Okay, yeah the food is good and prices are reasonable. Pita wraps, shwarma, fatoosh, grape leaves, hummus, your standard Middle Eastern fare. Try the fried broccoli appetizer, its delicious. Sorry, I gotta ding this place a couple stars for two big reasons. First, the service for a mid-afternoon weekday lunch was horrible. There were only a few other patrons who filed out shortly after our arrival. Our server was friendly and constantly smiling but he never noticed us because he stayed behind the cash register desk. He was also easily distracted by conversation with other employees, take out orders, you name it. More than once I had to approach him rather than the other way around. Cant remember when Ive had service this bad before. Secondly, even though it was a mild 50 degrees outside, the restaurant was freezing as if they didnt have the heat on. Very distracting by the end of the meal. Couldnt wait to get out of there. All that said, I would definitely give another try because of the food. Come on guys, you have the food down, figure the rest out!

ordered a kids meal for our son here, he started itching his eyes during the meal then by the time we got out to the car he was swollen.. the only thing he is allergic to is tree nuts which is not meant to be in the food we ordered him and apparently there must have been traces of it or maybe it was cooked in the same pan as food before without being washed? anyway we were in the hospital after that with him because he had something with tree nut in his food when there was not suppose to be any.. in his kids meal. He has eaten foods from other middle eastern restaurant with no issue. We ordered him the kids menu chicken and rice.

I have eaten at Zamaan three times now and every time it has been great. The flavor of the food is great, the portions are huge (even the "small" size). Prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food. The orders also come with lots of pita bread. I dont eat meat very often because it is so expensive. Zamaan is a treat, I get my protein fill for a great price. I loved the salad too, it was a great addition to the meat and rice. The salad was fresh and crisp. I recommend the meat sampler platter, the chicken wings and the fatoush salad.

We went for my birthday. They completely forgot to bring my meal and my dads salad. Messed up a few other things, then knocked an ice-filled glass on my fiance. The food was ok, but mine went home in a doggie bag cuz everyone finished by the time they were coerced into bringing my wrap. The music CD was constantly skipping. Cant recall a less enjoyable restaurant meal. The smoothies were tasty.

Great Sandwiches! We carried out sandwiches and we were all satisfied. The Falafel were warm and crunchy, one of the best falafel sandwiches in the Ann Arbor area . I ordered a fried cauliflower sandwich and added feta cheese and Tabboulie (my own creation, and they accommodated) it was so delicious. My friend also liked his meat shawarma sandwich.

Bad experience. Portion of food is TERRIBLE. Prices are ridiculous - your website says one price and you say oh well thats 4 years out of date? Are you kidding? I got 3 meatballs that are the size of frozen meatballs in a bag for $11... not only that but the guy said $9, then $10, and then now its $11+ whatever. Not going back ever.

I visited this humble spot while in the area for something else. Prices were decent for the portions received. I compared the dishes to what I have locally and Zamaan had its own unique flavor for their Shawarma and Lentil soup, eve. They also had a variety of Baklava flavors. Will visit again if Im ever around.

Outstanding food! I tried the falafel wrap, eggplant and rice wrap, spinach pies, and the grape leaves. Everything was very flavorful! I didnt expect to get the amount of food for the price I paid, either. Great value! I will be returning.

Hands down the best Mediterranean in Ann Arbor! I eat here at least once a week and cant get enough of the Chicken shawarma with feta. Staff is great and prices are good! You have to try this...
