First time trying this place out. We got here around 3:15 pm. I ordered the carne asada & pastor tacos on flour tortilla which cost extra for the flour tortillas because I was told it was bigger. Im visiting Montgomery from an AZ border town so it was extremely unusual to be charged extra for asking for flour tortilla. The flavors were delicious like my bordee town Then I tried the El Tipico Peppers, their version of chili relleno but topped with sautéed ground beef and enchilada sauce. It was bland but I flavored it with salsa to give it more flavor. I asked the waitress what part of Mexico was their style of cooking and she didnt know. I asked her later if she found out for me and she said she was told no specific place in Mexico. I wasnt impressed. They can be a great place if they are able to define themselves with a signature of their specific unique style. The 3 stars is for the carne asada and pastor tacos.

The food was great and plentyful. The service was also wonderful and great. Waiters were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Restaurrant was very clean and organized. The food came in hot to the touch and if one requested hot it was made for you. I ordered fahitas and I got so much that I took some home and ate of it for three days. I went again to celebrate my friends birthday and we ordered vegetarian and there was plenty of food. Overall rating - 5 You must try this restaurant. If was jam packed each time that I have been there. My spanish classes will be visiting today.

This wouldve been one star if not for the service, Ive been here twice in 2 years. I will not be back due to the food made my date sick not even an hour after eating. She didnt finish the food she ordered because of the taste, 4 rolaids later she still got sick from it. Had better food out of microwave

This place has definitely gone downhill. The food was mediocre and the salsa was more like eating a can of diced tomatoes. Not what weve had in the past and wont have to worry about another trip for more disappointment.

Food was VERY bland, and flavorless. Salsa had no texture, was more a tomato sauce than a salsa. Bought fajitas, and tasted like it hadnt been seasoned at all. I was dissatisfied to say the least.

My daughters favorite place to eat. The salsa is more puree with a few little chunks in it but has a nice kick to it. Service is friendly and fast and the food fantastic.

Best food for the price in East Montgomery. Tipico beats out Jalapenos for sure. Their salsa is much better as well as the Chimichangas. Well definitely be going back!

For the price, there are better options in town. I hate that they charge 25 cents per substitution on many dishes that default to beef. The food is always fresh though
