Arrived at 10 AM and there were 4 people to seat and the place was full. At 11:15 AM when we left there was about 25 to 30 people waiting all the way out the door. This was our first time trying out the place. The service was second to none....Tyson was our Waiter! The food was the best so far in the entire Detroit area.....better than the Hudson Cafe and the Dime Store!!! I even tried and ate my hash browns which I Never like eating out but without giving instructions on how to prepare them.....they were perfect with No Oil! My best friend was amazed to see me eating hash browns. Also....they have a French Press with their own blend of Coffee and it was the Only Coffee I have liked anywhere outside of my home or high end coffee shops that roast their own!!! We met the Owner and it was shocking to see a good looking young man that was not fat and he was in the kitchen helping to prepare the food. Everyone else has lost our Breakfast business except this place! Oh and their buttermilk pancakes were perfect! Needless to say.....it was the 1st place in a LONG time where I have not had to send back a plate of food and I told the Owner. Amazing! I had the Egg Whites Cinco de Mayo with hash browns and buttermilk pancakes and French Press Coffee. My best friend had some Mexico style breakfast and it tasted good.....he tried the pancakes and took them from me to finish them off. He was hurting from being so full when we left and I was happily full!! WORTH THE WAIT and the bill was only $36.00 for the two of us with all our extras! We are coming back with all our family and friends! July, 2017 - Update....we went back and someone decided to serve a dish that looked like no one cared and it was so bad I sent it back. The Owner was on vacation and I left a message I wanted to talk with him when he came back. A couple of times I was messaged concern about the problem I incurred while the owner was still on vacation. It was one person who created my displeasure and bad experience and it was a couple of people who cared enough to let me know they were concerned. I have been to this place to eat many times and I will be going back. One bad employees action will not stop me from returning. It is nice to see management cares!

Scheduled a business meeting over breakfast here yesterday. Food was good and the hostess/server we had were great. It was overpriced for what it was, but thats to be expected from any restaurant in Grosse Pointe. The reason I wont go back is because just moments after we paid our bill, we were still meeting and finishing up coffees, the manager asked us to leave, and insinuated that we do it quickly. There were other people waiting for a table and she said they were growing impatient, so we needed to give up our table. We had been there for the time it took to order and eat only, maybe 40 minutes. 1) those people arent my problem 2) I just paid $25 to be here 3) thats extremely rude I like supporting local and dont mind paying more for that, but I do request respect and a comfortable environment. Hopefully Im the only one shes ever done that to.

I love this restaurant, however today, I am quite disappointed. Saturday, I invited a friend there. After bragging on the Jagged Fork we both were dissatisfied. The regular cooks were not working, the food was awful. I had an egg shell in my omelet, therefore my appetite ceased and we took carryouts. Upon eating the remaining food morning, I bit into two pieces of pecan shells in my bannana pecan pancakes. I telephone the restaurant, a manager was not available. Therefore I informed Rachel about the danger of the pecan shells. She indicated that, "they had no control of the shells because thats how the come!" I merely called to inform the Jagged Edge for safety reasons, no compensation or etc. If they can control exposure to nut shells cooked inside pecan pancakes then I will never order them again.

Overpriced Conney island, with less choice in the menu than a coney. The wait would suggest the place is good. Buy please dont make that mistake. Just like many people, WE were curious to know what is attracting the crowd. The answer: nothing besides curiosity. I am so disappointed that I actually just downloaded the yelp app expressly to share my negative feedback. The portions are way too big, sugary and greasy. Service is pushy to make room for the next people. The tables and set up is not able to accommodate more than 4 people. Bottom line: my family and I wasted 2 perfectly good hours of our lives and $90 for a lousy experience. My recommendation: go to Leos or any coney and youll get the same food for half the price and half the time.

Had a kids sleepover so I decided to take them on an adventure to the Jagged Forks new location, as I had used to frequent the location in Grosse Pointe. The waitress was soooooo wonderful, totally wish I remembered her name... Me and 5 children what was a thinking?? The kids loved the Oreo pancakes and the Chocolate chip ones. I had a skillet that had bacon, ham, potatoes, eggs and some veggies...so many flavors my mouth was in heaven! I most likely will not bring 5 children there again because it is a little costly and 5 children??? Really??? Nonetheless, my family and I will definitely be frequenting the Jagged Fork! Thanks Jagged Fork! So happy to have you!

The 1st time I tried The Jagged Fork I was with my daughter, my gosh we were in heaven. The service was outstanding and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. We left feeling like we were the only table in the place and it was a semi-packed Saturday afternoon. Yesterday a group of us joined the early morning rush, and I must say once again OUTSTANIDNG. We lucked up and got the same server I had previously had and dont you know she remembered everything about my last visit. AMAZING. Kuddos to all of you.

The floors were dirty with food at every empty table on the floor. Table not washed or wiped. When complained to manager he tried to say that we just came at a bad time because they too busy to clean up. Made me feel as if I was wrong for asking them to clean the floor and table. Seniors were eating at dirty table with under table the moment they sat down. Coffee was cold and food was cold. Also the hasbrowns were burned. Terrible experience, will never go back . please find another place else to eat.

We came in with a group of 9 before a wedding over the weekend. They were so organized and did such a great job of getting us a table even with the busy Saturday morning rush. Food was fantastic as well, especially the breakfast tamales! One member of our party forgot his credit card and the excellent costumer service continued. I would for sure recommend this restaurant and will return next time Im in the area!

Breakfast burge too hot to touch for a few mins, then the egg bursts all over my hand, burning it. I dont understand how they cannot make sure the yolk is firm. Had to eat the whole thing with a knife and fork while icing my hand. Server saw it and just brought over napkins. When I could eat it, the burger was good. If y I u are going to make a sandwhich, make sure it doesnt squirter napalm.
