I met with a friend for lunch to celebrate good news for both of us. She has a new job and Ive just been married! The venue was perfect for catching up - quiet, relaxing, attractive. It was also very convenient; I got great metered street parking nearby, and she arrived via bus at a stop immediately in front of the restaurant. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. All of the staff were very friendly and professional, in fact. My friend and I enjoyed a prosecco toast to our good news, and then shared the grilled salmon lunch and beet salad with chicken. Both were politely portioned and delicious. For dessert we shared a most delightful profiterole that was to die for. We both wished we could lick the plate clean, but were happy to observe that this restaurant was too nice to indulge in that sort of behavior! I was really impressed after we left. I realized Id forgotten to check in with my OpenTable reservation. Although they seated us with no problem as walk-ins, I called to ask if they could apply my points after the fact. Although our "no-show" reservation had been canceled in their system, they allowed me to make a new reservation so they could check me in for the points I would have otherwise missed out on! Big thanks to our server Michelle, the hostess (Nicole, I think), and the manager with whom I spoke on the phone (I regret I didnt catch his name). Together the latter two figured out a way to meet my extra request, which was certainly a favor above and beyond anything they needed to do to satisfy. Superlative!

As a long time customer of the Lexx I found my latest visit well below par. Firstly no beer on tap, a disappointment but hardly disastrous. The beet salad was more of an arugula salad with with beets, despite there being no mention of arugula leaves on the menu item. The turkey club sandwich was devoid of lettuce and contained two slices of bread not three. {Check the dictionary definition of a club sandwich]. A fried clams appetizer was ordered but fish tacos were delivered. The glass of water ordered never arrived. The chocolate cake dessert took 15 minutes to appear and was disgustingly sweet. Only one of us could stomach the coffee. I hope we caught you on a bad day. JAC

My first trip here was a memorable one! This place is located right on the main street and easy to find if youre using GPS or are new to the area. We ate at 6:30 pm and it was fairly quiet on a Tuesday evening. I ordered the Pork Ossobuco and oh my goodness! The pork was roasted to perfection. It fell off the bone, no need for a knife here! The sauce was divine and the mashed potatoes paired well with it! I am usually not a fan of greens like the Swiss Chard but it was a very nice addition to the plate and tasty. If youre looking for a nice place to eat in Lexington, I highly recommend Lexx!

The food itself was quite good -- solid beef tips and fall-off-the-bone ribs -- but the service was abominable. Our waiter was so green he should have been in the salad. Couldnt remember our order, left us sitting for about 15 minutes longer than was reasonable between appetizer and entree, and threw away my to-go bag in the time it took me to put on my coat. Its inexcusable that someplace that charges this much would hire someone not fit to work at Applebees. Will think twice about going back, despite it being convenient.

Came here 6 months ago and the hummus appetizer was great as well as the Scallops dinner. However this last trip was the ultimate disappointment. The hummus was still great, but my friends burger was tasteless, the mac and cheese looked delicious but had no taste, the jambalaya of all things looked and tasted like it had been rinsed off under water, strained and put on my sis plate. Should have read previous post about the inconsistency. It could be great, but it could also be terrible!

Planned a Graduation Lunch- 2 Weeks in advance for 5. Required our Party to Pre-Order 2 Weeks in Advance. Confusion! Lack of Service. Food arrived at Table ONE and a HALF HOURS after our arrival!!!!!! And then meals at our table were STAGGERED in 15 MINUTE INTERVALS. Wish I could say -worth the wait -Every Entree was EXTREMELY MEDIOCRE. Even the Salads!!! BAD FOOD -BAD SERVICE!! Why would anyone go here??????

Fish of the day was tasteless, sitting on a bed of tasteless, with a small blood orange salad, that wasnt tasteless. I havent received the bill yet, but I know its expensive. I had hoped buying the most expensive item on the menu would be good, it wasnt. Overall, I ate and that was the point, but at this price I regret the choice. On a happier note I found the show Lexx, and I really love it so far!

Great restaurant with tasty food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The salmon with stir fry vegetables was perfectly done. They have a kids menu that includes ice cream. I was very impressed with the service. The waiter came by to check on us frequently and plates were taken away promptly. Prices are not cheap, but given the food and service Id say this is well worth the money.

Had dinner reservations with friends last night at the Lexx. We have excellent service from the waitress, however, my dinner was cold upon arrival. The tips and asparagus had no heat what so ever, and the mashed potatoes were luke warm. That was definitely unacceptable for a $22 plate. I didnt want to make a stink with our guests, so Im sharing here.

The food is delicious! One of our favorite places to eat out. I am vegetarian, so it can be a challenge to find a good restaurant with multiple veggie options. My favorites are the hummus plate appetizer and the Moroccan Stew. Yum! The service is good, and a nice clean, comfortable upscale place. Not too loud. Outdoor dining is an option, too.

This time to the restaurant I tried the restaurants hamburger, and have to say I was disappointed. Compared to the various entrees Ive had, the burger was my least favorite, which seems odd, but it wasnt as flavorful as the other dishes Ive had here. The appetizers were actually better than the main course this go around.

The Moroccan stew is wonderful. Its a little pricey (for me), as are most of the entrees, but big enough to split with someone else. I also tasted the calamari. After having wonderful calamari on a trip to S. Africa, I had given up on finding any that was edible in this country, but this was just as I remembered it.

Very mixed. Ive had good meals, and Ive had bad. Ive had great service and terrible service. I do not like the darkness and layout, it is very noisy. It is not a bagel place as noted (a bagel place used to be there.) This restaurant has all kinds of things to choose from. Stay away from the fries...

Beautiful restaurant, way bigger than I expected from the outside. My friends and I really enjoyed the martinis on the drinks menu. Waiter told us they just changed chef so lot of the menu items are not available. I ordered the cod special, tasted delicious but portion was a little small.
