This is really unfortunate of me to leave such a negative review like this, and I really dont want to. However, this was my first and last time at Mint today. Let me preface by saying that the food was excellent. The problem was the service. I went on Saturday night at 7:30PM and was one of perhaps three other tables. They were not busy at all. After being seated, I was given papad and chutney... but no water to drink or a menu. After a few minutes, a different person walked by and filled my glass with water but didnt take drink orders or give us a menu... At this point Im a little surprised because I go out to eat a lot and this has never happened to me on this level. We wait, and time how long it is before our waiter (I dont even know if we had one?) finally gave us a menu (and didnt apologize). Another twenty minutes go by before I finally have to stop someone walking by and let them know were ready to order. The person who originally sat us came by and took our order. I was finally able to order a drink. Another ten minutes goes by and our waiter brings our appetizer to the table but not my drink. Finally, a bit later they bring my drink and they apologize - not for the super slow service theyve given - no. They apologized for the drink because it took them a long time to bring me it. Our food arrives. As I said earlier, it was fantastic and Mint is no exception in terms of quality. I loved what I ordered. However, after being there for nearly two hours, I dont think Ill be going back anytime soon. There are other Indian restaurants in the area that I have gone to for years that I know and love. I think I might stick to them for now. Sorry, Mint.

We visited Mint Cuisine for a Sunday dinner, by 7:45 PM and were surprised by how empty it was! The seating is spacious, compared to some of the other Indian restaurants in the Troy/ Novi area. We ordered starters, two sabzis, naan bread and kulcha, all of which were flavourful and well cooked. Prompt service, which might have been also due to the fact that we were the only ones in the restaurant then? The portions are generous. Value for the price. To the owners: the restrooms need serious attention. They were a mess.

Goat Biriyani was excellent! The service was good and the food exceptional! Even the smaller items were so well balanced, from the rich and tangy creaminess of the raita to the silky mango lassi was heaven. Just the spice level I wanted too. Portions are huge, fed us dinner again the next night. Best Indian in the area. Setting is strange and obviously wasnt originally a restaurant. But none of that matters because the food is amazing.

Ive eaten here at least once a week since it opened. The service is always great and the food is always delicious. They mix up the lunch buffet each day, so I love getting to sample things I wouldnt normally order along with the classic dishes. Ive eaten at a handful of Indian restaurants around Michigan and this is hands down my favorite. Everything is INCREDIBLY flavorful!

The food here is great. I would recommend the chicken hara bhara, a very complex curry with a good amount of freshness from the spinach. The Naan I ordered came straight out the oven and was doughy and delicious. I preferred this place to grill of India. Food took a little while to come out but you cant rush perfection. The restaurant is a great option for take out food.

I really enjoyed my food. The food is great. The service is quite slow and somewhat awkward. It was not busy at all when I visited. The atmosphere was quite calm, yet bare..it wasnt really warm or inviting to be honest. But the food was amazing and I will surly get takeout from here regularly.

Fantastic, its been years since Ive had Indian food and this was great i had the lamb vindaloo, spicy. She had the lamb rogen jash, mild. They were both delicious. Two meals, an appraiser and an order of amazing hand made naan all for under $50. well definitely be going back.

Good fresh food and good service. My family likes coming over here for lunch. Prices a little high and buffet could have better vegetarian variety. I have used their catering service multiple times and have had a good experience with the quality of the food.

Mango Lassi was great in size and flavor. The buffet table was clean and constantly being refilled with fresh choices. The flavors were very good and we didnt have to go into Flint or Detroit to get it. Location has a large parking lot.

Mint is a badly needed addition to this area. The menu is thoughtful and complete. The chef has great attention to detail and consistency. I honestly have never had better Indian food in this area. So glad theyre here.

Staff didnt seem very friendly, ordered a chicken and lamb dish, both were chicken, medium spice was like regular, it was just lacking for me. "Grill of India" is much better for my taste.

Excellent for the area. Much better than the Indian restaurant on Linden Rd., where the dishes seem to always be lukewarm. Try the buffet - its good.

The food was great. The chef came out, because our party had food allergies. He told us what each of the two people with food allergies could eat.
