This is the first time I felt compelled to write a review...I got a simple takeout order that was horrible. The chicken wings had no taste and was fried way to long, the boneless spareribs tasted days old, the beef teriyaki was dried out, the only thing that was decent was the crispy peppery chicken fingers. I dont understand how they let food like this represent their brand unless they just do not care because its a takeout order. I advise you to check the quality of the items you purchase from this spot before you leave the premises. I have had pretty good Chinese food from here, mainly on busy nights and dine in...so before warn... I wish I had read some of the reviews before I wasted $40.00 on lack luster food made by people who did not care what they put in the containers.

Better than most Asian cuisine restaurants that Ive ordered from. Ordered delivery during a Friday Lunch rush. Placed the order at 11:47. To be fair, my workplace isnt very far from them. Ordering online it does request that you place the order 45 minutes ahead of time. Anyways, I placed my order at 11:47 exactly, and then I received my order fresh and hot and properly packaged at 12:02. That is amazing speed given the time of day. They open at 11:30, so I suppose they must cook all of the food just before 11:30 and then have it ready for the lunch rush. However they pull it off, I was impressed. The delivery driver was prompt, polite, and professional. Ordering pizza from other places nearby gets boring after a while. I will definitely order from Cheng Du again.

Food was ok, pork fried rice was gross, but woman at counter was extremely ignorant. I handed her the money and she threw change on the counter. When I asked for it, with my hand open, she just slid it towards me. There was no good afternoon or thank you. Then I get back to office and one of the orders was incorrect. I called and she said, "thats the way they make it". I told her she was not being very business like and her response was, oh well. Really?! I will never order from there again!

I have been coming here for many years. I do this because the food is consistantly good. I am greeted by name when I arrive and I feel like I am part of a good dining experience. I think that the consistancy is because Tina knows how to run a restaurant. She treats her help nicely and because they are happy she has workers that care about their guests. This all comes together as a good experience for anyone who would dine here.

Yesterday me my wife and my daughter we went to celebrate valentines day, we get about 6 pm and hostess ask us to seat our selfs, after that we waiting for just about 10 minutes for the the lady realize we need something, when she get to table she try make us hurry up our order before she get busy poor custumer service,poor service,we decide to live and find another place,never gonna come back

Very fresh, great tasting chinese food. House fried rice is delicious and I love the calamari. Mongolian beef and singapore noodles if you want a little spice. My son calls it the lantern place because of the great decor in and out of the restaurant. The front door weighs a million pounds and has a cool dragon handle, so if youre taking grandma make sure you hold the door for her!

Ordered here once before and the food was great. Took a little long for delivery but the food was worth it. Now, I ordered my food two hours ago, expected delivery was 45 minutes ago and nowhere to be seen. When i called about 20 minutes ago I was told the driver would be pulling down my road any moment. And here we are. Severely disappointed.

Awesome good even better service. Bar is great...good atmosphere.hands down the best Chinese spot on the south shore. The bartender (betty) is a gem. They r beyond lucky to hav her. Just by working...tbe bar fillz up! Everyone loves **Betty** thiz is the spot to b if ur someone or anyone....ur here

The food is good at cheap prices, they can accommodate large groups and the staff is friendly.....watch the older lady, she loves the men! We are there at least once a month and order the same thing....she remembers his name and drink but never mine. Lol love her!

By far the best Chinese food restaurant in New England. Their crab ragoons are the best ever tasted. The waitstaff go above and beyond to be friendly and have your food perfectly delivered to your table. If in Stoughton, Stop by here you will not be disapointed.

Food is normally good but they are slacking lately and burning food it tastes horrible I got fried won tons tonight and they are almost black and there chicken is under cooked with little sauce and they never give you all you order and are always late to deliver

I came for the lunch buffet and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. As small as it is, it has good options and everything tasted very good. I sat at the bar and had great service. Everything was very clean and everyone was very nice.

Orange flavor Beef did not taste like beef. Water glass broke in my hand and spilled ice water all over me. Had to sit in restaurant with wet clothes and never offered any discount for the inconvience. Not a friendly place.

We just moved to Stoughton and weve been trying out every restaurant in town, but we keep coming back to Cheng Du. Its a normal Chinese restaurant that does everything well, especially crab rangoons

Staff was very friendly. Food was tasty, only bad thing was their water. It was undrinkable. They have buffet everyday except Sundays which is a bummer too.
