Very disappointed in the food. With a google review of 4.4 I figured this food will be amazing. I ordered ribs, sliders, chicken, and Mac and cheese... all of which were disgusting. The ribs were overpriced and very rough. The chicken was not seasoned correctly or just tasted flat out nasty. The sliders were flavorless. The Mac and cheese was okay. All of the foods I ordered, Ive made much better. I wasnt the only one who didnt enjoy the food, all of my family members hated it! The bbq sauce was bland, sweet baby rays tastes much better than that. All together I would not recommend anyone get food from here. Youre better off barbecuing your own food for something much tastier.

I stopped by the Meat Shop for lunch on my first visit. The remodeled building is very clean and inviting. The menu is small and a little on the pricey side. I was surprised my order took about 10 minutes to package. BBQ is usually pretty quick as the meat is already hot and ready to go, usually just requiring a quick chop, with sides already prepped. I dont know what kind of voodoo magic they were doing back there, the wait and price were well worth it! I ordered the 1/2lb Brisket sandwich and it was amazing! I travel all over the country and world, and it is rare to find BBQ at this level.

Walk in and order at counter, Amazingly Flavored Meats. Highly Recommend the Beef Short Rib. Large Enough for 2 people. A little hard to eat with plastic utensils. Also ordered The Beef Brisket Sandwich which had 2 slider type sandwiches, my parents stated they were messy to eat. A Mgr recommended next time to order the meat by themselves for the full flavors. Over heard Pastrami and the Beef Brisket are the favorites. They had an event for their 1 Year Anniversary with a bounce house, and order food from their menu, offered 3 flavors of free beer for Tasting.

Baked beans are great, loaded with meat and flavor. Ribs are well cooked, and nice presentation, and although pricier than Happys, where I usually go, the sides are better quality. Mac and cheese is run of the mill, but I covered it in the espresso sauce, which is amazing! Sliders were not so great, wish bun was toasted on both sides. Cheese was barely melted, onions were just lightly grilled, would have been better if they were more caramelized. Over all, decent food for a decent price, our family would eat here again.

They started out awesome but the quality has tanked. The last three times Ive been there the ribs were so bad we had to scrape them off of the bones. The meat, when cooked right, should practically fall off. Dont know if they are cutting corners or what but this is disappointing.

New place with room for improvement. On the good side... brisket, mac n cheese, baked beans, portions. Needs improvement... need more smoke, tuff wings, bland slaw, tuff ribs.

Brisket is the best Ive ever had. Fall apart tender moist perfect amount of smoke. Spicy sauce is top notch perfect amount of heat.

Pretty expensive and the beef rib was $16 and absolutely inedible because it was chewy, tough and the fat was not rendered.
