollars per adult.

I went there for my first time and ordered chicken tenders. She brought them out and they were discolored and looked gross. For some reason I ate them, they tasted fine. I made the guy I went with eat it too and when we got home we both got sick.

Our go-to place in Lapeer. Good family that owns and runs it. Their skillets are top notch. The classic bar-seating is a nice touch for 1 or 2-top groups.
