My husband and I went there on Sunday, December 4th and we had the WORST experience. I typically LOVE the 99, honestly it is one of my go to places for something quick and easy. However, when we walked in and sat at the bar, it took about 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge that we had sat down. That day their credit card system was down, so we cut them some slack since it was a bit crazy. We got mozzarella sticks for an app, and then I got the balsamic chicken wedge and my husband got the smokehouse burger and we each got a Pepsi. The service was extremely slow that day, and at a certain point the entire staff was congregating in the back room while all the food was just sitting out waiting to be brought to the tables. We cashed out and left as soon as possible. Within 10 minutes of leaving, the both of us got extremely sick. The only thing we ate in common was the mozzarella app and then we both had a soda. So either the oil that the food was fried in was dirty, or the soda lines were dirty. We were both sick all night well into the next day. We will NEVER again go back to that location because it was just that awful!

If you are a regular at the bar then this is a five star experience. I stopped in for dinner and a cocktail and the service at the bar was minimal. The two bartenders were to busy, backs turned chatting up with obvious regulars then refreshing my drink along with waiting for condiments to be available to me while my food got cold. Not one time did anyone ask me if my meal was prepared to my satisfaction or if there was anything else they could do. To note the bar was less than half full. Would have been nice if when I needed something I didnt need to wait for both barstaff to stop talking about vacations, children and the weather. That type of verbiage has a place and time and should not occur at the expense of someone just wanting to enjoy my experience.

Good food, including gluten free menu. Friendly staff. Popular with families. Ample parking. Close proximity to LOTS of shopping, so it can get very crowded at peak dining times. Enjoyable. Always clean. If you are headed there at a peak time, do call ahead seating, which is kinda-sorta like a reservation. They also do takeout, but I have never used that service. All wait staff and managers seem very kind and friendly. With lots of food allergies we are not the easiest family to serve. But we have had very few problems here with allergies. No bike rack, but youd have to be pretty doggone brave to bike on that road, anyway! Not very far from a bus stop.

I was disappointed in the food.. I had a bacon burger that I ordered med rare.. It was raw on the inside but it was brown from lack of blood..that usually means inadequate cooling temp. Do they leave their burgers out on the counter? Cuz if it was in the fridge.. Thats not good.... Anyway..I ate the bacon cheese tomatoes lettuce onions and some fries..they were fine...oh... And the waitress was pleasant..

Overall if youre coming here just for apps, beer and to watch sports this is a great spot. For anything else Id say go somewhere else. The drinks are made way too strong, the food is moderate and,the building itself isnt very clean. The same leftover food that was on a table when we arrived was still sitting when we left. Over priced for the quality.

We had a wonderful experience here. I happen to really like the 99 and this one was especially good because we had one of our dinner orders mistaken and both our server and the manager was so apologetic. They handled it with grace and politeness and if anything their attitude made our experience even better. We will be back!

Many options for whatever you are in the mood for and a comfortable environment to enjoy it in. The wait staff is friendly. We just try not to go when the red Sox win, because kids eat free, so the place is packed and loud.

Friendly staff, a chain, but they do a great job of giving each location a hometown feel. Love the local high school photos on the walls. Kids eat free when the Red Sox wins helps as well!

99 has become a part of my weekly routine. The food is fantastic especially the bone in wings served only on Thursdays. The beer is ice cold and the service exceptional.
