Very dissatisfied. The quality of food is decent, but the customer service is subpar. Probably shouldnt have expected much, but nonetheless, I expect better care. I ordered a take-out dish & was asked how spicy I wanted it. Told him I didnt want it too spicy, but a little heat. He recommended "medium" & said it was "pretty hot already". That was a gross understatement. The dish was ungodly hot. I love spicy food, my wife is from Taiwan. I eat spicy food all the time. This was way off the charts! Anyways, called to reorder at a lighter level. I could not consume the dish as was. Here is where their lack of customer service came into play. I had to repay for the new dish. Spent nearly $30 (even tipped them on the first order...for carryout), & they couldnt even offer me the new dish in place of the previous one. Rookie customer service mistake. I will no longer go there, which is a shame, because it is the only Thai food around (not great, but not bad). I will probably warn people away from now on as well. I suggest you update your customer service policies. It may help you from losing your business all together.

My wife and I left Howell in May of 2008 and now live in Silicon Valley. There are Thai restaurants everywhere, but we have yet to find a place that has replaced the great food we received at Thai Cafe. The Curry Pad Thai was excellent (the noodles soak up all that lovely curry sauce!) and along with the Thai Cafe Fried Rice made a great base for each meal. Did not have a curry dish that ever disappointed. Thai Cafe, please open a spot in Palo Alto or Menlo Park. Two of your old customer would greatly appreciate it.

Came with a group of friends. Watched as 9 people from our group were served. How ever four of us were frogoten about and a hour later our order had not even turned into the kitchen, after all our friends had already eaten and were ready to go , that brought 2 plates of food to the table and sat them down then took them back and served then to another table. management did not offer or even care to do a anything about it. Maybe it was that w I could go on and on

I had the pork egg roll, house noodles, and hot & sour soup. The food was fresh, authentic, and exceptional. The dishes are not hot just for the sake of being hot. Medium was spot-on, but I could see some people trying mild first. The spices are very flavorful, and not from a can or jar. The wait staff (Macy) was very courteous, energetic, and helpful. I can easily see this place becoming one of my regular lunch stops.

I can always count on them to make a quick, delicious meal. Word to the wise, this restaurant uses real Thai chilis. So if you usually order a hot spicy level, you may want to start out with the medium spice level. There is no reason on the face of this Earth to order your dish flaming hot. Its just stupid. Even the owners see no reason other than having your table mates laugh at you while your mouth melts away.

I really love this food. The noodle dishes are amazing and just all around a great place. I love getting takeout here and highly recommend this place. I cant remember a time when Ive ordered something and was disappointed with it. Sometimes the service is not the best, but that doesnt mean much to me when I end up with a ridiculously delicious meal every single time.

The best Thai food I have ever had. The chicken and shrimp currys are awesome, I get the mild, not too hot and very complex flavor. The service is great. The staff is friendly and nice. THe thai cafe is very clean and the atmosphere is very thai. I get take out from here twice a week and I look forward to it. Thai cafe, you guys rock.

Not a huge fan of Thai food, but this place is so good! Everything I have had is yummy, especially the peanut curry. The vegetables they use always look amazing, I usually order extra. Also important to note how wonderful the staff is. Everyone is always super nice and friendly. We eat here (take out) at least every week or 2.

They only serve their hot and sour soup on Fridays, I havent had it but I bet it is good. If you like Medium spice normally, it will be hotter than what you tell them. I got mild plus and had to blow my nose a few times, really clears the sinuses. I recommend the Chicken pad prik, and add water chestnuts.

This establishment uses the cheapest of ingredents they dont even carry fish chips there, I have eaten Thai cuisine all of my adult life and the receptionist that I spoke with corrected me wrongly and rudely on my order Pad Ped curry really simple order.I am the farthest thing from a food snob . ai

great great thai food. best around howell and Brighton anyway. I have had some issues with the level of spice (mild spice being unbearable) but as long as you mention it or talk to them about it they always take the time to make your experience a great one. also everyone is very nice.

An interesting little restaurant. The food was good, but i with i had gone with a less hot option. Clearly I wasnt ready for mild curry. The service was alright, and the ambiance was nothing special. A nice restaurant id visit again, but i want blown away.

Used to be better a few years ago I no longer attend regularly. In the past we ate lunch here 2-3 times a week. Spice levels, Soup choices have gone way down in quality. 4 years ago this would have been a 5 star place today it is 3 no more.

We got kicked out at 8pm last night upon arrival. We were told after making plans and traveling here that they would only do carry out. There hours posted online are open till 9pm. My wife and I with 4 hungry kids were very disappointed.

This place is awesome, Andrew Yost must be an idiot with a weak mouth if you cant handle medium level...Its Thai chilis, what would you expect. Weve been eating here frequently since moving to the area. Keep making awesome food.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants and one of my favorite restaurants in Howell! The fresh chilis in their meals bring it to a whole new level and the service is always wonderful! Ive never had a bad meal here!

AMAZING!! I love Thai Cafe. There fried rice is absolutely amazing. Im constantly ordering from here and have always received excellent service. They blow other Thai restaurants out the water. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food. its hot and fresh, made to order. staff is nice. the interior looks a bit.... rough.... but the food is so good that we overlook it. i do wish theyd update things and clean it up.
