I wish I could give negative stars for the rating on this one. We had an awful time at this restaurant.Friday night -extensive wait times (ok maybe that was expected) BUT!!!!! Drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive. We ordered food, and half of the order never even came to the table, however they tried to bill us for it. Waitress was horrible horrible horrible... worst Ive EVER had. She did not know the drink menu and made us point to everything we ordered. Same with the food ordering. Waitress came back to the table 2-3 times to ask us what we had ordered again. For the finale we got empty fortune cookies. Got the wrong bill, asked her to give us the correct one which we noticed still had the items that we ordered but we never received. Spoke with the manager, his reply to all this.... if you are not happy then dont leave a tip.... REAL NICE... bad service, bad management, cramped tables, long waits, didnt get the food we ordered, they tried to rip us off ... all equaled out to a complete waste of time and money..... NEVER NEVER NEVER again!!!!!!!!!!!! If I ever attend this restaurant again it will be for a demolition celebration.......

I do not live in the area but my boyfriend does. Our first visit there together I was blown away. I asked for extra spicy and I got what I wanted. Loved it! Our second visit was just okay. We were seated in the cramped front area and the experience was uncomfortable for both of us and I didnt get the spicy I asked for. The last time we were there it was awful. The service was bad and my dish, that was so awesome the first time, was hardly what it was supposed to be. When you tell your server that you like your food spicy and you tell them twice so they understand....they should make sure the kitchen knows to make it that way. Oh, and when you drop the food at the table and a water glass is empty, maybe it should be filled before you run to the next table to make sure they have enough to drink. I was so upset that night our server only got a 10% tip. If I were paying the check it likely would have been nothing. The next time I have the option to go to Mandarin or get takeout from the place down the road....Ill opt for the takeout. This was just my experience.

This is my go-to spot for a Chinese buffet in and around Milford, MA. The number of buffet items has increased dramatically following their 2010 remodel and the food is much fresher then their chief rival up the street - Imperial Buffet. Specifically, the food in the buffet trays is less dehydrated by buffet heat lamps, possibly because they put out smaller quantities in the trays and replenish them more regularly. For example, a delicate dish like crab rangoons are crisp and not soggy from their filling mixing with their shell. On the downside, the buffet runs only at lunchtime, and the sushi buffet offerings are inferior to Imperials sushi bar, included with Imperials Dinner and Sunday buffets. Inside, Mandarins atmosphere is measurably upscale compared to typical buffet establishments in the area - well lit with linen napkins, unobtrusive ambient music and better than average service. They may not have the largest Chinese buffet in Milford, but the quality of food is the best.

My husband and I hired milford mandarin to cater our wedding. I have never been more impressed with a vendor as much as this place! Not only was the manager accomidating but was avalible 24/7 for anything we needed, or any questions that needed answering. He was professional and attentive and went out of his way to make our day special. The food is and always has been out of this world good! Its always fresh and full of flavor! I have never had a bad meal at any of the mandarins I have eaten at. I highly recomend them for any function or just a night out with your loved ones... I really cant stress it enough they are fantastic!!! A lot went wrong at our wedding and if it was not for the food and attentive staff of the mandarin the day wouldve been a bust! I do not exaggerate; when I say THEY SAVED OUR WEDDING!!!!

Were no strangers to this restaurant. Have typically found that this is the best Chinese food since the Pago Pago closed, but this meal was a DISASTER. While there seemed to be many girls to follow up, there seemed to be only one waiter and the service was terrible. Finally got our appetizer, and had another ten minute wait and he brought out our Lo Mein (only). By the time the rest of the meal came out, our Lo Mein was cold. Had to ask (and wait) for duck sauce and hot mustard, then they were brought separately, out one at a time. Then had to wait for the bill, then to pickup the bill payment. .....and the restaurant wasnt even that crowded! Very unusual for this place, but a real turnoff. Will be trying other places before going back here. PS, the Egg Fu Yeun was good.

I would give 4 stars to this place since its really nice and food its great, but the service makes the whole experience not so good There are places where the food is average but with a great service it makes you come back Not in this place, we are attended by "Nancy" who not only bring us more food of what we ordered because she thought I order to dishes when I asked about how big a dish was, but always seemed as she was in bad mood. Maybe because of that we didnt see appropriate that she had her personal phone at the loudest ring and answer in front of everybody. Hopefully the management could do something

Milford Mandarin is my FAVORITE Chinese / Japanese restaurant bar none. Some of my favorites are the Maguro Awase, Crabstick Avocado Salad, Spinach Fried Rice. Huge menu and everything is just so great. Service is amazing, staff is very friendly. PLEASE tell me exactly, though, the ingredients are in your Scorpion Bowl cocktail. They are the best Scorpion Bowls I have had, and I have tried making them myself at home using recipes I find online, but they arent even close to the same. Can you disclose your recipe....PLEASE!?? : )

The food here is pretty good. The rice is fine. The servers are nice, but recently when I went here it took way to long to serve our food. And finally when we got it, they forgot to cook two of our meals. Very disappointed (and starving). Will go back but maybe not as often. I would recommend they get more servers because one poor woman has to wait on practically everyone in the room (bar). Might have to find a place where the food is served all together..

Wish i could give less then a 1 for this... Ive been here a couple times and each visit has gotten progressively worse. The servers have never been good. They do not know the menu, and dont seem to care to know. We hadnt even taken our jackets off when we were asked if we were ready to order. the server was friendly, but untrained. I could get into little details about examples... but id just rather say i wont be going back again.
