Impression: Quaint breakfast location in a cute neighborhood/town. I dont live in Holland buts its adorable. Its not located in the main downtown area, but off a couple miles away (maybe?). However the area where its nestled is also very cute and clean. We were looking for a simple eatery for breakfast where I could get my fill of coffee and substance. Pros: The coffee was fresh and good. The food was also very good. The atmosphere is very casual and laid back for when you just want to roll out of bed, look pleasant enough to greet society (jeans and tshirt... you should have some class and not go out in your sweat pants... much) and have a nice warm breakfast that meets everyones wants. Cons: Some of the items seemed a bit pricey, but nothing that isnt within the realm of reasonable. Conclusion: I would return here for breakfast, and if I lived in the Holland area, I would return on a semi-regular basis because it is just a nice quaint place to have breakfast. Great For: Small groups or families.

5 adult breakfasts, 1 kids menu breakfast $72 before tip. 2 pancakes, 1 french toast, 1 breakfast tacos, 1 farmer platter and 1 kids pancakes. Breakfast tacos were flavorless mush. Literally no texture or flavor. Potatoes in farmer platter were undercooked. Outside was crispy but inside still had a crisp starchy raw potatoe taste. Pancakes were delicious. Really good here. Overall the price is outrageous for a place to get breakfast. Every place we ate on vacation was better food (other then the pancakes) at a significantly better price. Maybe they made a mistake ringing up our bill and the regular cook was gone but I have no idea how they are rated so high.

Sounded like a nice place to try so we did. 30 minute wait took an hour. Ordered 2 cappuccinos and 25 mins later they came out. Food was on par with a Coney island. We ordered the salmon with heirloom tomatoes and the chorizo migas. The salmon was dry and was accompanied by a slice of tomato. The migas had a few pieces of crumbled chorizo and were flavorless. The potatoes were burnt to a nice charcoal hue and were accompanied by a dry day old biscuit. I ordered a side of bacon for $2.50 and got two thin pieces of burnt grocery store bacon. The water was good however. Lol

This is my regular breakfast stop. The food here is excellent, especially anything with pancakes (specifically the ones smothered in homemade granola), and the accompanying cup of coffee is always solid. The staff is always friendly, and the owners (Tracy in the kitchen and Rob greeting and seating patrons) really make the place feel like the family-owned business that it is. Pricing is a little high compared to other breakfast places, but in this case it is a directly correlated to the higher quality of the food. Definitely add it to your to-eat list!

Great staff. Friendly atmosphere. Fast service. Owner is there everyday, knows customers by name and is genuine. Food still blows me away. Their signature plates may not be for everyone, but they have options if youre looking for comfort food. Coffee is from Uncommon Grounds which is subpar. But then again, its fantastic when its your first of the day. Wait time may be long some days, but there are seats to wait inside and benches outside along Washington Square. Happy to support great people and stellar food.

Ive never been to a brunch place before, but watching Portlandia had made my expectations pretty high. While there were no Marionberry pancakes, there were many tasteful and creative options to choose from. All of the staff were cheerful and helpful and the coffee was delicious! I had the Basic Breakfast with eggs over medium, cranberry and raisin toast, and bacon, and it was anything but basic! 14/10 would brunch again

I had the huevos rancheros with no eggs, potatoes instead. It had very good flavor, I really enjoyed it. We also got the berries and cream French toast. It was average. The coffee was really good. They were out of our first three menu choices and didnt have avocado either, which was supposed to be an option for the rancheros. The food was really good. Nothing Id drive across town for again though. Great service.

I live in Holland and have visited The Biscuit for over a year now. With this experience comes the good and the bad. Pros are : decent food, good location, and a good atmosphere. The main con with this place is that the service is really inconsistent. Bad service ruins a good meal. As mentioned by Sam, the value for money isnt spectacular. Overall, this is a pretty decent place for breakfast though.

The Biscuit is the best gull durn place to get breakfast in West Michigan. The food is delicious, hearty, fresh, and always new. The service is beyond friendly and the place has a real family atmosphere to it. The decor matches perfectly as it is quaint, simple, and somewhat quirky. I have recommended The Biscuit to countless people and not one of them was bummed out by the experience.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. Absolutely amazing food and great service! We had stopped in the day before but admittedly I did not want to wait for a table. After being told by family that we should have, we tried again. Let me tell you it was worth the wait!! I have no desire to go anywhere else for breakfast. We had the Chicken Apple hash and the Migas. YUM.

Amazing food, great variety, and excellent, strong coffee (an essential for breakfast!). Lived in the LA area for a number of years and enjoyed many delicious breakfast places--now we have something just as good here in Holland! Love the Brioche French toast, the biscuits with lemon curd and with onion jam (to die for!), and several egg dishes. Kids love the pancake mountain.

We were trying to find an all day breakfast place that wasnt the typical Dennys, and this place popped up. It was excellent! The food was delicious and fresh, the wait staff was courteous, and even though they were smaller portions than we are used to, we were full when we finished! It is a little pricey, but totally worth it. This place is sexual.

Hokey peets, this place is amazing!! The dishes and unique combinations for breakfast are out of this world! I LOVE their blueberry pancakes and lemon curd! Then, just the other day I had a strawberry waffle with rhubarb sauce, whipped cream and candied pecans!! Oh my soul... I bring all of my friends and relatives here for a breakfast delight!

Very tasty and relatively reasonably priced for the quality of food made from scratch. There were so many good options on the menu it was hard to decide! There was a little bit of a wait to get in on a busy Sunday but it was worth the wait... Its our new favorite breakfast place and we will be back.

Fantastic all the way around. So glad we stopped on our way home from Holland. Its rare to go to a restaurant and want to order nearly everything on the menu, but that was the case here! The food lived up to the descriptions too. If you visit Holland, dont miss breakfast/brunch at the biscuit!

Fantastic food! Fresh ingredients and a perfect portion size, which is unusual for many breakfast places. I had the Spanish Benedict, which was delicious! Had chorizo and a chipoltle holendaise sauce. The wife had a veggie scramble, which had purple potatoes and broccoli. Kid friendly!
