Superb is where I would start when describing not only the restaurant but the service at Osteria Posto. I held an all day event here yesterday, starting at 8am and ending at 9pm. There was not one point throughout the day where I was not exceptionally impressed with our service. The staff was so attentive during breakfast, bringing out fresh fruit, pastries and coffee at the first sight of anything being remotely low. They continued to freshen up our room and refill beverages, with the most cautious care of keeping quiet for our group. Lunch was served promptly at the time of break, delicious salads and pizza- being sure that all of our guests were satisfied, even making last minute vegetarian options available for an unexpected guest. Ending with light and fluffy tiramisu. Everyone raved about the food! Once our day was ended, we left the private dining area to enjoy the outdoor patio for cocktails while our room was (rapidly) switched over for our evening event. Once I walked into the room, I noticed that it was not quite set up in the best way to see our speaker. Our event planner, Bridget, changed the room up right away exactly how I asked and not one question or fuss about it. Again, food was put out and looked gorgeous and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The only downfall that we experienced was the rowdy group that was sharing the room on the other side of the dividing wall. Bridget, again went above and beyond to try to quiet the group, and then proceeded to check with the Westin Hotel across the street to see if they had a microphone that our speaker could use. At the end of the evening Bridget gave our group a complementary Prosecco toast as an apology for the noisy group...which was completely out of her control not to mention! I can not wait to visit this restaurant again for not only professional use but personal enjoyment as well! For an exceptional and personalized experience I would put Osteria Posto on the very top of my list. I have never endured such a great experience in all the restaurants and venues I have used. BRAVO!

Osteria Posto – Waltham, MA – 7/14/2014 Beautifully decorated… Modern… Open and airy… All the elements of a fine steak house in their booths yet lighter in color with beautifully decorated and set tables thruout. These people get it. Not a person walked by my table without a smile and a hello… Ken the GM is a hands-on manager that really makes you feel at home. He clearly lives what he does and it shows. My server Robin was positively delightful! Knows the menu and with passion paints a mental picture of each dish so that you can almost taste it from description. My kind of server! They, like most, bring their bread in from Iggy’s and for good reason… Iggy’s knows bread… Four hearty slices of Italian goodness! Infused Olive Oil and a pat of soft butter… Arugula… Endive, Gorgonzola Picante Honey + Thyme Vinaigrette… Beautifully plated and the way they do the Gorgonzola is unlike what you may have had before… Where art meets cuisine! You taste the cheese and then the Picante Honey reminds you that this is not the cheese you picked up at the supermarket… Fabulous! The main this evening… The Whole Branzino… Fennel + Frisée Salad, Citrus Vinaigrette, Romesco Sauce… With a side of Foraged + Domestic Mushrooms, Shallot, Thyme and Marsala… Nicely plated and flavourful. I would have them bone it for you for convenience but only after serving. It too pretty to not see it prior to honing… The dessert menu was extremely tempting. I just opted for one single scoop of lemon sorbet and my signature cappuccino! Another great dinner. Whether you come solo or with an entourage, theres certainly something here for even the most discerning palate…

Stephani should be given a bonus and promoted. She was an excellent waitress who knew the menu perfectly and was able to provide great descriptions of the dishes in response to our questions, same with the wines! Food was delicious (the Lemon Arancini, Gnocchi, Swordfish, and Salmon were all fantastic, savory, and perfectly balanced dishes that werent over powering or too rich) In addition at the end, Stephani provided a great list of restaurants for us in Denver, CO as we are going there and she even wrote them down and identified locations and local tips for taking customers there. Awesome experience and great food, please reward her for great work and the staff for excellent food.

Awesome food and drinks. I took my husband to our first "his birthday" as a couple. I met the manager who I spoke to prior to the dinner. My husbands mom called them, she paid for a round of drinks and they were so awesome bringing it right away and not sending a waiterbefore they did! Desert was on them and they wrote happy birthday on the plate with chocolate. All on them. Went back with hima few timea after that and he took his friends there a few times since his birthday. We like the place, good food (sea food stew, gnocchi, pork chops, calamari) and the drinks, but most of all, the staff!

A group of ladies went out for a fun night, no budget ready to enjoy nice wines and fabulous food. Unfortunately, got to the restaurant and felt that we were putting them out. Service was POOR, ordered a bottle of wine just poured, not an opportunity to taste, then disappeared. Finally, after lots of tension asked waitress if there was a problem, were they closing in 20 minutes. No explanation of food or specials. Sorry for them we would have ordered more and been more comfortable but Robin did not make us feel welcome. Will not be back.

My friends and I were staying at the Westin across the street from Osteria Posto, after a long day of traveling we were starving and decided to have dinner at Osteria Posto. I never really take the time to write reviews but this restaurant really understands customer service. We were blown away with how the entire staff went above and beyond to make our dinner experience amazing. Especially Michael Maagero the restaurant manager. Thank you!

Food was quite good, as well as the unique cocktails, however the service has a long way to go if its going to match the price point. Waitress forgot our drinks on the bar for 25 minutes and didnt even offer to comp them....had to ask her where they were AFTER finishing our apps. Also the policy of not taking the order for apps until ready to order entrees is asinine.

I give this place 5 stars because I really enjoyed the place and the food. We had the shrimp cocktail and the meatballs as appetizers. Then had the gnocchi with shrimp and everything was absolutely delicious!. But the best part was the service!! We had Jose at our table and he was very kind and fast with the service. I will definitely come back

Celebrated my 71st birthday with my family last night. Not only was the food superb but the service was impeccable! Five stars is not enough, but if thats the highest rating I can give then I give it with my greatest gratitude for a wonderful dinner and birthday celebration. Kudos!

The food was delicious and satisfying. I was able to try their short rib gnocchi and a couple of their piazzas, which were all very tasty. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I really like their decor, too. Definitely give it a try!

A big surprise, but in the best of ways. The food was delicious and well prepared. The chef knows what he or she is doing. I would happily eat there again, several times a week if I had the opportunity. Good staff too. Bravo!
