Warning: awful sanitation. Decent food (I got pulled pork sliders and had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer), but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The waitress left a table of 3 with empty water glasses for literally 10 minutes before finally coming around. The place wasnt even that busy. The wifi was also abysmal (literally on par with Amtrak, which says a lot) and inexcusable in a large city in 2016. Bathrooms also need some maintenance and better cleaning. Now, the real reason I left 1 star? A cockroach in the food of someone at my table. That is unacceptable, and indicates some serious sanitation issues back in the kitchen. The waiter discounted our table and comped his order, but that is disgusting.

A very bad experience. Went there after a musical, 9 of us. Placed food order after waiting about 15 mins. Most items were unavailable because they didnt have ingredients. After ordering, bar maid had to come back to tell us even more items were "out". Appetizers came with dinner. 2 Mexican dishes that called for chorizo were served without, hoping we wouldnt notice. 2 pizzas came out before any other food. A final pizza came out an hour after we ordered. We asked why, she said she sent the original back because it was wrong.....it was wrong anyway. This is a beer bar.....no a place to eat. No pride, no apologies, all attitude. Ill never go back.

First time there tonight after the impractical jokers show at the fox and we had the worst experience. First we waited 45 minutes for the food, when we got the food the sweet potato fries were very cold, second my husband ordered the burger with no cheese and sure enough they put cheese on it and the cherry that topped it off was my first bite of the chicken sandwich and a hair was in it!!! Then the waiter tells us it will be another 40 minutes to get out meals, thats absolutely rediculious! Walked out and will never go there again!

Went in and they only had one server on the clock, and seemingly one cook as well. Not only did the food take obnoxiously long to come out, but the cook made sure to walk as slow as possible when bringing it to us. The server also neglected to bring my friends change back, along with $.5 of my change. I know a nickle isnt much, but Id appreciate if all my change was returned to me. Ohh and the burger was undercooked. Overall bad experience and the staff seem pretty lazy.

Terrible service, was never served food after placing an order an hour earlier. Servers said, "do you want to place an order, lay it on me now". Rude and never apologized for anything. A daytime Tigers game with a full house and was only staffed with three people. I will never go here again and have told people as well. I wouldnt even give them a star but they wont accept the post without at least one.

Great cozy tavern. If what you want is a nice unhealthy sandwich and a nice ice-cold beer with friends, this is the place. Dont bother coming when theres a sports thing going on. Dont try and order the most fancy cocktail you can think of: this isnt that kind of place. Get a beer (or a pitcher), and chill out until your food gets there cause it might not be instantaneous, then enjoy pigging out.

The burger Id give a 6 on a 10 scale. The kitchen was running slow took 25min for the first 4 burgers and frys and 45min for the 5th burger. They did subtract the 5th from the bill and apologies but based on this experience we wont return for lunch any time soon. Attractive bar tender / server. Probably a great place to order a drink.

Came here before a Thursday Tigers with a group of 7. The staff seems completely disorganized. Took about an hour to get our food. The ran out of silverware. How do you run out of silverware? Its not the first game of the year so they should know the routine by now. Dont think Ill come back for another game day.

They treated us like we were slums from the streets. Were out for our best friends father bday on the bar bike downtown detroit. We walked in the bartender mocked my friend , making fun of her urban tone. Totally racist. They didnt want to take our orders. Completely rude.

REALLY?!?! SO NOW THEY CHARGE .50 FOR EVERY TAKE-OUT BOX...... I USE TO COME HERE FOR YEARS AND NOW THIS... ALONG WITH ANOTHER BUCK ON EVERY MENU PRICE. CMON I CAN GO DOWN THE ROAD AND THEY EVEN DELIVER FOR FREE BECAUSE WE ARE SO CLOSE. CMON GUYS. YOU USE TO BE GOOD.

Great experience. The bar staff made me feel both welcome and like i was family after meeting me for the first time. The food was fuc#@ING amazing i had wings and fries with queso dip in the side. I almost passed out. Deelish. I recommend you come on down.

Cool spot had a great burger, played trivia even won a free beer Ill for sure go back. Only downfall the womens bathroom is a safety hazard toilet was leaking water all over the floor. I told the server his reply was "again" and did nothing about it.

We were here on a Tiger game night, packed, our bad : ( Our poor waitress was running! Had to flag her down for drinks, food took a long while to get. Had to scarf down our food 45 mins later. They could use more Wait staff on game nights!

Great laid back Detroit bar. They have a decent selection on tap, drink prices arent too bad, and it beats the hell out of Hockeytown. People dont realize its there despite being a block away from Woodward right by the stadium, their loss.

Food took FOREVER. Ordered an appetizer, that took 45 minutes. We walked out before we got our Burger and Ruben, we waited over an hour. The replacement waiter was nice but we needed to leave to get to the show at the Opera House.

Understaffed on a Saturday night. My wife and I were going to a show at the Fox and got a table 90 minutes before showtime. Took the waiter 20 minutes to show up and take the order. He never came back. We left after an hour.

Bad food, mediocre service, good beer, great location for Tigers games. I would come back if I had to, but I wouldnt come hungry. Worst spinach dip ever, worst restaurant fries, sweet potato fries were good.

Beer was cold that is all you had going for you. Chicken was cold. Ordered Mexican frys they where cold and cheese was not even melted. Someone just throw shredded cheese on them and called them good.

Ice cold beer and very good pub food. I recommend the pizza. Walking distance to Comerica park and many other downtown activities. Always a go-to local hot spot when I come back to visit DETROIT!
