I work at the auto plant down the street, we have very few choices for food on lunch break. I was very excited when I learned of this place opening, as were many of my co-workers. But I am on B-shift, so they close 15 minutes before my (and 500+ other peoples) lunch break. Seems like a bad business model to me but they can close whenever they choose. So if we want to eat here we are forced to try to get our food on an earlier break, which is barely enough time to get there and back if there is no line (which there always is because we are all there in the same 15 minute window). I have ordered food from here 4 times now and they have yet to get my order correct. What food I did receive was average at best, not worth the risk of having your order wrong on your break when you dont have time to fix it.

I love that this community has a good wholesome burger joint that refuses to deny Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! Its a blessing to me, truly. I have some quality time with folks in that joint about the Word of God and I have been grateful for it. The food is great! I enjoy the unique burgers like the "Boom Boom" and "Alamo". Thats where the place shines in their food; Burgers, fries and shakes! I pray God blesses them further and they stay on track of giving good food while praising Jesus. Open about a year finally a trip to Flat rock made for a scrumptious day of fun food. Unique quaint interior thing 1950 soda fountain setup. We tried quite a few sliders off the menu a instant hit be the Krispy Kreme Donut Burger gotta make these at home. Double Slider, Chili Slider and one with yummy heat level of sauce and jalapeños my favorite. Had Onion Rinds and Fries spot on delicious. We going back for Malts, Chili and more sliders. Gotta give a HIGH FIVE to Wimpy Burger!! Not only did we get really really good cheeseburgers, onion rings and fries.......both very tasty but we got a surprise when my fiancee left his wallet at the shop and the owner came to our house, personally,to return it!! HAT TIP and a heartfelt THANK YOU to the owner and family!! The staff is friendly and makes you feel "at home" in their super cool establishment!! We loved the decor and the oldy but goody music playing!! 3 CHEERS FOR WIMPY BURGER!!!! We will definitely return!!

They have "The BEST milkshakes ever! Burgers are like sliders small and tasty. Good onion rings and French fries. Clean and friendly place. Coke products which I love. I hate when you go to a restaurant and you ask for a Coke, then a waitress says is a " Pepsi alright? NO lol. They have Hot dogs soup and Corn dogs too. Great Little place. Places to sit outside on a nice day if you have your dog with you.

Ive been here numerous times and my kids love it! We always have a pleasant experience and the prices are very reasonable. The last time we came in, I had two of my kids with me, and the owner gave them 2 packs of m&ms on our way out! Love the old town feel to it, great addition to FR, hope it stays!

This is a great little diner with creative burger options. The shakes are huge and delicious. The burgers are fresh with a nice crispy bun and not too big, but larger than a slider. This reminds me of old fashioned burgers with just the right amount of flavor. Really reasonable prices, too!

Hopefully, this place takes off! Burgers were excellent as were the fries. The decor was certainly meant to evoke an old timey soda shop and for me (having never been to an old timey soda shop), felt just about right. The prices were about in line with what I expected. Ill definitely be back!

This place is amazing and the food is great. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the lack of hair nets. My girlfriend and I have found a hair or 2 in our food on almost each visit. I try to look over this because of how good the food is but it would be a alot better minus hair.

Great bunch of people! If youve ever had Brays or Bates in Westland, Whimpys is much better! Made fresh to order with a smile. I work at the big plant down the road and was soooo glad when I went there when they opened. Customer for life!
