I thought that this place would be good considering I havent had a bad Thai experience in Waltham yet... I went for lunch in the afternoon to-go around 3pm so it was quiet, the service was OK not overly friendly.. and my food was ready SUPER fast. Little odd. Within hours I pretty much blacked out, saw stars and almost fainted. Instantly I was vomiting up everything I just ate, ruined my car, was sick (dont mean to be graphic) but my whole body depleted everything out of it imaginable. Im sure they didnt cook the chicken thoroughly-which lead to salomonella poisoning- dont EVER go there!! The should be reported to the Assosciation of Health Boards... Ive never gotten sick like this before and it definitely was the food from the Green Papaya in Waltham on Winter st! I want to puke every time I drive by there! BEWARE!!!

Ive eaten there often and Ive always been delighted with the service and the food. Ive never had to wait to be seated. The location is convenient once you know how to get there. Ive found them very accommodating of special orders and unusual requests. I highly recommend Green Papaya! The only negative I could think of is the view. It looks at a parking lot and an off-ramp.

I went to this restaurant for lunch. Maybe I shouldnt expect anything fabulous at lunch times, but my food was so uninteresting. Hot & sour soup (Tom Yam Gung) was too sweet and lacked zestiness of lemon grass. Red currey also lacked depth, and watery (maybe due to too much red and green bell peppers in the curry). I will not eat at this restaurant again.

Very good food and quick service. Its crowded at the lunch time but worth the wait. Their green theme is pretty prominent, nice ambiance. My personal favorites are chicken pad Thai, spring rolls, the basil chicken. Most important if you tell them to make it spicy they know how to make it.

This has been my favorite Thai restaurant for close to 20 years. It is always consistently good. Yes it does get busy at lunch time and parking is challenging but definitely worth it. My favorites - glass noodle soup and tofu delight. Also, great spring rolls, Pad Thai and chicken satay..

A very solid choice for workday lunch; authentic Thai at reasonable prices served up quickly. Its located among a bunch of tech companies so they know how to handle a crowd and cater to more adventurous tastes. My standard order is the Ka Prow Kai extra spicy (fear not the chili).

Great food and quick service. They can make dishes as spicey as Ive seen people be able to tolerate, or mild enough for someone with myriad food allergies. Green curry and pork garlic are our favorite entrees and Saigon dices and spring rolls our favorite apps.

Quality and service is lost. At least for lunch. They are in demend as there many offices around with not many restaurants. As a result, the service is bad. When Im in such restaurant, I think wait staff better replaced with automotic ordering system.

I liked that the food tasted good. But then I found that the vegetables were not fresh. When I pointed it out to the waiter he told me that it came that way and that it was fresh. When I told the waitress, she asked me what she would like to do.

Very nice Thai restaurant located off RT 128. Reasonable prices, delicious food, close to many hi-tech companies located in Waltham, Newton, Lexington. Great choice for lunch. Parking gets filled quickly during busy lunch hours.

Ive been to this place for lunch now about 5 times since moving up from South Florida. The food here is amazing! I try a different dish every time and have not been disappointed yet. Definitely try the Thai iced tea!

My shrimp curry was amazing, we got shrimp in a blanket too for an appetizer and that was excellent too. It was busy, might be good to make a reservation or do pickup. Cant wait to go back and try the Tom Yum soup.

Wide menu selection. Efficient service. Tasty food all around. Regularly stop here for take-away when returning home. Always brings a smile. Oh. And ask for your meal, "Thai spicy". Totally worth it.

Great Thai. Modest portions, which is a nice change of pace. Hot isnt too hot, but the food is good solid Thai. Fastest service around. Busy at lunch so get there early - not so much at dinner.

Green papaya has delicious Thai food and so many choices. Besides the fact that "medium spicy" is always thought to be "super spicy," everything about this restaurant is great, if not excellent

Some of the best Thai in the area. Definitely a different flavor than Baan Thai in downtown Waltham, and that is a great thing for Thai lovers. Id recommend this place any day of the week.

Best Thai in the area. I usually get take out from here, but it is a good experience to sit in as well. The staff are friendly and the food comes out quick.

Just okay. To be honest I only go here with coworkers due to proximity. The food is on the bland side compared to other Thai places I have eaten at.

There are better options in the Waltham area for this cuisine if you are willing to drive, but the food here is good

Erewan Curry, not spicy as advertised, mostly green beans, pieces of rubbery chicken, watery curry. Disappointing!
