Seems like theyve been downhill since opening. We loved coming here, but not any more. It was close, food was pretty good, servers excellent. Now, we are totally disappointed. The food is not what it used to be. They used to have pasta that we just loved, but not so much any more. The pasta dishes are swimming in grease, not so tasty. Theyve acquired a bar crowd, and thats who they appear to cater to.

Have only had dinners and drinks at the bar but thats how you get good drinks from the bar staff. Excellent penne pasta with italian sausage, lots of sauce. Debbie and i can split the meal and are stuffed. Soups and salads are pretty good too. Worth the 1/2 hour scenic drive to get there. Couple at the bar also recomnended their pizza. We have been there numerous times and will be goung back!

Amazing neighborhood, family run restaurant, way better than any local chain. All homemade recipes, great steaks and seafood, salad and sandwiches too! We go with our young family for dinner, but also love the later night cozy bar atmosphere, they even have great little bands some nights. Great service, good prices. Highly recommend River Rat!

Food was very overpriced for the quality. Fried fish for upwards of $15, and the entree dish I got was swimming in too much sauce. After our table was cleared, we waited a little more than 15 minutes for our bill.

Great food and a great time! By far one of the nicest restaurants in the Harrison Township Area. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere has an excellent Boat Town USA feel.
