Nice place. Went here countless times after I would be done at WSU campus. The owner is nice. I did not like the fact that they serve Halal meat here but fail to control cross contamination. I do not have to have Halal but for my friends who do it was not appealing to see them slice ham on the same table where the Halal meats were. If it was simply non-Halal chicken, turkey or beef I would not be worried. But it bothered me that being a pork product they would do that. I would always go with a friend (who eats only Halal) and so when the friend pointed out the issue we decided that we would not come again. I think that for anyone on campus who does eat Halal you should think about this. Their are many, many people who are Muslim or Jewish that go to school around here, especially in the Medical school just down the street. If they were able to correct that issue I might come back. I have several friends who work at the DMC and other medical facilities in the area, so I am still down there quite often. Nonetheless the food quality is very good.

The best sandwiches which i ever ...... i meant ever had in my whole life, food alone doesnt keep people coming to the place its the service which actually pumps it , guess what you find the nicest persons in the whole earth ..... I had visited more than 100 times in last 2 years never i meant again ...... never they disappointed me. The key success to this joint is staff prepare sandwiches with love. That is the reason they turn out pretty amazing, fantastic, mouth watering holy hell everything.

When i was a student at Wayne State University this used to be THE place to eat as far as i was concerned. The most friendly people youll ever meet. They are so courteous, warm and welcoming. I miss the place and the campus so much and i have no reason why it took me so long to try to connect back with them. If the folks at the Blimpie - Wayne State campus see this please connect back.
