Unassumingly AWESOME. You wont find a better breakfast and you wont believe how little they charged you for it. My wife had the crunchy french toast. Best thing she has ever had for breakfast according to hear. I had a couple of scrambled eggs, the best eggs Ive ever eaten, the best bacon Ive ever tasted and the best home fries I have ever eaten. The toast was probably the best ever as well but I dont usually rate toast. We were there early on a weekday and there was hardly nobody there. A friend had recommended it and it was just a mile from our hotel so we tried it out. After being there for a while you could see that a lot of locals were filing in. That spoke volumes. Charlies in Boston had always been our favorite and Charlies is legendary. The Water St. Cafe is the new fave for both of us. Just wish I had more reason to be in Plymouth besides the awesome breakfast place. The staff was friendly as can be and like I said, the price cant be beat. The waitress even ran outside to give our daughter a little toy she had left inside. It was everything you want a simple thing like breakfast to be. I was impressed and believe you would have a hard time finding a better breakfast anywhere near Plymouth. Best breakfast on the waterfront is a big understatement unless by waterfront you mean the entire East Coast. Best breakfast this side of Heaven.

Overall bad experience and dont think I will try this place again. The wait was ridiculous, almost an hour to receive my order of eggs and toast. My bacon was disgusting. It was cold and the best way I can describe it was stale. And tough almost like it was microwaved... The staff is rude and completely ignored me several different times. I simply needed change for a $20 and asked a waitress standing by her computer where I should go to get change.... she looked at me then went back to what she was doing and acted like I didnt exist leaving me to just wander around and figure it out myself. The price of my breakfast (which I seriously didnt even eat close to 1/2) was outrageously high for the poor quality of service and food I received! This was a horrible first impression!

Excellent fast and friendly service from Becca! My wife and I both had the Waterside breakfast...she had her eggs scrambled and I had mine sunny side up and both were done perfectly and served hot. The crispy french toast was delightful and not too sweet. The homefries were the 2nd best I have ever had (and I am 50 years old and have done a lot of travelling and eating in fine restaurants). The atmosphere was bright and (today at least) sunny and clean. It is a casual place (paper napkins) but great food and great prices. I would highly recommend this place for a quick and delicious breakfast.

My wife and I eat breakfast here once a week. Very good with reasonable price options. Some things are a little pricey. Staff is attentive and friendly. Food tastes great. I am NOT a coffee drinker but my wife is and we BOTH love their coffee. We will continue to go there. The only negative thing that bugs me is they wipe the table with their wet rag then place the coffee cups upside down... seems germy but everything else is so great, its worth it.

Was excellent food, crunchy French toast was incredible, good size portions and friendly staff. When they got busy they seemed stretched really thin and couldnt really check in anywhere at any point in the meal to see how things were going, but when she did come around she was really friendly and always had a smile on. Food took a while but seemed really freshly made, no one had a complaint about the food at all.

My family and I have gone to Water Street Cafe for many years. It is the best place to eat breakfast in Plymouth. The service is always friendly no matter how busy they are. The ladies and gentleman that work there really do provide great service with a smile. The food is always great, fresh and served in a in a timely fashion, you never have to wait on a fresh cup of coffee. That is very important!

My wife and I moved to Plymouth about 2 years ago. Usually we will go to blueberry muffin either in cedarville or Kingston we love it ! We finally changed it up and stopped into water st. Extremely disappointed! The Staff was very rude, we waited forever for service . Way over priced food with sub par quality. Wont go back ever again. Back to the blueberry muffin for great food.

Great place for breakfast Stopped in for breakfast driving thru Plymouth and this place hit the spot. Food was delicious and portions were generous. It was very busy on a Tuesday morning so I am sure this place gets even more packed during weekends. It seemed to be the spot where all the locals go. If your in town youve got to stop by for breakfast.

The Water Street Cafe has a great staff of friendly people. It has lots of parking, daily specials and a never ending cup of coffer. The food is solid but nothing special. A good middle of the road place to go for a sandwich or breakfast. Id say more of a 3.5 stars but not quite 4. I definitely recommend giving it a try and seeing for yourself.

Its obviously hard to judge an entire restaurant based on one meal, but I just had the best Belgian waffle Ive ever had. They put fresh (very fresh and ripe!) strawberries on it at my request... real maple syrup... the service was cheerful, attentive and fast, too. Ill be back, with friends :)

My husband is very picky about his pancakes but thought he had died and gone to heaven on our first trip. We now go almost every other week. The crunchy french toast is delish and I had the best omelette the other day. I highly recommend.

Baby friendly. Thats key. The staff is efficient and polite and theyre good at handling the rush. Theres a cozy feel to the place, but theres plenty of room. Lastly, you leave full and satisfied without dumping out your wallet.

My fiancé and I have been going to the cafe every Sunday for the past year. Everyone is so wonderful, and the food is great as well as inexpensive. Sometimes there is a long wait, but its totally worth it! We love this place.

Potato wedges cooked in a deep fat fryer and then sprinkled with salt and paprika are not "homefries". The sausage links were also cooked in the frialator. Weak! Lazy! I was hungry so I ate it. Will not recommend.

I was pretty pleased with this spot. Easily best breakfast in Plymouth. Probably. Eat on south shore. (Not sure Im ready to make that proclamation yet though.) be careful of the crowds!
