I have been to this restaurant 2 times as I just moved to the area. At first it looked like a nice little local place. The first time I went in the place it was very busy and I felt a little rushed and very crowded. The inside is very small. The food was OK and not to pricey but how hard is it to mess up scrambled eggs and toast. Second visit..... I was craving sausage biscuits and gravy so I got up early with my girlfriend and thought it would be nice to go up the street to the local place for breakfast. As we walked in it was kinda busy and I saw a booth open so I asked one of the waitress if we could sit there and she said wherever u like. So we sat down, then a rather rude woman yelled across the restaurant at use telling us not to sit there. I just assumed that is the supposed sweet little owner of this gas station that serves food. So we got up and waited to be seated again at some little crowded bar while they gave that nice booth to another party of 2 that came in after use. So I got my biscuit and gravy and it was the worst thing I had ever tasted. I had one bit and pushed it away. So if u are a long time local, love small spaces and dishes that a small child could not mess up this is the place for u.

Some web sites may lead you to this place if you are searching for "kid-friendly" restaurants on the Cape. This is just a warning that the place is NOT kid friendly. We had five children and four adults there over the weekend (actually, the food was pretty good). The children were not rowdy, just acting a little like kids do, talking in relatively loud voices. At the end of the main course, the server brought out the check, told us to have a nice day etc. Did not ask us if we wanted dessert, coffee. We would not have stayed anyway because the kids cant sit still that long, but I think it was kind of rude to rush us out, especially if a place is listed as "kid-friendly."

We were starved and the food looked good, walking in. We had breakfast and not really impressed. Deep fried home fries, (not grilled/the good way), mutilated eggs, half warm bagel, $2 extra with cream cheese, corned beef hash straight from the can, not grilled either, and coffee refill very slow to come, and pricey. $40 plus tip for 3 breakfasts. That will be my only trip to this place. Blame the cook, he needs practice. Sorry, buts thats my take. Wanted to like it better than we did.

Hard to judge from year (or more) old reviews. Wife & I tried it on 11/4/15. Place is very small and at 3:00 p.m., had to wait for a booth (30 min. later, just us & 1 other group). Place was clean, service was prompt & friendly, prices were reasonable, food was so-so. My wife said the haddock sandwich was just OK and my clam strips ended up with mostly the batter. I might try it again after I check out some of the others. (P.S. Mens room could use a grab bar.)

If youre in the area and you dont eat here you have made a huge mistake. Very friendly staff and the food is amazing. Large portions of delicious food. Meal started with warm corn bread. I had the Lobster Bisque that was full of real lobster, husband had clam chowder and loved it. He had a Cape Cod Reuban (fish and cole slaw on toasted rye). I had Fried Clams. The desserts looked delicious but we were so full we had no room. Next time for sure!!

Waitress was extremely unattentive to us and the extremely over cooked bacon that was served to us. I was given this disgusting bacon before and I am baffled to how a restaurant can stay in business when you cant even make yummy bacon. Then the waitress shoved her hand into my plate contaminating everything and yanked the bacon away treating me is if I was a jerk. Ultimately the new bacon was just as disgusting.

Food was disappointing! I had the baked seafood platter (which included their famous stuffed quahog) and the clam chowder (which was fairly decent). Seafood platter was unseasoned overall, scallops were slimy, breading did not add to the dish at all, and quahog seemed like all breading. I should have followed my first hunch to leave after entering to an overpowering offensive odor. $25 down the drain...

Waited over 30 minutes for 5 sandwiches ordered at takeout in bakery section. No patrons came in directly before or after us. They need a better system for preparing to go orders or at least to communicate that they are backed up. 2 sandwiches, costing over $20 went bad because we no longer had time to eat them and had to leave them in the car for an hour on a hot day. Very frustrating.

Loved this place fast and very welcoming service. We ended up here at their Sandwich location on 6a after having gone to the BBC just up the road and waiting just to get seated for more than eight minutes nobody even came to welcome us. I highly recommend the Marshland restaurant. Fabulous food great prices great service

I have dinner at Marshland every so often. The food has always been good. The service is sub-par at best. The waitress didnt come over to our table until we flagged her down. Mind you, we were seated around 7:00pm..she came over around 7:17pm. This isnt the first time that we have received very slow service

Crowded/busy, so noisy; but has a quaint and convenient set up. The wait staff are hard working, courteous, and friendly. The food is basic and good. Portion and price are neither exceptionally large or small. Overall, a fine breakfast experience.

The staff were unfriendly. It took way to long for our food to arrive. The food was really bad. The cook obviously doesnt care or doesnt know how. The hash browns tasted frozen and weird. I would never eat there again. Very disappointed.

Ordered the steak bomb. It was easily the worst Ive ever had. The steak was fatty and chewy. I might have complained to the waitress but she never came over to ask how everything was. I would never recommend this restaurant.

Interesting diner-type setup with an attached bakery. Space is limited with six booths and two U-shaped short bar seats. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait. The menu is big and there are breakfast specialities.

Havent even finished eating.... Lobster bisque had me wanting to lick the bowl - didnt, but now regretting this decision a little. Excellent fish & chips, not the least bit oily as has commonly been my experience.
