Ate here with my family on Saturday night, November 30, 2013. We had 4 adult meals. We were seated with no wait immediately on entry at shortly after 5:00 PM. I am a wheelchair user and experienced no accessible issues. We sat at a standard height table for 4. Theyve removed one chair and it worked out perfectly for us. My wife said next to me on the wheelchair side of the table and our adult children sat on the other side. The service was friendly and timely. I ordered the " Heights Vineyard Salad and a side of the waffle fries. The salad was tasty although little bit dry with the standard portion of dressing. When I requested they brought a second portion of the dressing quickly and without charge. If I had it to do over again I would get the cherry balsamic vinaigrette instead of the plane vinaigrette that comes standard. My wife had the prime rib done rare with a side salad. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. It was a large slice nicely trimmed with no visible fat. My wife loved it. My daughter had the " artichoke chicken". She was very pleased with the meal. My son had the artichoke steak salad. He was impressed that it came with pretty much a full size steak. He found the entree delicious. We are very much enjoyed the restaurant and our meals. We will definitely come back.

Finally...a break from the "Chain" restaurants! Great atmosphere good food! Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help you make selections! My kids learned that its OK to ask if something isnt on the menu or to change what they have on the menu. Two finicky boys makes it hard to try something new...these guys are willing to go above and beyond! This is the first restaurant of choice! I have had the Ahi Tuna Salad, the nut crusted whitefish. My kids have had BBQ shrimp skewers. This wasnt their favorite sauce ( I liked it though) as it isnt a "BBQ" sauce they were accustomed to. But they made sure the kids were happy and changed things up for them! My wife has had the Vineyard Chicken salad (minus Gorgonzola) and loved it. The Idaho Nachos are fancy cut waffle fries made into Potato Skins....extremely yummy! They sell them to go too so you can do a fly by on your way home! Give this place a try! You wont be disappointed!

This strong 4/5 rating is mostly due to their loaded waffle fries. My friends and I had dinner here on the second night of our trip and we came back a second time just for these fries! This appetizer was the perfect size for the five of us (including myself, the hungry pregnant woman). The waffle fries on their own had the perfect seasoning and texture. But why not cover them with delicious-ness and dip then in some amazing house sauce? Most of our party loved their dip sandwich. You can get it with a side of sweet potato fries. But I have to say that they are no where near as good as the waffle fries. They only plate I wouldnt recommend would be the fried chicken sandwich. It just didnt have much flavor at all. But the service was good on both visits and I know we would return on a future trip to Holland!

My wife and I met here after work for a rare date night. It has a nice higher end pub-type atmosphere and the kind of food youd expect. Our sever offered us warm and cheesy fresh baked rolls before our dinner arrived which started things on a high note. As is often the case for me I ordered the olive burger to set a baseline for what to expect from their food. It was unique in that the olives were blended with cream cheese which. Was absolutely delicious and something Ive not had before. The bun and burger were both grilled perfectly. My wifes French dip was also very good although I cannot comment on it as much. Highly recommended.

This place as an attraction to it that I just cant put my finger on. Its been awhile sense I have been here but so glad I came back. Great atmosphere, excellent food, great beers on tap superior service. There is an comfortable energy here and I like it. I will be back more often. I found out they do take reservation and I would suggest it because its busy. The parking lot fills up too. There is more parking around back. The only negative I can say about Salt and Pepper is the small bathrooms. They only have two one stall bathrooms. If this was helpful let me know.

I will NEVER be eating here again. I ate the fish and chips from here and about an hour later started the worst food poisoning of my life. Ive already lost 7 pounds Ive been so sick. The meal came with two pieces of fish, one was considerably darker than the other. I didnt think anything of it due to the fact that it is the responsibility of the restaurant to throw out food once it has gone bad, ESPECIALLY seafood. I will never eat here again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone. This is a place for the health inspector.

We had excellent service, and the live musician was wonderful (70s Jim?)...great music choices and not too loud to talk, just right for atmosphere. Our server was very helpful with dinner options. We ended up with the waffle fry appetizer, perfect crunch with a slightly sweet dipping sauce. We all ordered the portabella sandwich on a pretzel bun with the chips. It was slightly messy (not date food), but as I wasnt trying to impress anyone with my neat eating, it was great...delicious. We will be returning when we are back in town in May.

Great local restaurant on the north side of Holland! Always friendly service; great atmosphere; great drink selection with full bar and great wines. Make a reservation -- gets busy at the dinner rush, but if youre a late dinner person like me, by 8:30pm on weekdays it clears out. Head chef is a great guy and always comes up with inventive, fantastic foods. If you dont know what to order, get the special that day! S&P is also great to the community -- supports lots of local charities, sports teams, etc.

What a great place! It was packed for a late Saturday evening. They had a 30 minute wait, so we sat at the bar to eat, which was empty. the 2 female bartenders that were there were great. The menu was big, and it was extremely hard to make a decision because so many things sounded great. We had recommendations on the ahi tuna, the turkey burger, and chicken sandwich. They were fantastic. Our food was great, the service the great, and they had a good craft beer selection. Nice pick on a restaurant.

I heard a lot of hype on this establishment, with its relationship to Crazy Horse. My first impression was that of a bar, loud with a lot of movement. But, in defense, the world series was being aired on all screens. I ordered a coffee. First cup was instant. Yuk and a no no. 2nd cup replaced with real java. Ribeye was delicious. I waited for the waitress to bring my check for about 10 minutes. She was at the bar engaged in conversation with a male she was clearly into. Bad first impression.
