==SHORT VERSION== Food: Good serving size, very expensive, arrived cold and flavorless, but looked great. Service: Unattentive, lacking, and inexperienced for the price. Overall: We got two drinks and two entrees for $75. For the price, the food and service should have been 5x better. ===LONG VERSION=== I wanted to like this place, unfortunately it disappointed in many areas. We arrive at 615 on a Saturday night. The hostess informed us it would be an hour wait, unless we wanted to sit at the raw bar. We went ahead and sat at the raw bar, but walked past at least 5 open tables on the way. The facilities were nice, as expected from a new restaurant. The service was the major issue. We waited about 15 minutes for a server to come take our drink order. I ordered the Moscow Mule (which was pretty good, although lacking in booze) and my wife ordered an Allagash White. The server came back a few minutes later and took our order for entrees. 20 minutes later, the drinks arrived at the same time as the entrees (which I felt was pretty quick for the entrees). That was a bad move in the first place, drinks should arrive quickly to give the patrons time to socialize and warm up prior to eating. I had ordered the Pork Milanese. It looked great, and a good serving size. Unfortunately, it was colder than my drink. It also was surprisingly devoid of flavor, which I could not figure out since the tomato based sauce that was on it looked quite rich. We gave up at this point and ate our entrees, paid the expensive tab for such a simple meal, and left disappointed. As we left, we walked by 3 of the same tables that were empty an hour previously. Not sure why there would have been an hour wait when they werent utilizing their full capacity?

My family and I randomly picked 29 Sudbury for an early Easter dinner while we were in town for the Boston Marathon. The experience was monumentally awful. The server, a rude, inattentive, lady with purple hair was more interested in her cell phone and chatting with the bartender than our table of guests. We were surprised that the only menu offerings were brunch despite the restaurants website indicating brunch ended at 2:00 PM. Making the best of the situation, we ordered several Bloody Marys, water, and an array of food from the brunch menu. The Bloody Marys were inconsistently made and served (some in Mason jars, some in much smaller jars, and one even in a pint glass). Water was only refilled when I walked up to the bar (twice) to request the carafe be refilled. The food took more than an hour to be delivered to the table. I cannot speak on behalf of everyone, but the food was at best average and at worst terrible. The crabcake benedict I ordered was a greasy, tasteless mess, two of the three burgers ordered were so grossly undercooked, the hamburger was still raw, and additional menu items were not delivered as ordered. The food was delivered sporadically which made for an awkward dining experience. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone for anything less than a headache. The only thing going for the place was a lot of parking and a clean interior.

The service was good and the atmosphere was decent save for constant bad pop music through some really low quality speakers. More importantly, though, the food was bafflingly bad for its price--expect overcooked scallops, undercooked risotto, lukewarm soup, and unappealing quasi-creative flavor combinations all over the menu. This alone wouldnt merit a one-star rating, but the absurd prices and unfairly inflated expectations for the meal make it a bitter pill to swallow. BYOB to Applebees then burn a 100 dollar bill for a comparable experience.

29 Sudbury has gone through several iterations since opening. Its initial run was rather abysmal, but since then the restaurant has steadily improved and is now a place Ill willing eat. Servings are large and the menu has decent variety. The problem is with the menu items is they try to do too much: if the number of ingredients/toppings were reduced by 25%, youd have a cleaner tasting product. Nevertheless, the food ends up being reasonably good. You dont need to worry about getting a table, which is nice.

The food here was 50/50, pizza and pasta were good, but the fish was overcooked and kinda dry. Also, youre gonna wait for it. I didnt think we were there on a particularly crowded night, but it seemed to take forever to get someones attention and then another wait to get whatever it was you wanted in the first place. Maybe they are understaffed? They staff were friendly, and seemed pretty knowledgeable, but I dont think well be going back here.

The food was good, but the atmosphere was not conducive to conversation. Our server was pleasant, but distracted, and tough to locate when we needed him. More importantly, the menu did not indicate allergens present in the food-- we had a member in our party who couldnt eat cheese-- the description of the item ordered did not include cheese, but when it arrived, it was loaded with it.

Nice Italian spot off the beaten path, bar pizza is delicious. Seafood dishes looked really good. The beer selection is missing a few local popular drafts but this place seems geared towards a wine crowd. The bar chairs are not very comfortable is about my only gripe. If Italian food in Metro west is what you want Id give this spot a try.

Dined here last Saturday evening. Appetizers were great. Drinks were great. Entrées were average and a. bit overpriced for their quality. Service was suboptimal. Sat for almost 15 minutes before someone even approach the table to offer water and to get our drink order. Meals took a long time on a night that was not very busy.

Nice variety of pasta, seafood, pizza and desserts. Shrimp & saffron orzo was delicious. Good service. Lovely summer evening on the patio (ok - thats more to do with the weather than with the restaurant; but if youre there on a nice summer day I recommend the patio!).

Everything here is great. The steak is exceptional. This is one of few places I feel confident ordering it rare. Lucas behind the bar is cranking out mean craft cocktails. Its a hidden gem, my wife and I eat there at least once a month.

Best place to socialize in Sudbury for Friday night drinks with friends, or head to the bar to make new friends. Food is decent but not outstanding for the price, service has been good to great.
