First of all it was not what I was expecting at all. They need more room for people to walk around in the seating area so you are not hitting people while they are eating. The other thing I found very tactful was the sign you server should be tipped if they did a good job. First of all this is a buffet and what are they really doing for you, besides refilling soda and removing a plate hey you could put a bin and a soda refill island and their goes their jobs, so yes if they go out of their way people are smart enough to tip you dont need the signs really tactful, Now the other thing the bug the crap out of me was the wait staff it self yes they are friendly, but every five minutes buggy you so that you can even chew you own food over doing it. On top of it the person who waited on us asked me for the receipt and I told her my husband had it and he would be right back. Now I dont know if she didnt know the difference between my husband and my daughters boyfriend but asked him for the receipt I think that was over doing it. Once my husband come back we made sure we showed her the receipt I felt like I was accused of stealing from the place. Now remember you cant even get in without paying and getting a glass for soda. Now I am reading all the post how the food was good well these people must not have taste buds or know people who work there or got paid for a good review. The food was way over cooked. The only thing that was good was the guy who cooked the steak he did a wonderful job and for one guy I wouldnt lose him. They need to train someone else like him and the one fault was they did not have enough guys cooking. They also did not have enough product to replace the stuff they were running out of making it impossible to people to get food and it a jam in the lines and to move around. So if you wanted something you had to stand there and wait and hope it seemed while the food you did have on you plate got cold. The only reason why I went was because we heard people talk about how wonderful Golden Corral was so we decided to go. These people usually have good taste in restaurants which now makes me wonder why they think this is a wonderful place to eat. Will I go back here no way. I would rather go to fast food then here and I suggest to anyone else to do the same. And for me to say that as I dont eat fast food and do like buffets this is a disappointment.

This may be a bit bias as Ive been homeless for a month. Living in a hotel. We do have a tiny fridge and convectional oven, but to walk in here and see tables, chairs, silverware not plastic. And knowing I dont have to do the dishes. This place is awesome! Theres a long windy row of hot foods i didnt cook. That smell wonderful. Fried chicken, buttery yeast rolls, tomatoes that werent real ripe, but they werent moldy from a cooler either, fresh seafood salad, really savory grilled thick zucchini chunks with butter and herbs exploding in each juicy bite. Crisp lettuce that was crunchy, not wilting from forgetting to put it back in the cooler. Theres hand santizer foam. Around too. And the plates are in the middle of it all, so you can go toeards salad or hot food, not having to walk the whole place, if you want something on the other end. Did notice service was slow, and my 12 yr old daughter had a 2" piece of woodcrate in her salad, luckily she wasnt hurt by it. The manager ended up giving us 4 free meals for it. And apologized. That was nice. We look forward to going back when we find a home and life is a little easier to breathe through. But it was only $58 for the 6 of us to eat. 2 kids 4 adults. For all you can eat and not having to cook, use paper plates, wash plasticware. And have the luxury of a chair and table with my family. That was quite a treat. :) appreciate the little things ;)

This place is terrible.. My husband and I have eaten at Golden Corral in FL and the food and service was excellent. But, this place was gross and nasty, from the food to the staff. Not the selection you see advised. We took a ride from the New Haven CT area. The only good thing about lunch was the ride!.. The food did not even look appetizing. What we did try, the roast , hamburger, hot dog, chicken- all was nasty. The rest of the food was not any better. ( potatoes, veggies were soggy and tasteless.) There is a large salad bar with a lot to choose from but the place is not very clean. Never saw so many dirty & chipped dishes anywhere. I would have thrown them out if I had them in my home. Silverware was wet, made sure we cleaned it off before using it.. This place advertises the BEST BUFFET .. THEY SHOULD THINK THAT OVER AGAIN. Very disappointing and was not worth the money. You would get a better meal at fast food ( and thats not saying very much). Dessert bar was just as bad. We paid $7.99 + $1.99 for drink each and it was not even worth that much. I WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO SOMEONE I DONT LIKE!!

Plus side...the food was decent and the variety quite astounding. Everyone will find something they like. NEGATIVE SIDE...the staff stinks!!!! First, the MALE staff continuously OGLED my teen-aged daughter and made openly inappropriate (perverted) remarks about her which made us both uncomfortable. Next, a staff member was about to clean the restroom but had not yet entered when I told him that I really needed the facilities and he absolutely REFUSED to let me go in first. A line of seven women eventually formed and a few tried to get into the bathroom but this person still REFUSED to allow us to use the facilities. Third, the cashier was chatting on her cellphone while we waited to pay and she continued her personal phone conversation during our transaction. This Golden Corral seems to be staffed with trashy and ill-mannered, ignorant people who desperately need some kind of etiquette classes. I dont feel I can trust eating food prepared by such crude, ignorant people. Enjoy your visit!

As far as buffets go, it was one of the best Ive been to. Now I wont lie, Im a food snob, that being said I can enjoy simpler restaurants with the best of them. We went on a Sunday and was blown away by the amount of people there was, I thought it was military Monday all over again. Having tried a lot of golden corrals down south, I was shocked by how good the food was here, fresh, tasty, cheap...how do you go wrong? You dont! So yes be prepared to wait in line for awhile and understand tables are close together but as some reviews... Food reviews at that I dont understand how black white or Latino plays a damn part in the restaurant. If you dont like something or they are not doing something right, its your dumba$$ fault for not speaking up to a manager and giving them the chance to fix something... Oh and $3.99 for a lobster tail...hell yeah!
