Wah sang has its shortcomings but bases on the food and service of Chinese food in Lowell MA this place is the best. I give it five stars because Ive tried several Chinese restaurants from centralville downtown and the highlands and this one is my favorite. Prices are on the higher side of average but theyre open until 3am, so on those wild nights when you finally realize you should probably eat something wah sang is just a phone call away. Their orange beef is the second best Ive ever had anywhere (first being the jade pacific in Billerica which is an actual restaurant and not a take out joint). Their spring rolls are big and full of veggies and chicken. All their fried foods are crispy. LO mien and fried rice while not the best in the Lowell area imo are both really good and what LO mien and fried rice are supposed to be. The staff is always super friendly from the guy that takes my orders to the girl who delivers it. Now the shortcomings I mentioned, its little things, Ill order the same order on different days and it has different prices. Recently I placed a large order and they gave us one medium size cup of duck sauce which clearly wasnt going to be enough for 3 very hungry people with six spring rolls. Their online order menu has no option to order extra duck sauce so I have to call in orders. These are small inconsequential things imo. When I want Chinese delivered to me this is my first pick every time.

First off, I have been ordering from this restaurant for close to a month. And I always ordered the Sesame chicken. Today 11/21/2013 i ordered my usual, and it was delivered in less than 10 minutes (bear in mind that I live maybe 1 mile from them), but it clearly was the fastest delivery they had ever made. I paid and started on my food. First bite was an under cooked chicken, I thought maybe its just the one, then I bit into another, and then another, and lo and behold..under cooked chicken.. I call in, explaining what happened, being as courteous as possible, but some guy comes on, yells for a minute telling my how impossible that is, but I explain, what I had on my plate was very under cooked chicken, he says no, am faking it, its not under cooked blah blah... Extremely rude, more calling me an idiot.. Now, I wasnt calling to get my money back, I was calling to see if maybe they could trade me another plate of their food,and I was willing to return to their restaurant for the exchange. All in all, I was very unimpressed by that rude fellow, who barely let me explain the problem. If anything, I would urge everyone to stay away from this place, their restaurant feels pretty dirty when you go in, with decor from the late 90s. The kitchen area just looks plain nasty, why I kept ordering from them, is beyond me.. Lost another customer.

they have great food but rude customer service.. they are the worst take out i have ever had , because i paid with a debit card and they charged me 12 dollars extra, which the guy was gonna pocket, my food only came up to be 32.00, and the guy was not saying anything just that the receipt was coming and hung up on me multiple times. The joke is on him because i was with like 4 other people and we all triple checked the prices and added 3 bucks for taxes still did not come up to even half as much as he was charging me. Seriously i am so mad and he should be fired and when i tried to get my money back and talk to the manager she came in and left within 10 minutes and i was told to try her tomorrow at 7 am in the morning because no one else can process a return. So now i am disputing it from my bank and definitely filing a police report. This place sucks i would not recommend it to my enemy or anyone.

I just called them tonight. I ordered food, and gave them my credit card information. I got a call five minutes later, the caller stated that my card was declined. I am genuinely confused as to why, and I told him that. He said "quit jerking me around" and to stop wasting his time. I told him not to speak with me like that, and told him that I could use another card. He said he didnt want it, and called me a punk. This whole interaction was wholely unnecessary, and the unprofessional bully there called me simply to cuss me out. Ive ordered from them multiple times before today. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else with your Chinese order.

Used their online services and had a complete unprofessional delivery driver call me to dispute my online transaction, he thought he hung up the phone and started swearing at me through the remainder of the car ride, price of two meal was $18.56, when he came to the door the receipt he showed me was $19.48, questioned why the difference when online had a completely different price and started showing me his demeanor. Gave me my food and questioned why I didnt give him any tip. This happened twice in the matter of two different occasion. The food also taste strange to me, ashy rice usually, and bitter sweat sweet and sour sauce.

Just dont ever complain cause the guy is just like the soup Nazi in sienfeld he will flip his lid and throw you out. Someone should tell this guy about customer service. I had gone to this place twice per month and was very friendly for years until once I got a very over cooked dish and complained and that started a war . The guy flipped and told me not to come in anymore. I was a very loyal customer and understood you cant be perfect all the time but the guy at the counter really needs professional help.

If youre craving for beef teriyaki and pork chop with fried rice, then its the place to pick up. Ive never actually ate inside the restaurant myself as the place isnt that pleasant to my taste. I usually come to pick up the food and leave or have them delivery to my home (they do charge extra for the delivery). The food is great, but the service is not. I feel like they are a little rude. Well, I dont expect a five-star service from this kind of restaurant.

We have been ordering from Wah Sang for 7 years and have never had a bad experience. The food is always tasty, the service is fast and they always get our order right! They know us by name when we call and have all our food ready, as well as the extras we like (duck and super delicious ginger sauce!) and the prices are exceptional for the amount of food you get! Highly recommended!!

Disrespectful. Ordered 2 SMALL plate and Im pretty sure I bought a plate of chicken and vegetables. But received 1) 4 pieces teriyaki sticks 2) 4 pieces of pork strips For a total of $20!!! Ask them to repeat my order through the phone explaining how it cant be $20 for what they gave me AND ON TOP OF THAT it was cold. They were being rude. Never again.

This place SUCKS! They are so rude, they hang up on me all the time, they stop delivering early, they pack their food poorly and the juice ends up all over the bag, they shut their card processing down early (SERIOUSLY?!!) so I cant even pay for my order, they charge extra for practically everything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
