We stopped in here for the first time after visiting the Farmers market. Its quite an adorable establishment. Neither of us can fully speak to the options offered for vegans but there were many which is really great because they are catering to people who search for those options. However, Im very unsatistied with the entirety of our experience. We walked in with the intent of coffee,someone was in line paying and we were waiting and "ooing and ahhhing " at the menu options. No one said anything to us. While standing at the case a man zipped by us told the lady what he wanted and proceeded to the end in anticipation of his drink, he didnt pay (or at least I didnt see him pay) and we waited. Many people were filtering in and most people were greeted by name or at least with a smile. I had the feeling most of their customers were regulars which was great but I was still waiting to order my coffee. It was almost like walking into someones home uninvited. Finally the woman behind the counter took our order and I noticed her pin said "general manager" and her demeanor was odd, just very lackadaisical. The coffee was okay. And Im sure part of this review is biased based on the fact that Ive worked in customer service my entire career. It was on a whim that we entered the shop, and after our experience probably wont go back.

Josh with the black hair and glasses custom made my latte! Fantastic! I had to recommend him to my boss who is a coffee aficionado and frequent Michigan visitor (has family there). The expresso used was superb and the freshly made 3 cheese breakfast burrito was gourmet heaven. The staff is a very happy bunch and I hope they stay there a long time. Simple, clean eating at its best. Next door they have a food-coop if you need groceries which is pretty cool!

A cute place attached to the food co-op. I got a large chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. It was $2.25. It was delicious.
