Decided to treat my daughter to an early dinner after getting her nails done yesterday afternoon. Ordered steamed won tons and a sweet and sour chicken dinner to go. What we got was a quart of sweet & sour chicken, a pint of sauce, a pint of white rice and the steamed dumplings. No fried rice. No egg roll. Should have checked the order I guess. Although the order wasnt correct the heavily breaded chicken was bland and greasy at best but it was edible. I would have said this was a passable place in a pinch EXCEPT the steamed dumplings which must come covered and/or are stored in some type of plastic cellophane which the cook forgot to remove prior to cooking !! Just disgusting not to mention dangerous biting into a dumpling and finding a dumpling size wad of plastic! The place was empty .. just no reason for such careless food prep. I wish I had thought to read the reviews first and saved myself the $20 bucks I paid to throw away food and disappointing my daughter. AND, and, and almost to add insult to injury the lady at the counter is very curt and does dont speak/understand english. Its fine if English isnt your first language but dont be upset when asked to repeat yourself and for crying in the mud dont be rude!

We really enjoy Chinese food, and we received a menu from here in the mail with a few coupons on it. We got extra spicy general taos chicken, and spicy szechuan chicken and got an order of crab rangoons for free w/ coupon. First thing we noticed was that the rangoons had no crab, no onion, nothing. They were basically like plain cream cheese in a wonton wrapper. Not good. The szechuan chicken is usually my benchmark for Chinese food places. This stuff was nasty. The chicken was gummy and tasteless, and the sauce was thin and also lacking of flavor. I enjoyed the broccoli and carrots out of it, but the rest of the dish was a huge disappointment. I couldnt detect the slightest hint of spice. The generals chicken was passable at best. The sauce was nicely flavored but the chicken was mushy. Better than the szechuan though. Even though we ordered extra spicy, this one also was not spicy at all. Overall, even with free crab Rangoons, this was probably the most disappointing Chinese food experience Ive had in the area. Go to ka hing, yummy house, or hangs bistro instead.

Ive been here several times to pick up lunch for myself and co-workers as well as family. So I thought I would go in sit down and eat one day. As the waiter (assuming thats who he was) came to bring us our soup we noticed that he had snot coming from his nose running down his lips. We told the owners wife and she was rude and very upset that we decided to leave and told us that "Im dont think it got in your food". Then after I told her I see the gentleman go back into the kitchen and continue cooking. Because of this i havent been to another chinese restaurant Never again will I go here and dont recomend it for anyone. I wish I could give minus 3stars.

Terrible TERRIBLE service. Found a 2-inch piece of metal in my nephews egg roll. Called up to tell them what had happened, and when I did they hung up on me. So I then drove back to China Town to get my money back, they were super rude about the whole situation and were trying to tell me they did not speak English and if I cared about my nephew I would be with him and not up at the restaurant. Also egg roll incident aside food is average, wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Been going here for couple of years. They have always got our order right. The food is always hot. Very rarely have had to wait for any period of time. They are family ran so yes I have walked in to order and them sitting having their dinner. They will get up and and take care of me. Friendly but a little on the shy side. Do wish the dinning room was cleaner. From what I can see the kitchen looks clean.

I live nearby this restaurant and decided to give them a try. I was surprised to find out the food is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Its not the typical goopy Americanized Chinese food you seem to find in the Midwest. And the folks that run the place are very nice. Its always busy there and now I know why! Definitely worth the trip.

Semi regular customers but we were very disappointed today. Ordered egg rolls to go for a snack at home. Just a bunch of kids running the store. All of the tables had dirty dishes on them. When I got my food home the insides were ice cold! We had to microwave them. When the adults are present the food is very good. Tonight, poor.

The food is good but since the summer theres been a young lady answering the phone & cashering & she has screwed my order up everytime!! I am always missing something or I get something completely different than what I ordered. Not trying to be mean but from now on if she answers when I call, Ill just hang up & order from Boon Kai.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately either theyve come under new management or theyve just let their standards drop. We ordered crab rangoon and there was no crab. We waited almost an hour for our order. And it was horrible. Please save yourself the headache and dont order from this restaurant.

Excellent food and fast service! I travel around the Metro area everyday and I eat at a lot of Chinese carry-out restaurants. This is the only one that’s worth driving out of the way for. I’ve never had a bad meal and the dining room is nice enough to eat in too.

Heard good things about this place and then finally ordered. Got Burned Food with BURNED gravy. RUINED the whole meal. Actually threw it out. Will not go back...Golden Panda is on the otherside of me and they are 2 for 2 with good food and great pricing.

Worst customer receiving, no good food and ridiculous behaviour by servicing people at the restaurant. I never suggest this restaurant to any one. I went first time and thats the last time. Last but not least dont even think of about this restaurant

Portions are large and there was fast service. Ordered beef with veggies, and chicken and broccoli. Barely any meat in both, and the chicken was nasty. Both had no flavor so extra soy sauce was needed.
