Fabulouso! Food is GREAT! Staff is more like friends after you have been there a few times. If you embrace them in friendship you have a friend for life! Super sweet & kind guys! The food is made fresh so I have never been disappointed! The buffet is great so one can graze and try a wide variety of dishes! Never rushed and always taken care of! I have called from on the highway just 5 minutes before their closing and they cooked me a meal to go! That was really kind! My friends & myself drive 40 minutes to eat there! Grill of India has some of the best food I have eaten! It was as good as when I was in India! Cant say enough good about the food! Tasty! You can order hot or not! And they respect your heat tolerance level. It is always a pleasure!

"One of the most underrated restaurants in Flint." This place is great! Been here multiple times, instances of lunch and dinner both. The waitstaff is fantastic, very attentive and remember faces. Very courteous and will engage with you. The dinner is great- lots of awesome choices. Im a "spice baby", meaning I cant handle much spice, but you can order to your preference. So if you like it spicy, go for it! There was a ton of flavor in the food and plenty of options for the lunch buffet, as well as plenty of options for dinner as well. If you havent given it a try and you like good food, come here! The atmosphere is also very enjoyable. Nice decor and background music, all with a theme and while elegant, casual dress is accepted. Check it out!

Great service and great food! I took my mom and sister here and we ordered a lot of food, not realizing just how much that was going to be! The food came out fast and was hot and tasty. Our server who may have been the owner, was very kind and kept our water topped off. Another server also came by a few times and made friendly conversation. When the bill came, I expected it to be pretty expensive. With 2 appetizers, 3 main dishes and 2 pieces of Naan for each of us, the total was only a little over $40. We left happy and full and had leftovers to take home for later!

Excellent food and service. I have personally had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori shrimp, Tandoori Chicken Tikka, the naan bread sampler, and their Mango Lassi. The Mango Lassi (it is like a smoothie) was amazing, I heartily recommend it to anyone. My favorite naan was the onion kulcha, I look forward to having some every trip. My friends and I have been going there for years and we all keep going back because all of the food is top notch and the service is fast and friendly.

Good Indian food with a great ambience! Restaurant has a bar that serves alcoholic drinks as well. Peppy Punjabi music was a refreshing departure from bollywood music. We were welcomed inside even though they were closing in 20 minutes. Tried the Veg. Biriyani and Saag Paneer + Roti - both were pretty good. They were accommodative of all our requests. Will visit again when I am in the neighborhood.

I live in Ann Arbor, with at least six different Indian restaurants, and Grill was better than anything here. The flavors and ingredients were fresh, the people were nice. Would be great to have wine. The spinach pakora is like a deep-fried spinach salad! More veggies than any place Ive seen. Ill definitely be back on my next trip up north.

The food is satisfying, to the standards of average Indian cuisine, I have had better tastes in my mouth.Their customer service is a little laid back, and might be intimidated by new crowds. The ambiance could be improved so should the technique of cooking and service. I loved the Dal makhani however I would do better on the fish and cold rice.

The food was phenomenal. The chicken was cooked perfectly along with the Great flavor. My husband and I could literally not stop eating. On top of the great food, the customer services was also great. Our waiter was extremely informative, kind, and humorous. He consistently ensured we were satisfied without being overbearing. We will be back!

I visited India a few years ago, and theres been dishes I found there but had yet to find at Indian restaurants in the US... until I found Grill of India. Sometimes when you find authentic ethic food, its been flavored for the American pallet. Not here. I wish that I lived close to Flint so I could come here over and over again.

Service can be a little slow, but the staff is friendly and the food is authentic and amazing. Go for a great dinner, or, if you can make it, hit up the lunch buffet for a chance to try a variety of dishes and some desserts for a pretty good price.

Best Indian food in Mid-Michigan or atleast on the East side of the state for that matter :) Their dishes are perfectly spicy and all of their food has always been tasty! I always eat here when I am in the area, coming from west michigan.

Love the buffet- affordable and delicious! This is the only Indian place around but it is done well or we wouldnt bother going. The best part about the buffet is that some of the items are spiced well unlike other buffets that are bland.

Amazing staff and knowledge member as to gluten allergies (the individual that speaks fluent). Having celiacs I have enjoyed my Dinning experience here without issues and avoiding the wheat items still affords me a lot to choose from

A true diamond in the rough of Flint. My chicken makhani was hot, fresh and delicious and the garlic naan is to die for. Service was prompt and polite. Its never cheap to eat Indian food but the price wasnt outrageous, either.

About the best Indian Food I have had anywhere in the US. The portions are just enough to fill you up, and are reasonably prices. The staff is friendly, and if you visit regularly, they do tend to remember you.

I would give four stars but nothing compares to this in the area. The food is amazing. Ive only ever had the lunch buffet. I cannot get the staff to smile at me. They are however very polite and prompt.

This is the best Indian food we have found in a 75 mile radius of Waterford. Very polite wait staff. Clean and quaint environment. Highly recommend visiting this resturant.
