Worst experience here. Terrible Customer service and horrifying food. Disgrace to Indian food, Indian hospitality. In general I avoid Indian restaurants because I have seen they royally screw Indian food in an attempt to please the international crowd; I was tired after a long week in CA and wanted to have some plain dal chawal. Their dal costs $14 which is atrocious. And it comes in a tiny bowl, not even enough for one person. I asked for a drink called Kamasutra from their menu and he gave me the most shameful look. I ordered Bollywood naan and chicken 65 because that was the only dry option. The chicken 65 arrived but no naan or the drink. Then I had to call and remind them about the drink and naan. The naan arrived raw/30% uncooked. The chicken 65 recipe was screwed in the worst way. The family at the table next to me were equally dissatisfied with their veg meals and swore never to come back. Anybody with an Indian tastebud should not attempt this place. Anyone who wants to try Indian food for the first time please dont attempt this place because you will be scarred for life. And to top it all, I was made to change tables after I was seated at one by one of their waiters for no apparent reason.

I have grown up on Indian food all of my life, and I love everything about it, in the hundreds of different Indian restaurants I have eaten in/from this is single-handedly the worst I have ever been to. The portions were so small youd be lucky to fill a 10 year old child, prices were so steep given the portion sizes, the food served did not represent what was ordered and tasted (honestly) foul. I ordered 1 main dish, 3 sides and a Naan bread and every last one of them had a distinct chemical taste. One of the side dishes ordered was Chicken Pakora, which for the most part was chicken, however, several pieces were Shrimp, whilst this wasnt what we wanted or ordered it wasnt a massive issue - but it could be should you be allergic to shell fish (fair warning!). All in all, I will never eat there again, ever. I highly recommend if youre reading this to eat elsewhere. If I could give less than one star I would. - Dishes tasted days old - No particular flavor to the food other than an overriding chemical taste - Naan may as well have been a flattened Sara Lee loaf - Shocked Zagat rated it as anything above zero

1) Shabby service and cleanliness 2) Absolutely listless and uninteresting food 3) They have introduced a gift card which is cleverly designed to extract money much higher than that of the value of the gift certificate. Heres how: a) Each item on the menu was overpriced by upto $6 b) The quantity of food served is far lesser than most of the desi restaurants b) Forced to spend $50 to be able to use a $25 gift certificate c) An 18% gratuity was added to the bill d) Only one gift certificate could be used at a time (in a month) e) You end up paying minimum $38-40 dollars for food which is hardly a saving when you look at the overall food quantity served coupled with the fact that food itself was crappy! All these conditions effectively led us to a place where the restaurant was earning a lot of money for crappy food and we the people who bought a discounted gift certificate were getting no benefit at all, including no good food!

The service was easily the worst I have ever experienced. We have young twins so going out to lunch after the business crowd has gone works best. Arriving at 2 pm recently we were seated without high-chairs (after politely asking). No menus were provided though we only wanted a beverage since the buffet was in sight. Then we waited a full 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. The waiter watched periodically but never came over to see us. Finally, the manager (or owner?) came over - almost irritated to ask if we wanted something to drink. It was appauling! I explained our displeasure and said we would instead be leaving for the India Cafe across the street. There we had an incredible meal with kind and courteous service. Avoid Bollywood Grill!

My wife and I love this place! There are a few caveats that Ill start with first: 1) The service is unique. The guys are actually really, really nice. The thing is that they enforce a certain pace of the meal - you arent going to get things quickly unless you kind of force the action. Love it though. 2) The lunch buffet leaves something to be desired. Ive definitely had better. Go for dinner! With those out of the way, I find the Korma and Tikka Masala second to none. Grab one of each with chicken or paneer, add a side of garlic naan, and you are freaking good to go. If youre looking for something a little less common, try the Balti. Ive never seen it at another restaurant - its got a really nice, unique flavor profile that I love. Give it a try!

We went to eat there for the first time. We ordered the Chicken Saag (Chicken and Spinach) We were served a bloody/raw chicken. When we called the waiter to show him blood oozing off off the chicken, he tried to play it off that it was OK. We sent the chicken back, they brought it back 10 minutes later, pinkish in the middle. We didnt eat it, they gave us a bill for the untouched, uncooked chicken. The manager refused to credit take the uneaten chicken off the bill.. Do not go there, They also have the worst service.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants around the area but there are better ones further away (if comparing it to the best ever, I would give it a 3 but for Worcester, I would say it is the best option around and I have tried most of them). The food is good if you order off the menu. As for the buffet, I generally do not like buffets anyway so I would always go with the menu. Chicken Korma and Shahi Paneer are good. The sauce is thicker than most of the soupy junk around the area hence the 4 stars.

Bollywood grill enjoys popularity because there are not many indian restaurants in and around worcester. However Surya is much better. Bollywood grill is very expensive and the food quality is ordinary. The waiters are very rude and they do not know how to talk with the customer. They behave very arrogantly with the customers and force them to give heavy tips. Those who are new to worcester or fond of Indian food I would suggest them to go to Surya on shrewsbury street or India cafe on route 9.

I have gone atleast 5 times and i think i am cabable of writing a review.I think this place sucks big time. Good think about this place is the menu and variety it has. One can enjoy there if he wants no value for money. The service is very sad and hopeless. dont even get me started on Buffet. They keep the stuff there at 12 and keep serving the same cold food till 3 and on asking to get warm naan they just ignore you. It is very expensive and i did see flies inside the restaurant as well.
